Location is perfect, there’s also free parking provided. The hotel itself is nicely furnished while the rooms are clean. The life size statue of Leo Messi is a quirky feature.

It’s a Bulgarian thing but the bathroom is a wet room which makes it kind of annoying if someone has had a shower and you want to use the bathroom. The ventilation was also poor, so the windows in the bedroom steamed up from the shower. The thermostat didn’t seem to work either, so we were either too warm or too cold from opening windows. As they say, some like it hot…

Staying at the Real Hotel was great! Everything about it is fantastic. The facilities, the room, beds, view but most of all the staff. Super helpful and easy to reach all the time. Would definitely recommend!

The only one thing that could be improved perhaps is the water drainage in the bath and washbasin. It was too slow to drain the water. But perhaps this is a condition of the water pipes in all the city.

Location is great, walking distance all around. The staff from reception is very helpful and nice. The hotel is more close to a family boutique style hotel with flower wallpaper and classic design but with a modern glass elevator for top floors. Air conditioner system is a bonus in the summer. Overall, good location and good value for the money spent, if they will invest a little more in upgrading the bathrooms.

The shower was a big problem in both the rooms we stayed. I guess the sewage system is old as the draining whole is in the middle of the bathroom and all the water goes to it. Is a walk in shower on the floor with one glass window only. Any possible ways we tried to shower, we still get all the bathroom floor full of water. We solve it by buying some plastic slippers from the stores near, so that we could use the toilet during many hours until the water will evaporate or drain. The parking lot has a entrance on a tight small street behind the main street, I would suggest you ask for directions prior arrival to the hotel.

The location is good, just off main street. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Coffees available from reception as well as snacks. All bars and restaurants are within a short walk as are many shops. 24 hour reception, would return. No frills but very good hotel. We had a room with a balcony which was lovely. Quirky reception area and the hotel has a lift.

The hotel has an excellent location, close to the central area, with many good restaurants around. Comfortable and clean room. The reception area is very chic, like in a five-star hotel Very friendly staff who make you feel welcome

The location of the hotel is right in the best part of town. Close to all the restaurants, main walking street of town. Bed is comfortable although the soft pillows could probably be replaced. Clean, great cleaning staff as well as front desk staff. We extended our stay we loved it so much.

The shower is not enclosed and therefore runs into drain in middle of floor. No breakfast at the hotel although you can purchase coffee and packaged foods/snacks.

The location is good, staff is very friendly, you have elevator.

The hotel doesn't have a restaurant so it was a bit difficult for breakfast. You can however have a coffee/tea in the lobby. Furniture a bit outdated, but beds were cery comfortable

Location, parking.

It's annoying that the rooms don't use cards but keys, but you need the card to turn power on. Card is attached to the key. So you walk into the room, lights are off, and you need to lock the door before putting the card into the socket to turn the power on, but you can't see the keyhole due to darkness.

Very cozy hotel in the heart of the city next to the main street and all restaurants and shops, really big and clean room, comfortable bed, big bathroom with everything that we need, the hotel is very quiet and relaxing, there is free parking for couple of cars, good time for check out, very helpful staff

Nothing to dislike

The Old Architectural Style is perfect in this Hotel. Large room, quick functional air conditioner. Wright In the heart of Veliko Tarnovo. Coffee and tea cheap compared with another hotels of same stars.
