Rooms were big and very nice. The bathrooms could use a refresh. Cleanliness - 10/10. Towels - 8/10. The spa - although the staff spoke limited English, we managed just fine. We tried all kinds of massages; the staff were qualified, kind, and proactive. They even agreed to give a massage to our 5-year-old son, who was absolutely thrilled. Attention: the prices listed on the Booking website are no longer accurate. Most of them are almost double. The pool - small but enjoyable. Breakfast was very good. Although the variety of products was not extensive, there was enough to choose different things each day. The desserts were very tasty, except for the pancakes, which, honestly, were served cold and quite tasteless, with the option to pair them only with honey or jams. What I did not appreciate was the lack of coordination with the number of people expected for breakfast. It's not that there wasn’t enough food—there was—but the empty platters were refilled with just 5-6 slices of cheese, 5-6 slices of bacon, and then replenished again, often with a single carafe of milk, even though the busiest time was clearly around 9:00 AM, making it obvious that such small quantities would be gone in minutes. There was always something missing. Again, we didn’t go without, but having to keep an eye on the milk carafe from our table just to snag a cup for the child did not seem appropriate for a four-star hotel. Oh, and as a suggestion—it would be great to have warm milk available, especially for those of us with young children. I would also recommend a more proactive attitude from the staff, focusing on the needs of the guests, where real solutions exist. For example, on the first day, we had to inconvenience a couple who were likely there to relax by sharing their table with our child, as the staff didn’t allow us to use a table in the front half of the restaurant. However, the next day, due to the large number of people, no one seemed to mind anymore.

Proactive attitude from staff, coordination of necessary products. There aren’t many seating options available at the pool, but we swam a lot to keep us busy. The jacuzzi - the water was a bit cold. We had to get into the pool to warm up.

Great Location, in the heart of the old town. On a busy square, not far away from the Fortress. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Although the hotel is one of the oldest, the rooms were renovated with a touch of modern desing and very clean. We also enjoyed a dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great view of the Fortress light show, accompanied with sound, which make it a great experience. The food at the restautant also was very delicious with quality service. I deffinetly recommed it.

A minor disadvantage was that, due to the location it was quite noisy during the night. However you experienve Veliko Turnovo once and this could not destroy our stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located in the vicinity of the old town and offers gorgeous views towards Tsarevets Fortress - unfortunately our room looked onto the square on the other side of the hotel. Still we had dinner on the terrace of the hotel's restaurant and enjoyed the light show over the fortress, which was a lovely experience. The room was spacious, well furnished and clean, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was new and clean. The spa facilities were great and a good way to decompress after travelling and sightseeing. Breakfast offered plenty of choices. There isn't much parking outside the hotel but we were very thankful to get a space. The staff were very kind, friendly and obliging. Our stay was excellent value for money.

Everything was very nice! The ladies from the reception were very polite, always smiling and ready to suport, the guys with the parking also very careful and receptive to us, assisting us with a transfer when we parked our car at another hotel's parking which was located 300 meters away. The restaurant staff was very nice. The view from the hotel's restaurant and rooms, is absolutely marvelous, directly on Tsaravets hill, which offers every week end a light show.

Maybe the parking nearby the hotel, which wasn't very large, but this is because simply isn't a physical space for too much cars, but at 300 m there is another safe car parking of the hotel.

Great/central location yet quiet, very spacious, clean, and comfy room (we booked a room with a view of Fortress), good staff, enjoyed the spa and massage, good full breakfast- fresh fruits, eggs, sausage, yogurt lots of varieties. This place is popular with big tour groups so don't go to breakfast at the same time with them. Some staff members are very nice and warm and some are not. We thought Stefan was awesome. We enjoyed Veliko Tarnovo. We ended up booking a third night. We thought the hotel was great value for last minute booking

The beds were super comfortable. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was superb. Everything was very clean. The hotel's location is perfect, and there is designated parking for the guests. They have even paked a car in front of the space with a charger to keep it for us because we were travelling with an EV. The check-in and -out process was a breeze. The breakfast was great - very tasty with good variety. Everyone was helpful and polite. Overall, it was a very good hotel, very well maintained. I would stay again. The charger is a significant plus for me. I just wouldn't count on the pool.

We paid for a room with a view, but got one without it. We were in a hurry for a meeting when we arrived, so we didn't talk to the receptionist to change it. The room was nice enough, though we have paid a bit more for the view. We didn't like the pool. It was small, a bit dated. There were kids scraeming and jumping everywhere, and no one told the rude guests to try to mind the other people there. You have to pay 20lv per person for the spa. We decided not to go because, seeing how small the pool was, we assumed the spa would be as small as well. And 60lv for a sauna room for 10 minutes just isn't worth it.

Excelent location, close to main attraction pointss and spectacular view from the balcony. Confy and clean. Staff was nice and helpfiul from the beggining, starting by indicating the parking place and luggage help when needed. Breakfast was good and offered a large variety . Pool, even small as the hotel was full of guests, was a good relaxing point.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, everything was perfect for me, before I even had checked in one of the staff helped me to find and park my car. The luggage was taken to my room, which was comfortable and clean. I had a walk around the town and shops, returning to the hotel for my evening meal at 8pm. Great service and the food was fantastic and plentiful. The following morning, I was booked into the spa for a treatment, I recommend the hot stone massage and some time in the pool. I will be returning, but for a longer stay.

Restaurant food, view and the staff are fantastic!! Enjoy it every time. Frontdesk gentleman needs to improve his customer service skills. Ladies and the valet at the front desk are superb! Great location.

The hotel elevator is too small to accommodate bus loads of confused tourists who kept riding it up and down at the busy times. Room AC needs a higher power fan. Only one part of the room was cool. Definitely, this hotel needs to invest in better pillows - ones in the room are lumpy and too soft.
