Great location - short walk to the meadows with free parking in the streets around the corner. The staff were exceptional. Helpful and friendly. The family room was huge and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and there was lots of it. We would happily stay here again.
I had misread the facilities, thinking there was a dedicated car park. There isn’t, but we had no trouble finding a spot just off the road around the corner. The Main Street is busy so our family room at the front of the hotel was quite noisy at times. It wasn’t bothersome though and as we’d been up since 3.30am that morning, there was very little that was going to keep us awake!

The hotel is a fairly old building and a wee bit tired in places however the staff more than make up for everything. The rooms are decently furnished with adequate facilities and comfort. The breakfast was well worth the £10 charge. And the entire experience is value for money. I was stupid enough to drop my glasses in the room and only realised when I was back on London (I wear contacts for those wondering 🤣). I called the hotel who were more than helpful and arranged for my glasses to be sent down to me. I believe it was Nicole who went out of her way to post them. Thank you Waverley Hotel.

Breakfast was ok, with a good range of items available. I asked for a Bacon Sandwich one morning and this was no problem. We had dinner both nights and the choice was pretty good 'Pub Food'. Serving sizes were more than adequate.
Parking, The hotel doesn't have dedicated spaces so it is down to first come first served in the nearby side street (Free Parking). This was fine in June but once the main holiday season comes you may find yourselves parking further afield. There are several car parks around but I dont know if you can park overnight in them!

The staff were excellent. Nicole in the bar area made us instantly welcome and helped us by advising to book a table for dinner as it would be busy. All the staff were attentive and polite. The bed linen was immaculate and the bed comfy. We walked along the main road in Callander and we were very glad we'd picked this hotel over the others...it had atmosphere and had a nicer interior with bright bar area and good drinks selection. Breakfast was huge which set us up for a long day of walking ahead.
Minor point....Shower head and shower sealant and door could do with some mould treatment as it was quite black.

Have stayed here on a number of occasions! Staff are always welcoming, helpfull, friendly and nothing is ever to much for them to sort if a request is made or question answered. Considering how bizzy the establishment can get they are always professional and work well as a team and courteous to the paying public. Rooms are always well presented and clean. Chefs breakfasts are yummy 😋 and nice spread if prefer a continental. Highly recommend xx

I arrived late after delayed flights to Scotland, they kept the kitchen open a little past 2100 so I could eat. All the staff were super friendly. Bar was well packed with lots of locals & some travellers too. Food was good, & no crazy prices. My room was above the bar but was still quiet & no direct noise. Bed was comfy & had all the basics.
Not their fault but it's on the main street & there is some truck traffic passing all night. Close the window & likely isn't a problem !

Great location for Callander Park it’s right on the main street. It’s dog friendly. The food is lovely. Staff are all friendly. Breakfast was so tasty and great value for money.
So it’s the staff in the pub that have got to come and deal with the hotel so no one about when pub closed. We were woken during the night to a bunch of drunk men who had forgotten there front door key.

Spacious room, clean & tidy. Breakfast staff exceptional, attentive, cheerful & friendly. Lovely helpful cleaning staff too.
Poor choice of beers, no Abbots as it has apparently been "coming soon" for over 3 weeks. Only draught cider was Strongbow, which I doubt had ever seen an apple! This caused us to drink elsewhere, apart from a glass of wine each night.
