The room was really cosy and also the bathroom was very nice. The view from our balcony was exceptional, there were also two sunbeds you could very well relax on and enjoy the amazing view. All facilities are well maintained, clean and decorated with attention to detail. We really appreciated the service from the delicious breakfast (even with vegan milk options available) to the very attentive host Michele who made us feel at home and took a lot of time for us to give his personal advice on trips. The heated swimming pool was also a nice bonus.

Didn’t get the room we wanted unfortunately, ( but that’s no one’s fault ) The wood of the mirror in our room ( the room with a bigger balcony ) had accumulated a bad smell, filling the entire room. ( we ended up removing the mirror and putting it on the balcony )

Bottom line nice bed and breakfast overlooking amalfi coast . Nice rooms , ok breakfast , free parking , very very very nice and helpful host , nice swimming pool but not really warm enough - we asked to warm it up a little but it was still cool (for the season when it’s still a little cold it outside it was practically almost not useable)

Value for money not great . We paid almost 300 euro per double room in April- very early season . We felt it didn’t justify the price . Location nice but praiano is a spot on the road with very little to do compared to positano for example - so the very high rating for location, we thought was overrated . No bottled water in room , no espresso machine in room and nice but not great breakfast -specifically the very small selection of hard cheese , meats , breads and low cost juice - we felt that for the price they could be more generous! So great all-round , with main issue being the value for money !!and maybe the very high booking.com ranking is a little misleading

Fabulous location, the best view of the amalfi coast. Room had private balcony with amazing views. Beautiful terraced garden with a small pool, (heated with jacuzzi feature, towels provided), all with the view and the scent of the jasmine ! Breakfast on the terrace was inclusive and was a delicious spread included freshly made cake and hot scrambled eggs and bacon, and a lot more, served on a terrace with the view of course! And cakes left for you to enjoy a snack later! Bedroom very pretty and bed very comfortable. Small bathroom, with bidet, spotlessly cleaned daily. Shower drains slowly but is no problem. Parking always available and included, a must in this area. Hosts/staff all lovely, helpful, friendly, excellent English! (Sadly, we can only ask for a coffee in Italian!) Loads of tips and information for when you're exploring, and made us feel so welcome and looked after for 5 days.Thank you so much for our wonderful stay for our 25th wedding anniversary 💕

The infinity pool was a standout feature – ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, providing a great space to relax after a long day. What truly made our stay exceptional was the service, especially from the manager, Michaele. He was incredibly attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had everything we needed. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local restaurants, or offering advice on the best sights to see, Michaele was always there with a smile, making our stay feel personal and welcoming. Overall, La Maurelle is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat on the Amalfi Coast, and Michaele’s hospitality truly made our visit special. We can't wait to return!

location was perfect… near many restaurants and the beach and close to the bus stops to get into Positano and Amalfi and to hike the Pathway to the Gods room was overlooking the water hospitality and helpfulness of the staff was exceptional

The shower took some getting used to as the water pressure was forceful and the drain was slow for the volume of water

The location was perfect . Lots of wonderful restaurants and away from the busy streets of Amalfi.The staff were superb and so helpful. Michele sorted out a transfer for us and helped out immediately when our flight was cancelled. He is wonderful.

From the moment you walk into La Maurella you feel right at home. Michele was a fantastic host as were all the staff. The room was comfortable with the most breathtaking view from the balcony. Being only a small hotel, it was quiet and relaxing, we felt like we were the only ones there. There was no rush at breakfast (which was wonderful) and we had the pool to ourselves on the 2 occasions we used it. Michele and his staff helped us with the local bus and advised on places to eat. We had stayed in Praiano before at a bigger hotel, but felt this was a much nicer experience. You are 15min walk from the beach, or can grab the bus for €1… lots of places to eat round about. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thank you La Maurella.

La Maurella has one of the best locations, the B & B is very cosy and tastefully decorated. The view is amazing. The breakfast is great especially the freshly baked cake every day by Diana is delicious! The free parking is a big plus. Also Michele is very service minded; he goes above and beyond whether it's for questions and tips or making great cappuccino and helping bring to the suitcases upstairs to the car. Michele is the best host ever! The heated pool is very nice. You can really relax and enjoy your holidays We would definitely recommend.

A perfect place to stay!! The room had an amazing view, breakfast was super tasty with lots of variety, and the service was spot on—everything came together to make our time on the Amalfi Coast really enjoyable. The pool with its direct sea view with the warmed water was definitely a highlight. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us great tips on places to visit and where to eat. All in all, we’d absolutely recommend this place
