Great location central to Shibuya. Great amenities, unlimited and good selection of alcohol, free ice cream, free bath essences. My kids loved the free ice cream. Room comes with karaoke!

Too many "hourly" customers with prostitutes frequenting the hotel. Makes it not family-friendly and less safe. Also I wonder and worry how well they can clean rooms that are used for hourly prostitution services. Do I need a black light for my room? Room entry and hallways were very narrow.

Superb location 5 minutes walk from Shibuya crossing. Very clean and not too small room for Japanese standards. Staff at the reception is helpful and friendly though they can't speak a word of English. I used Google translate and was perfect.

The fact that I didn't know that it was a love hotel until I started walking to the hotel and saw all the business in the street nearby and then little "signs" in the hotel room. I had no idea. I chose the hotel because of the good price and superb location near Shibuya crossing. Though after the surprise I must admit that I had no problems and mind my own business. The hotel room's door is noise isolated, I notice when exiting room and hear the music in the corridors. I was relieved to see other guests checking in that seemed like a family on holidays so I felt relieved I was not the only innocent ignorant when booking 😆

Liked the location a lot, very very friendly staff who tried to help as much as possible even though they didn’t speak proper English.

Before we booked we didn’t realize this is a love hotel. Mostly our fault though, since we didn’t properly research it.

Location was amazing, only a short walk to Shibuya station. Hotel and room were exceptionally clean and we were offered house keeping every day of our 3 night stay. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and very patient with our lack of Japanese language. They helped us book a taxi to collect us for a day trip early one morning. Free drinks and free ice cream available in the lobby every day. Very quiet rooms despite the central location - we couldn't hear a thing from our rooms. Plenty of toiletries provided in the bathroom, along with hairdryer and curling tongs.

This is a very strange hotel but worth the experience. Located in the heart of Tokyo, with so much with in easy walking distance. Hotel had great bathroom amenities and beautiful soaps etc plus a bathtub. Room was clean, bed comfy and you can adjust your aircon. Minimal street noise. Lots of free drinks in the foyer including alcohol. Staff helpful and friendly. I asked for an extra two towels, one to dry my hair and one because I accidentally drenched a towel. Staff left me with eight - very sweet and I felt looked after. Great little hotel, worth the price and the experience.

Rooms are on small size There is some adult entertainment businesses situated on same block as hotel - it may be confronting for some people.

This was and is advertised as a budget economy hotel. What you need to understand that in Japan all this means is value for money. The level of cleanliness in Japan is far, far more thorough than what you'll be used to from western countries. The staff are incredibly helpful and polite. There are also free supplies and drinks available 24 hours. i.e. Free drinks, face masks, bath bombs, herbal teabags, bath salts. You're also slap bang in the centre of Shubuya, one of the wildest, busiest parts of the city, but just off the main street.

Honestly, the only thing we would have liked is a second pillow. That said, we never asked for one, and I'm very sure the staff would have been more than happy to accommodate us in that regard. Honestly, nothing bad to say about this place.

Stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. It is super clean and had a really comfy bed. Staff are all extremely professional and try to assist with any queries even if there is a language barrier.  The reception desk always has someone on it, which is helpful if you have a late check-in. Had regular housekeeping. They have free ice cream, water, and alcohol in the lobby.  The bath in ensuit is pretty deep, which was a win, and the room also had a balcony. Perfect location being only a few minutes' walk from the scramble crossing. The room was equipped with all the essentials (toothbrush/toothpaste, body wash, shampoo & conditioner) and there was an even larger free toiletry selection in reception. Would definitely stay here again when we come back.

Staying in a frenetic place like Shibuya requires a quiet and clean retreat. This place provided both! In addition, all staff members,more importantly front desk officers, were extremely kind, welcoming and helpful. The amenities include free flowing champagne, soda water, ice cream, wine liquor, coffee, ice cubes, chocolate, and bathroom/ health and well being essentials...all included in the hotel fee! Guests may take any of these anytime when they feel like it. It's location is just right smack in the middle of all in Shibuya. So you are never far from a nearby conbini, ramen or yakitori or wagyu/ kobe place and dry goods store. Its near the Shibuya station we can actually pat the head of Hachīko every night before going to bed. I would definitely recommend this as your home whilst staying in Shibuya. In fact, I will be back next month for another sojourn in Tokyo and will make Hotel Diamond my home away from home.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating! They explained everything about the hotel and amenities effectively, and were prompt about guiding us with the free amenities. We arrived earlier than expected but the staff let us do an early check-in at no extra cost. The rooms were very cozy, and had a lot of extra amenities such as a microwave in the room, bubble bath, a seat and bucket for the traditional showering style, and was smoker friendly! That way, we didn’t have to go outside to use our vape. TV was huge, and had a lot of features for us to play around with! I’d definitely recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to stay in Shibuya for their visit to Tokyo.

Very minor things, the bathtub faucet was leaky, but wasn’t very detrimental. The rooms are a bit narrow (at least for the size we picked), so if you have a full size clam-shell type suitcase, it may be difficult to open in the room. There could have been more pillows, but that’s just being nit-picky and it was still a comfy enough bed.

If you want to establish a base in the heart of Tokyo, Shibuya could be one of them. And what better place to stay other than one of the multitude of establishments in Dogenzaka. It's literally near everything, including the train station. With lots of local dining places, having been a regular here ( thrice), I now have nearby yakiniku and sushi bar as favourites! I'd recommend this place for short stays in Tokyo when you want to have easy access to transportation and of course...the local shopping experience. Moreover, the staff ate extremely helpful.
