This is a wonderful Chateau Hotel. It was a pleasure to stay here and be treated to delightful accommodation and gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful but also unobtrusive, at times making it feel like you had the chateau all to yourself. The breakfast was good with small but adequate options. The in house dining was also very good if you are only wanting a small meal after a long day out and about sightseeing.

Transport arrangements to get in and out of Bordeaux was frustrating. It is quite a wait for a taxi or Uber and we found coming back to the Chateau took quite a while for an Uber to accept the ride. If I was visiting vineyards i would recommend a car.

What an amazing find in Bordeaux! This is an exquisite property that more than exceeded my expectations! The drive up to the property from the gate reveals manicured lawns and an amazing sprawling estate. Once parked up, you come up to the property itself that looks even better than the pictures. Max at reception was a delight who covered the check-in like a pro taking time to show us around and walked us to our room. Now the room (with river and pool view) was just perfect. It was massive, immaculately clean, and super comfortable. We then popped down to the heated pool for a quick dip and used the sauna - both were perfect. The only downside was that I had only booked one night and couldn't extend due to work commitments. Massive congratulations and thanks to the owners who put 5 star establishments to shame with what they have to offer here. Do not have a second thought and just book here. It's perfect.

It is a beautiful château, lovely rooms and very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the garden and pool. Really beautiful scenery.

There is a limited menu to choose from, and as the château is far from any shops or restaurants, it is difficult to have to eat the same food all the time. Sometimes they run out of ingredients, which makes it even more difficult. The standard rooms also don’t have a coffee machine, only instant coffee 😢 The hotel is expensive, I think this is an oversight. It is difficult without a car, but Uber is readily available. The boat that one can take to town is extremely expensive, not worth it

The breakfast is excellent. Fresh orange juice, which I love and fresh fruit, provided amongst other things. The château is beautifully presented in park like gardens. There are bicycles to ride around the gardens. There is an elevator.

The website claims to offer food throughout the day but we saw no evidence of this. A better eye could be kept on when certain items of breakfast were going down or needed replenishing. We thought the price of going to Bordeux on the boat was very expensive.

Be your own Princess… This is the absolute best place to stay. Hire a car and do day trips to Cap Ferret and Cognac…. Then at night get an Uber into town for the excellent restaurants and street wine bars. Julo was excellent

There is no hot bistro dining BUT you can have a fantastic Charcuterie plate and a Caesar salad with your self pouring wine machine. The château is a perfect backdrop for relaxed wine snacking on grounds.. just perfect

Having been in the city for a number of days, it was wonderful to escape to the peace and quiet of the Chateaux. Its right on the river and just a delight to sit under the trees, by the terrace and watch the river flow by. Its a real get away. Swimming pool was a suprise and a real oasis of calm.

There is no restaurant on site which is both good and bad. Good in the sense, the place retains its tranquil feel as its never busy with cars/customers arriving for lunch/dinner. Bad as the food they do serve is limited and although its okay getting an Uber to a restaurant in the Medoc, its more challenging getting back and expenisve. If you have a hire car no problem, best of both worlds

Where to start... what an absolutely stunning property in the most beautiful location imaginable. The chateau itself is very quiet with a small team to assist with anything you need. Our room was one of the smallest according to booking.com but it was huge with two very large French doors, armchairs and well stocked mini bar. Our views to the front of the chateau overlooked a huge green lawn and the other side gave stunning views of the Garonne river. The room was so quite and as the property is in its own estate there is no light pollution so we slept with the curtains open and woke with the sunrise - bliss. There is no full restaurant on site for dinner, however there is a lovely breakfast room looking out onto the river with terraces all the way round with outdoor seating. We chose to go out during the day into Bordeaux centre which is only a 20 minute drive away and stayed at the chateau Saturday and Sunday evenings to take advantage of the lovely atmosphere. We ate an amazing plate of ham and different cheeses out on the terrace in the evening sun both nights - superb. There is also a very clever 'help yourself' wine card which allows you to try different types of wine in different volumes which are then charged directly to your room.

Honestly, absolutely nothing. If there was an evening restaurant then I guess it would be useful to some but we absolutely loved the choice of evening charcuterie etc.

The hotel was very clean and the grounds are well-maintained. The pool and sauna were impeccably maintained and the seating outside was perfect for enjoying the view of boats going by on their way to the ocean.

The mattress and pillows could have been more comfortable but wasn’t bad.

The chateau was great with a large, comfortable room and few places inside and outside to relax. The location was also great with easy access to vineyards and the city. The service overall was excellent and staff were very helpful.

Blissful! The chateau is a charming property set in lovely gardens. It has a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere allowing for a comfortable and serene stay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, and the staff are extremely welcoming.
