The staff were very pleasant and friendly; also accommodating. My french was quite basic (I am still learning) but they were very nice about this and helpful. They were also very helpful in general, all of them, from reception staff, to the cleaning staff and bar/food. The surroundings is very relaxed as well. I was at an event at Matmut Atalantique stadium - it was a 10 minute stroll from there. The tram is also 2 mins away from the hotel, which takes you straight into town. In fact, the tram system in Bordeaux is excellent - you can hop on and arrive anywhere, they are very regular! We just found everything so easy - but that is Bordeaux in general, I think!

It was a great location for matmut stadium and also the tram line The staff were pleasant and friendly especially Hèrve (Harvey) Who went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after, hope I got the spelling right 😉, The food here was also very good

The only thing that disappointed me was that there were no bars around the hotel , just more hotels, also a mini fridge in room is really a must especially when the nearest supermarket is a fair distance away

Basic room, too price for what they offer Sign for door to kept falling off cause of wind. So staff first came in when not supposed to and then didn't come clean the room when they should have. Only 1 towel per person Breakfast hours during week only until 9am, weekend only until 10am

The staff were extremely friendly and spoke perfect English. Facilities felt very secure and comfortable, we stayed with our dog in our room without any issues. I really liked the fact we could park right in front of our room and all the amenities close by (restaurants, mcdonalds, etc)

Dissapointing after our stay at Campinile in Toulouse the previous night, which was excellent. This room was gruby with a foisty smell, in need of an update / refurb.

All you need. Surprisingly quiet location. As for the restaurant just superb. Our host/the manager such a happy character. Excellent service. Food selection incredible and prices reasonable

Typical Campanile, on the edge of the water, no frills, but beautifully clean, with pleasant staff. Room had everything we needed for an overnight stop, just moments from the motorway and without any road noise at all. Great shower. Breakfast was expensive but extensive. Whilst we didn't use them, the trams to the centre of Bordeaux stop nearby as well, making it a good place for a city visit.

Exceptionally, the restaurant wasn't open for evening meals which would have been our preference, but the hotel is sited in an area where there are several in easy walking distance. We ate at the Courtpaille and had a very nice meal.

Quiet, clean and easy to reach from the highway. Good food restaurants around. Good connection with the city center and other locations.

The parking place is quite small, it was not very easy to find a place. Small rooms.

Faulty kettle in the room meant we couldn't use to make coffee

Room was basic, but clean, and bed was comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good. Location was 5 minute walk from tram stop. Restaurant on-site was good with friendly staff.

Trams in Bordeaux are excellent, but hotel was a 30 minute ride from the centre (fixed fare €1.80).
