Breakfast was very good with a large choice ranging from continental to English style and everything in between. The hotel is run with trained, qualified and very professional staff, which makes a huge difference to other hotels around. The amenities are clean regularly. The bar downstairs with the sand and relaxing area, plus the upstairs bar with the view are fantastic. The upstairs restaurant is very well run. The swimming pool is beautiful and very enjoyable.

The breakfast is worth it, though a little pricey compared to other options around, within walking distance of the hotel.

First of all I would like to say that the Hotel Renaissance Bordeaux Hotel is excellent! But a fact happened in our stay that almost undermined this statement of mine. The room they selected for us was on the 8th floor and on the first night, due to a party on the rooftop of the hotel (9th floor) it was impossible to sleep. When we complained with the reception the sound ceased. The next day the service team understood the fact and changed us to walk. Suggestion for the Hotel: Inform at check-in the condition of the noise from the rooftop, because this way the guest decides whether or not to stay on the next floor. But reinforcement that the service team acted quickly and did everything to provide us with a comfortable stay. Congratulations to the Renaissance Bordeaux teamfor their attitude and service.

Exceptionally friendly, calm and organized staff. My sister and I were lucky enough to be chosen as guest of the day and got a room upgrade, voucher for the coffee shop and later check out. Lovely room, spacious with modern bathroom. The beds are super comfortable and linen of high quality. Towels could use improving as slightly hard. Delicious breakfast with wide variety and gluten free section. Location is good, little out of the old town, but connection with Tram is easy and right outside hotel. There is a food market and Wine museum next to the hotel.

Nice hotel North of the city centre, with bar restaurant and several activities. The climbing was very fun, we recommend it. There was also a nice outdoor relax area connected to the bar, with lounge chairs, petanque, etc. The rooms were good, nice bed and bath rooms. Overall, staff was very good. Ok breakfast buffet.

The pool was a bit too small/crowded for us when we were there, the gym quite small and basic. We had some minor issues that were corrected, like safe did not work, towels taken but not replenished. The fridge we had did not work, we were suggested to leave any goods in the reception. Location is great for cité de Vin, but you need a short tram ride (or an hour’s walk) to get to the city center.

The hotel has a modern design and is perfectly located next to a big food court, and the wine museum. The pool was great with an outstanding view overlooking the river and the city. The employees were always nice, friendly and helpful.

The breakfast finished too early, all the food has been carried away at exactly the end and there was not a possibility to sit for a while end enjoy.

This is a nice hotel, with a unique concept, incorporating the old concrete silos. Good size bedroom & bathroom, which was nice & quiet (we were on the 4th floor). We stayed for 2 nights & had dinner at the Gina Restaurant on the rooftop on the second night. The food & the service in the restaurant were exceptional & our waitress (Ines) was so nice & helpful & couldn't do enough for us. There is an excellent food hall (Les Halles Bacalan) just at the rear of the hotel, which was recommended to us by the receptionist at the hotel. It has lots of eating options at decent prices. The hotel is a fair way from the city centre, but you can catch a tram from close by, which will take you into the city. We opted for the bicycle rental, which is a nice ride along the river from the hotel to the city. About a 15 minute ride, standard or electric bikes & only costs a few Euros.

The hotel has a nice rooftop bar next to the restaurant, which offers a nice view of the city & the sunset. However, we found the service in the bar to be very, very slow, waiting 20 to 25 minutes to get a drink, even when the bat was not too busy. It really spoiled the experience, unfortunately.

Very modern hotel in a new upcoming neighborhood in Bordeaux, there's a nice food market in front of the hotel. The rooms are completely new with all the necessary comforts. A great plus for us was the fact that we could take our dog along in the hotel, but also to the restaurant and rooftop bar, which I highly recommend. There's public parking right next to the hotel where the reception can book you a spot at a reduced price. Special thanks to Oana for the warm checkout, brightening up he last day of our holiday 😀

The quality of the food in the restaurant could be better.

Close proximity to the Cite du Vin and a walking distance to other places of interest, restaurants and the tram. Impressive views from the rooftop bar/restaurant. The view from the room was great (paid a small amount extra, on arrival, to be moved to higher floor). Parking was easy, managed to find parking in front of the hotel, otherwise the is undercover parking right next to the hotel. I appreciated the personal touch in the room for my birthday! :D

The cleaning robot on our floor was noisy. The hotel could do with a some refresh in places, cutlery and crockery. The breakfast could be better. Other than that the hotel was okay.

The buildig was a beautiful surprise! The location was wonderful. It was very easy to use the tram, but there is also a lovely walking route along river La Garonne. The tasty breakfast was amazing and the view from the breakfast floor made our day start good. The wine museum, a must see place, Cite du Vin is right next to the hotel. Les Halles de Bacalan is even closer with lots of food choices. On our first day, especially being a sunny Sunday, I think we saw all the Bordeaux residents there. After exploring Bordeaux center, we rented a car to see the surroundings. Having a parking place right behind, with a hotel discount was perfect.

On our arrival there was a marathon in Bordeaux. We could not reach to the hotel by taxi, and had to walk with our luggages. But the sidewalks were easy to walk.

Excellent location, smart hotel and super roof top bar. Rooms are very smart and the staff are super friendly. Parking next door at Citi du vin is easy and good value.

We were on the 8th floor which is under the bar and restaurant so very noisy until late and early morning with tables and chairs etc being dragged and moved. Air con was useless and we couldn’t get cool, could not connect to the tv at all and twice our booking was mistakenly cancelled which almost became a problem. As k not to be on the 8th floor if you want to be able to sleep.
