How does it feel to be at home? It feels like being at Le Clos des Queyries. The owners are such a splendid couple, hosting people like gentlemen do. The structure is awesome, very well located out of the city center, but it takes just 10 minutes to reach the heart of Bordeaux. The beauty of the room is difficult to describe. And Silvie &Sebastien actually saved our life on the last eve, preparing such a good assiette of charcuterie and cheeses we were able to eat quite late when we got back after a daily trip. It’s pretty simple: if you plan to visit Bordeaux, and it deserves a visit doubtlessly, you must stay at this place. Top notch. You won’t regret!

We had the most wonderful stay with Sylvie and Sebastien; they were so helpful and welcoming. Sylvie took the time to explain the tram system and where to visit in Bordeaux which made a massive difference to our visit. Our room was beautifully clean and elegant and the bathroom very modern and easy to use. I thought the breakfast was great too, with fresh fruit, home made yoghurt, fresh croissants and bread loaf... pots of tea and coffee. We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely nothing.

One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. The owners are fantastic and always, and very welcoming on your arrival. it’s very close to city center, but it is an old huge château that is walled in and has an electric gate to let you and or your car in. Parking is included on site at no extra charge, and is very secure. The air-conditioning was exceptional, lots of hot water and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was also so amazing, and just sitting out in the open air having a glass of wine or meal is fantastic.

Absolutely nothing.

The property is beautiful inside and out. The location was good. While not in the historical downtown core it was a short walk to a Tram station ( Tram A ) which took us there in minutes. Easy access parking. The continental breakfast was excellent. All types of coffee included. Our room ( Salinières Suite ) was spacious and very well appointed plus it looked onto the garden/patio area. Sylvie, Sébastien and Ludmilla welcomed us and over beverages gave us an overview of the area and information on the historical downtown sites. Sylvie also recommended a restaurant Café Français right across from the cathedral which was excellent as well. I don't think we have ever felt as welcomed at a place we have stayed at before. Truly memorable.

On our part, I wish we had booked a longer visit.

Sylvia and Sebastian (I hope I got that right), the couple that run the hotel are absolutely fabulous. They really make you feel at home and happy to provide advice on where to go, what to see, where to eat etc. If you’re worried about leaving valuables in your car, this place is great as it has secure parking inside the grounds of the Hótel

That the owners were not up when we came back after dinner at 11 o’clock. We would really like to have sat down and had a drink with them!

Le Clos des Queyries is a charming, safe, and accesssible bed and breakfast that my husband and I enjoyed very much. The rooms are sparkling clean and comfortable. The homemade breakfasts were wonderful. Owners Sylvie and Sebastian are friendly and professional, and they helped us in every way that we needed assistance. They clearly care about the quality of their property and service for their customers’ excellent experience of Le Clos des Queyries.

Our only wishes are that we understood when booking that our room that it did not have a television (other rooms there have a tv), and that there are few restaurants in easy walking distance of the property—but that fact is not something that Le Clos des Queyries can control.

Reserved 4 of the suites and were only guests for a very special celebratatory weekend together with our family. Absolutely perfect for our requirements, a beautiful building with two fabulously decorated ground floor rooms and two more upstairs. Loved hearing the frogs in the garden pond. Enjoyed the location being slightly out of the centre as metro was so easy to use and the metro tickets also took you on the boats on the river. Sylvie and Sebastien were delightful and couldnt do enough to assist in making our visit absolutely perfect. Felt totally relaxed, just like being at home - it was a truly memorable weekend. Will definitely return.

Nothing - it was perfect for us all.

We loved it here and would definitely come back! The room was so clean it was pristine. And the bed was comfortable and the bedding high quality. You won’t find anything better anywhere else. The owners Sylvie and Sebastian are so kind, warm, welcoming,interesting and entertaining that we have no choice but to love them. And the student from Portugal that works the cafe is charming and was super helpful! The property is located in a normal neighborhood, but it’s behind a gate and it’s landscaped beautifully and feels like an oasis. And right around the corner you can get the tram right in the downtown Bordeaux. You wouldn’t want to drive in the town and find parking anyhow. This is the way to go. So much better than staying at a hotel. They serve a delicious breakfast here too, and you’ll enjoy getting to talk to the other guests if they’re around.

A beautiful hotel located in a very quiet area close to the main tram line. 5 stops and in the centre of Bordeaux. The room was superb with a great shower and very comfortable bed. Easy to drive to and good parking on-site. Breakfast good with home-made yoghurt and confiture. The owners Sylvie & Sebastien were very welcoming and helped us immensely with information on what to visit and how to get there. They also booked a restaurant for us whixh was superb. I would recommend the Cafe du Port. great food and location sitting overlooking the river. Definitely a great place to stay if visiting Bordeaux.

Having to leave

This property is a wonderful, relaxing oasis just on the outskirts of Bordeaux with fantastic tram links into the city in just 6 mins. Sylvie & Sebastian r amazing hosts & they make your stay very comfortable. Their continental breakfast is delicious with homemade yoghurt & jams. The accommodation is very clean, beautifully decorated & comfortable. Would highly recommend!!!

My only one negative would be the spiral staircase in one of the bedrooms which we did find quite tricky, but we r 60 plus.
