Patricia and Christophe were a most gracious couple. Their home was everything as described, and felt very warm and relaxed. There was even a swimming pool to use but unfortunately it was not quite hot enough during our stay. Breakfast on the terrace was relaxing and plentiful. It was lovely to sit in the sunshine and chat with other visitors. Transport into town is very easy in the trams, however is very walkable which we mainly did. Christophe was even so kind to drop us at the train station, due to us leaving on a weekend and early in the morning. I would not hesitate to stay here again

This is not just a hotel. You will really feel at home here. A very hospitable landlord. Indeed, you feel like a part of the family. Very clean. Very tasty breakfasts. I liked the homemade yogurt. There is an opportunity to have a conversation with other guests at breakfast. The breakfasts on the terrace are great. The rooms are quiet. The neighbours are almost inaudible. Great location. Not in the downtown. That's why it's quiet at night. There are either 3 tram stops to the center, or on foot across the bridge. About 20 minutes.

Lovely welcome by Patricia who spent time explaining the sites and where to go. Bed was so comfortable and lovely breakfast. Tram direct from airport was so convenient. Beautiful park Jardin Botanique and river walk nearby. Quiet area and we loved the smell of jasmin everywhere. can't wait for our next trip to Bordeaux! Thank you Patricia.

Cannot fault anything

FAST and secure pro-grade WiFi. DELIGHTFUL breakfast. Pleasant and interesting fellow guests who we met at breakfast. The hosts have 11 years hosting experience and their skill and professionalism showed. Beautiful, clean house, beautiful art, well-appointed, a class act all the way. Location felt safe. ~20 min. walk to city center and 1 minute walk to a bank (Societe General) with cash machine/exchange.

What didn't I like? Nothing. It was great. I'd stay again without hesitation. The price was competitive too.

We had a wonderful stay at the maison Bastide! The hosts took good care of us and provided us with information about touring the city. The room was clean, quiet and had everything one needs. We had a good breakfast, where we could have a nice chat with the hosts as well. The location was also perfect. Near to the city center, to where there were train and bus stops 5 minutes away.

Our host was amazing. She shared inside knowlendge of both the city and where to visit great wineries. We had delicious breakfasts and enjoyed our morning conversations with our host and guests.

Parking for this was a little further away than we would have liked but a big +++ that they had secure "off street" parking available for a small fee. It was walkable to the old city but a little far.

Patricia and Christophe are great hosts who made us feel very welcome. The guest house is an excellent base for exploring Bordeaux. It is only a few minutes from the city centre by tram but the surrounding area has lovely restaurants, bars and cafes. The guest house itself is cosy with very comfortable beds and AC in each bedroom. It has a lovely pool that our children enjoyed at the end of a busy day. We enjoyed talking to Patricia and the other guests over a lovely breakfast each morning. Each evening we ate dinner in a place that Patricia had recommended on the website or when we spoke to her, and we were never disappointed! The transport system in Bordeaux is great, particularly the trams. The tram will take you directly from the airport to the stop nearest the guesthouse (a very short walk) in around 45 minutes.

Breakfast was excellent. Delicious home made fig jam and yogurt. Fresh orange juice ,bread, and croissants every morning. Well set table with nice decoration and cups. Nice ambience and location. Very convenient as I was having classes at Bordeaux IAE University walk distance . Good restaurants very close, Mille Et Une Saveurs libanese cuisine, Cote Zinc- tapas and a very good gastronomique restaurant L' Oiseau Bleu , very close and very convenient, pizzeria and a very good bakery. Good internet signal. Many facilities very close as pharmacie, market, carrefour. Tram line also is very close. Patricia and Christoph hospitality and kindness.

Patricia gave us a warm welcome, with tea, map and all we wanted to know about Bordeaux ! Excellent freshly prepared breakfast, and time to chat, with hosts. Maison Bastide is in a quiet residential area, within walking distance of everything in town, tram 2 minutes away if necessary.

Some people might find the step-in bath and shower a bit difficult.

The location was very good. The tram stop was a few minutes walk then a couple of stops took you to the centre. There were also buses close by. Our hosts were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was delicious with homemade items and weather permitting it is served on the lovely patio area. The entire house has been renovated to a high standard with lovely furniture and fittings. I highly recommend this accommodation and if in the area again would not hesitate to stay there again.
