We highly recommend this small and very cosy hotel for: - its location - direct tram to the airport + very close to the vibrant and historic center of Bordeaux (you just need to cross the river by foot or tram) - the cleanliness of the rooms - the comfort of the bed - the amazing breakfast with carefully selected and home made products - and last but not least the beautiful soul of the owner and manager of this place

Our host was a very kind person. Very helpful, letting us know about lovely things to visit in Bordeaux and suggested a great walk and places to eat etc., lots of local knowledge that made our stay even better again. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nice quiet area, we were there for Bastille Day and still managed to not hear late l. Great breakfast and really tasty treats with a home-made twist. Ideal situation for getting the tram to the airport on the last day of our stay, literally outside the door. Close to the old centre of town, a ten minute walk across the bridge and the river Garonne. Nice restaraunts nearby and coffee shops etc.

Nice hotel with the local tram station very close buy, though we chose to walk into the city center (across the bridge) for our daily visits. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were spotless and the beds very comfortable. It's located a bit outside the city center so outside noise is non existent. There's a small épicerie just next door which is great for drinks, snacks, fruit, etc.

The inside walls are thin so you may hear your neighbor coughing. It was't an issue for us, but there isn't an elevator for the upper floors. We didn't eat there, so no idea of the breakfasts, but they are offered.

Fantastic location a 2 minute walk from tram stop with a direct link to the airport and just over the river from the scenic old town area. Also just a short walk to the bus stop for events at the Arkéa Arena. The friendly and professional staff were helpful with giving directions and advice about restaurants and sightseeing. I rang in advance about having bad knees and my luggage was carried for me up to and back down from my 1st floor room. The very clean room featured a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom with excellent shower pressure and no fluctuations in water temperature, and air conditioning. I was absolutely delighted with my stay here and this is now my go to hotel for Bordeaux! Book early to avoid disappointment as there are only a few lovely rooms available here.

The fact that it does not have a lift is the only drawback, as this is not suitable for everyone, but I was able to manage the stairs.

Excellent communication with owner and staff. Very clean and comfortable. Very close to tram line into city and also within walking distance to city. Very quiet even though tram goes right by hotel. Everything was exceptional. Owner very involved in the running of the property and it shows in its cleanliness and upkeep.

Only thing we missed was not having a fridge.

We booked Hotel des Voyageurs after discovering our usual selection on the left bank was closed for renovations. It turned out to be a stroke of good luck. This is a quiet, very safe and secure location with ready access to light rail, not to mention easy walking distance to hotels, bars and restaurants alongside the river. Our room was very clean and comfortable and quite spacious for this part of France. Annette is a wonderful host who willingly provides helpful advice and professional service and hospitality. She not only speaks good English but makes ready contact with her guests via email and messaging services. We would make Hotel des Voyageurs our first choice the next time we visit this marvellous city.

Located at Stalingrad tram stop which will take you into city centre The room was basic but very clean.

There was no safe box in the room. Unfortunately due to works on the line the tram was not running for the duration of our stay

This should be a three stars! The staff was really welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely, with a comfortable bed, a decent size bathroom. My room was on the first floor overlooking an internal courtyard but it had quite some light. It was rather at night except for the occasional garbage pickup in the early morning. The hotel is located in a newer area of the city with a nice alternative vibe (see eg Darwin) and a bunch of nice eateries.

There wasn't a kettle in the room but when I asked for hot water they gave me one, plus mugs and cookies.

Location is really excellent, near STALINGRAD tram station. Very easy to get cist center and very easy to get from and to airport (airport tram line A is going in every 30 minutes and need about 35-40 minutes). Hotel is very clear, rooms and bathroom was good quality and very clear. Staff very friendly and helpful.

No lift

Clean, comfortable rooms. Location was within walking distance of city centre, also easily accessible to other areas by tram. Friendly staff.

Walls are a BIT thin, you can really hear people coming and going, but not so much once they’re in their rooms.
