Upgraded to a super nice suite by paying a modest supplement for a package deal that also included free parking. Location next to a beautiful park through which one can easily walk to the city centre in 10 minutes. Parking at the hotel, which is outside the ZTL.

Inattentive staff at the breakfast buffet. Parking spaces so narrow that the door of the car next to mine scratched the door of my car when opening. Reception staff asking for a tip in "a new initiative by the hotel" during checkout. A hotel at this standing should be able to pay it's staff a decent salary without introducing a "service fee" that the friendly receptionist was clearly embarrassed to ask for. I had no issue paying the extra 10 EUR, but found the "new initiative" odd.

We had a great experience at Starhotel Du Park. It was not my first time in this brand, the first time was in Venice, and it was similar. The place looked outdedat from outside, and with few renovations inside. It has a cozy, slightly fancy feel. The mattress was very comfortable, and so were the pillows.

There were a few downsides: the room does not have great AC, but it was okay. I booked with breakfast, which was great, with a lot of Parma ham, haha, and a great variety of breads. Still, the reception from the restaurant was not good; it seems they are not willing to offer anything, and you have to ask for it. However, on the last day, the manager was present, and the service was significantly improved. Additionally, the curtains are not suitable for those who prefer to sleep in complete darkness. The garage is very narrow, but could fit our SUV, and even though the parking is in the hotel, we had to pay 15 euros per night.

The staff were wonderful, cheerful and helpful. The location was perfect, just outside the beautiful park that leads to the town center. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and makes you feel as if you are royalty staying there. Our room was spacious and beautiful.

Paying 4 euro for a small bag of potato chips was extremely annoying. The minibar prices were outrageous and we had no desire to utilize it. The bag of chips was sitting out on the table so we didn't think it was included as a "minibar" item.

The hotel was within walking distance of the centre (but probably not in the best area) and it had a decent restaurant. In its heyday I would imagine it had been quite luxurious as there were some nice art deco touches, but it was quite dark in places. We paid for an upgrade package which was very good value for money as we had a larger room, discounted food and drink and it included parking.

The underground car park was difficult to access and was very dark and really didn’t feel very safe. We struggled to access it from inside as the signage throughout the hotel was not very clear.

This is an Art Deco building, retaining many original features. It is situated on a dual carriageway some distance from the centre, but on a bus route to the train station and centre. You can also walk into the centre across a park. Opposite, there is a small shopping centre with bars/cafes (Tempi Moderne was lively and welcoming) and a supermarket. Just around the corner in Via Giovanni Lanfranco, there is a truly excellent modern Italian restaurant called Marì. We had a junior suite which was spacious and quiet. Breakfast buffet selection was good.

The “American coffee” available in an urn in the breakfast room is vile. Espressos etc can be ordered from waiting staff, but there were too many periods when there was no staffer actually in the room for you to order when wanted.

Everything was fine. The location was close to the center walking distance ab 15 minutes. The room was light and cozy as well as the bathroom.Above all, I feel I have to thank all the kind persons at the reception who were always there smiling and willing to help whenever asked for help. I have also to thank the staff at the restaurant for their kindness and perfect service. If I ever come back to Parma star hotels du Parc will be the hotel I will choose again. .

Breakfast was great. Room was very spacious and comfortable with a variety of old fashion luxuries. Location is right in front of the park which is a nice 10 min walk to the city center. Supermarket right across the street which was perfect! Staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful view from room. Would stay again.

Restaurant is ok. Not amazing but good enough to feed the kids a late night snack. Housekeeping came into my room uninvited, while my 5 year old was watching tv and I was in the shower. I told them to leave the pillow outside my door but instead, came in and I was greeted by 2 women when I came out of the shower. Awkward and obviously inappropriate. Lots of men right now everywhere in Parma: all around the park, on the streets, just hanging out a lot of the time, you can cut the tension with a knife... Not the hotel’s problem, but it should be noted that the tension is high when walking around. I did not feel safe walking around at dusk alone as a female.

I recently stayed at Starhotels Du Parc, and I must say, it was an excellent experience in all senses! From the moment I arrived until the time I checked out, everything was perfect. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was professional and welcoming. Amenities: The hotel offers top-notch amenities. The gym was well-equipped, and the spa services were rejuvenating. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which was fast and reliable. Rooms: My room was spacious, modern, and meticulously clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had a fantastic view from my window. The room service was prompt, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Location: The hotel is ideally located, close to key attractions and public transportation. It made exploring the city very convenient. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, offering a wide range of options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend Starhotels Du Parc for anyone looking for a luxurious and hassle-free stay. It truly excels in every aspect, making it a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers.

My stay at the hotel, for the two nights I spent there, was absolutely flawless. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, the room very comfortable and well-kept, and the breakfast simply excellent with a great variety. The location is very convenient, about a 10–15 minute walk from Parma’s historic center, which makes it ideal for exploring the city. Overall, I was fully satisfied and I would highly recommend it!

I honestly found nothing negative during my stay

This hotel transported me back to a 1960s film, built with pomp and circumstance. Everything is mahogany and rosewood. The breakfast restaurant has the same style, with neatly dressed staff. Unfortunately, we didn't eat at their restaurant. Everyone is, of course, friendly and does what they're supposed to. The hotel is centrally located in Parma, a 5-minute walk from the center. So, if you want to experience a hotel with style and a good location, you should definitely stay here.
