We are stopping here on our way to Southern Italy. It was not the first time and probably will not be the last time we are staying in this hotel. Location is good, close to motorway. As said, we simply spend the night here before hitting the road again. Staff is friendly, you can arrive in the middle of the night, parking seems to be safe, breakfast is good and they are accepting dogs.

Excellent location not far from motorway. Room was a junior suite, unfortunately only 1 chair available in sitting area ( so a couple have to take turns) ha ha. Breakfast was very good the waiters made us feel very welcome , both waiters most helpful.

Another chair maybe nice so both of us could of sat together, this is just a small thing to adjust and would make a great difference.

The breakfast was varied and tasty. The location is ideal if you have your own car, close to the highway and with the city centre easily reachable.

It is probably due to the low amount of supply, or due to the 1000 mile, but we found the hotel overpriced. The facilities are getting older, starting to require some replacement. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant experience.

The hotel is well-kept and surrounded by greenery, and there is a lounge area outside which is pleasant in the evenings. The reception staff were very polite and helpful, and were very kind to help us book a taxi late at night at short notice. Breakfast was good, there was a selection of cold cuts and cheeses as well as yogurts, fruits and cereals. It was plentiful and constantly being restocked, and we enjoyed it very much. The rooms themselves were clean, and the housekeeping staff washed the floor every day which was great.

The area itself is quite cut-off, and if you are travelling by public transport it is not ideal especially in the heat. However, with a rental car it would be great. The AC in the rooms was not great and we were in the middle of a heatwave, so it wasn't the most comfortable.

This has been our 4th time staying at CDH Villa Ducale and never been disappointed. The room was very clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had three very good nights' sleep. Staff were courteous and attentive to our needs especially when we had a problem, of our own making, sorted out quickly. Breakfast was continental with a good choice of bread, cakes, fruit, etc.

The restaurant was closed Friday through Sunday. When we did eat there, the portions were small and very pricey. Not good value for money. In the room, the shower didn't have a closing door. Overall, not really a 4 star hotel.

Very good breakfast with attentive staff topping up buffet constantly. Good choice of dishes. Nice coffee from machines. Very nice staff, happy and courteous. The staff are 4 star the hotel isn't.

I can live with the small room, but it's old and poorly maintained. IMO not a four-star hotel. Air con struggling to keep this small room cool! I resent paying 3.50 euro city tax for four-star when it clearly isn't. The restaurant was closed for the duration of the holidays!

We checked in late - around 2 am and the checkin was smooth. In fact we booked just an hour earlier on the go from the car. The receptionist was very pleasant. The breakfast was excellent. So all in all, it was good value for money - especially after a disaster two days ago in Venice.

The bed was too soft - especially for a person like me with a back issue. Could be a bit firmer and, if possible, a choice can be given.

Bathroom needs refreshment - old style furbished - breakfast was ok but breakfast staff was not efficient (lots of plates on the tables, lack of refill)

The hotel is very nice. Easy to access from the highway. The staff are very friendly. I liked the spacious and safe parking. The breakfast was tasty with a variety of options. Good WiFi connection.

The bed mattress could have been more comfortable, but still, I slept like a bird.
