The room was very clean with two large twin sized beds, which were very comfortable and could be pushed together to make a big double bed. The bathroom facilities were excellent with a great shower. The room was spotless when we entered and was kept spotless with daily cleaning. The staff were also excellent and helpful when we needed them, but other than that they left us to it (which I personally like). Madrid is also a welcoming and beautiful city, I would personally recommend the Mercado San Miguel and the Mercado San Anton for places to eat. We saw a Flamenco show, which, even as a person who isn't generally a fan of dancing and theatre, was really fun. The zoo is also excellent and is close to a metro station. All of the sights, like the Mueso Reina Sofia, the Retiro Park and the Palace were beautiful. The nightlife of the city is also great, I would personally recommend places around Chueca.

The location of the hotel could have been better, just because a metro was needed to get to the primary attractions in the city centre. This isn't too much of an issue though because Madrid's public transport was superb and you could get the the city centre within about 30-40 minutes (depending on where you wanted to go). Also the nearest metro station is very close to the hotel so it wasn't a huge issue.

Not a great breakfast experience, as the person in charge of breakfast didn't turn up. So the remaining staff had had to fill in. They couldn't turn on all the lights, so you couldn't see what was on offer very well. The fresh pastries were not there at the beginning. The toaster is right beside the drinks machine, so there is a traffic jam, as the toaster takes ages to brown a slice and folk are standing around waiting, while others want to pass. It wasn't easy to have a quick breakfast. Disappointing.

Working class neighbourhood..Supermarkets nearby, but no other small shops..restaurants yes..public transport loads of it..taxis called by reception come quick..note I was there in low season, Madrilenos are on holidays. So little traffic..and hotels are cheap then..my review is based on low season prices Very lovable receptionists to top it all Aircon very good

Hotel located in a quiet, non-touristic area, quite close to a metro stadion so it's easy to get there from the city centre. Staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and diverse, however it's rather continental with some Spanish accents. Room was ok but not too spacious.

Well, tortilla de patatas was served cold and I like it heated up. Sometimes there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom.

Great neighborhood, location, the subway is near lile 10 min walking. After a long day in Madrid, you can walk at 11.30pm without problem to return at the hotel from the subway station. The room is confortable to rest, is not a resort. And the idea is rest, take a bath, and go to Madrid Center, by the way, in subway is like 30 min to Gran Via o Sol station that is the center or Madrid. The buffet was ok, not big deal, cereal, milk, bread, some fruits, cofee, jams, hams and cheeses. Some slices of hams were too chilled so had a bad taste. I mean was a not a gourmet buffet, but not terrible. The staff very nice, great attitude. The room was clean when we arrived and every day all the room was ready for your return. The room have a safe or in the reception they can keep your values safe. Finally the size is good for 2 persons and maybe a 2 years old kid, if you have a big family, you will have to ask for more rooms or maybe this will not work for you. In the bed can sleep mom, dad and one chill.

The bathtub. The problem is because personally I think the bathtubs are dangerous, and this ones have other issues, is very small for a guy with measures like 1.85m and 90kg. And the problem is that the bathtub haven't a proper glass curtain so after your bath the bathroom is a mess with water everywhere in the floor. I think they need to change that only for a shower.

Great shower, comfortable beds. Clean hotel. Easy to catch buses and metro. Good breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.

The TV is only in spanish. Subtitles are spanish too! Subtitles should at least have an english option. Need more channels, such as Netflix, and definitely a news channel in english. Breakfast- need fresh eggs, boiled or scrambled. The same spanish omlet each day, gets tiresome.

Excellent Location. Next door Metro. Next door Lidl and Mercadana. Great food places - next door. A great pizza shop right opposite. Train station within 15 mins. Excellent facilities. Excellent staffs, especially at the reception which is manned by some superwomen. English speaking staff.

Everything, except the choice of breakfast was limited

Rooms are very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable! The breakfast has lots of choice and was good. I have stayed here a few times now and the staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble - thank you!

Free parking in the neighborhood was plentiful if you don't mind walking a bit. Pay-for parking was also available. The desk and breakfast staff were very welcoming and attentive. The bed was very comfortable and the room provided a lovely stay. The surrounding area was quiet and residential with a Mercadona and a Lidl right next door for buying snacks or a light no-cook meal. There was a refrigerator in the room. The breakfast was affordable and buffet style- very nice selection.

The price may be competitive to Madrid, but compared to the rest of Spain, it was a bit high. "Out of the way" can mean quiet and/or inconvenient. We had a car and bicycles, so it was not a problem to visit tourist sites. We enjoyed the neighborhood feel.

Everything with a highlight being the extremely friendly and professional reception staff. We were able to leave our bags in the storage which was greatly appreciated. The location was excellent in terms of access from airport, only 19 mins, and access to metro and a range of buses.
