The location was good for us. We booked the hotel to be close to the Madrid Mutua Open Tennis competition and also to be close to a metro station that would take us directly to the center of Madrid. The room was clean and spacious. We liked the format with a bedroom and a living room containing a small kitchen. The breakfast was good, but it lacked a little variation from day to day. The staff was friendly and helped us with every request.

The plumbing of the bathroom sink was not working very good, it took quite some time for the water to drain (15 minutes at times). The room didn't have an AC unit, and the room got quite warm during the day. Luckily, the evenings were cold enough that an open window did the trick.

This is overall perfect hotel: - great location, 15 min by metro to Sol, direct line; - close to food marts like Lidl; - modern and very functional rooms; - cherry on top: amazing roof top swimming poll; - gym with dumbbells (though variety could be better) - functional kitchen and nice balcony

The view: in our case we were facing some road and abandoned dirty area from the 3rd floor. Views must be awesome from top floors. And some junk yard area from the other side of the hotel.. This is minor though. I wish there was a toaster in the kitchen. Oh, one more: TV was not really functioning, I think the remote was broken.

The hotel is not located in the central area of Madrid, but this wasn’t a real issue thanks to the excellent public transport connections. Just a one-minute walk from the hotel, there is a metro station (line 3), which is very well connected to key spots like Gran Via and Plaza de España—just eight or nine stops away. The metro system is very efficient, so even though the location is not central, it was easy to reach the heart of the city in 15 to 20 minutes max. The staff was welcoming and friendly, and there was always someone at the reception. The room was clean and tidy. One thing to note is that access to the rooms is from the outside, through a kind of balcony or walkway. We were asked to pay a security deposit of €149. This was actually communicated to us a few days before our stay via message, so we were aware of it, even though it wasn’t clearly stated at the time of booking. At checkout, I expected someone to inspect the room with us, but instead, we just handed over the keys and left. The deposit was fully refunded later, but it would have felt more transparent if someone had checked the room with us before we left. The room itself was very clean, and we appreciated the small touches, like coffee capsules and dishwashing sponges. The bathroom setup was a bit particular: the toilet was in a separate space inside the room, while the sink and shower were placed openly in the room. This had the advantage of splitting the bathroom elements, but at the same time, it made the space feel slightly less private. All in all, despite the location being outside the city center, the great transport links made it feel very accessible.

Very neat and nice apart hotel is located 5 min walk from the metro station (Hospital 12 de Octubre) which brings one to Puerto del Sol station within 15 min. 20 -30 min from Barajas airport by taxi. We had a two level apartment with an internal elevator that really impressed us very much. The room is cleaned every day with the change of towels. Good blackout on the windows. A big supermarket is 5 min walk. We also had welcome water and coffee capsules. As well as toiletries. Staff is really nice and helpful. There is a small closed pool on the roof and 24/7 gym on the basement. It’s very quite to sleep (6 floor). There are no internal corridors - when you leave the room you find yourself in the open air long balconies with stairs (and an elevator as well). There is a breakfast offered (12 euro) but we never tried.

We would like more comfortable pillows. Also we wished we had a kettle and additional pots and bowls - though we never asked (may be it could be managed through the reception).

I had a big issue leaving the hotel on monday 08th. In early morning, when I was ready to check - out and leave the hotel, but before I had to get back a luggage hold in custody in the reception. There was nobody in the reception. Nobody of the staff was there. Doors were locked and I could not go out of the hotel neither. I had to scream. SCREAM LOUDLY trying to get anybody of the staff to attend me while chek-out and have my luggage back. VERY BAD SITUATION. Only after my repeated screaming, the person of the reception (a man) showed-up.

The facilities were really modern, clean and functional. The price was good considering other places in the city, and though it was not near the centre it was super easy to reach the main tourist areas by hopping on the number 3 metro. The staff were very helpful and check in and out was very easy.

It would have been nice to be able to lock the door of the room internally, and it was a shame the pool closed at 9pm as I arrived too late to try it. There was also not many facilities around the hotel - quite a quiet area.

Great apartment hotel. We had a duplex with a kitchen and a bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the first floor (with a washing machine) and a living room and a second bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the second floor. You could reach the second floor either through a private outside staircase or a private elevator (that could fit only 1 person at a time) in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped (good size refrigerator, microwave, stove top, dishwasher, plates and pots and pans). The breakfast was nice and they made omelets to order. The employees of the hotel were very nice and quick to respond to requests (eg. extra towels, ordering taxis etc). The location is very good. A 5 min walk to a metro station on the yellow line (3) which brings you to Sol. A taxi to the Palace cost just a few euros. Not a lot of restaurants around but a grocery store very close (5 min walk).

We had torrential rain during one day (Madrid had to close parks, roads were flooded so not a normal rain) and water was coming into the apartment first by the private elevator shaft then through both the front and back doors. As all the corridors of the hotel are outside, the corridor leading to our apartment was flooded and water was leaking in from under the door. The hotel staff put towels on the floor and mopped up water and tried to clear the corridor of water so we could leave the apartment without getting soaked. The next day the sun was out again and everything was back to normal.

- good value for money - equipped with dishes, glasses, fridge, electric stove, fans, Tv (did not open it), etc. - it was clean. The pool from the top floor is a plus (I did not have time to stay at the pool, just went to see it). - the balcony - the external blinds - there is a big supermarket near the hotel ( few minutes walking distance)

- no A/C. In the end of september it was ok, but in the summer I believe an AC would be needed. - a little bit far from center, but the subway is near and you can reach the center pretty fast. - there are some structures under construction in the back of the building. There was no noise during the stay, just not very pleasant visually - not such a problem and at the end it I believe that will like a spa or something similar. - no dish detergent nor sponge for washing the dishes

The toilet and shower are practically located in the bedroom behind glass partitions.We lacked intimacy when visiting the toilet.Also, the smells from the toilet and steam from the shower go straight into the bedroom.I would like to have a real wall in this place.
