Booking.com description and room size did not match the room I was given. Strong smell of drains in the bathroom.

The location is very convenient, clean and spacious room.

On line check in did not work well. The cleaning service came at 9.00 in the morning and was not happy that the room was not free yet. She was almost waiting outside the room, putting pressure on us to leave the room

The location is fantastic if you are looking for a typical neighborhood, not very touristy but still well connected to everything. We love the market across the street and the different bakeries and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment is clean and staff very responsive.

I have said it 2 years ago and will say it again: something needs to done about the drain pipes. You can’t really charge that amount of money and have any sort of bad smell whatsoever. In 2023 we were told it would be fixed, unfortunately it was not.

The location is excellent – conveniently close to Atocha centre, with less than a 20-minute walk, yet the area itself is wonderfully quiet and serene. I particularly appreciated the efficient communication via WhatsApp. Arranging an early check-in (paid) was remarkably straightforward and completed within 15 minutes.

The accommodation might use a storage water heater, which means that once the hot water runs out, you’ll need to wait 30 minutes for it to replenish. While I appreciate the use of such an energy-efficient system, it would have been better if guests were informed about this in advance. This is especially important during winter, as running out of hot water midway through a shower can be quite uncomfortable. Additionally, the bathroom lacked a towel rack or heating, making it feel very cold.

Great place. Close to 2 metro stations and train station. Huge apartament with everyrhing thats needed. Even more than needed. Phone charger, oldschool game console, water bottles that you can fill up. Contact with personel via Whatsup top tier. There is a loudry machine you can you on the ground floor. There is a central AC, but its not working in the bathroom so it might be cold in the winter time.

Spacious, clean, quiet apartment with friendly staff who are very responsive on WhatsApp to any queries or problems. Online checkin and checkout worked well, with early checkin available for a €10 fee, which helped us out on arrival. Teabags, coffee and a welcome snack were provided. Guest laundry on ground floor. They provide free luggage holding lockers that you can use at the beginning or end of your stay. Free use of local gym is provided, but I didn’t try it out.

The apartment location was not the best for exploring Madrid as it’s a bit outside the centre. Most things tourists want to see are a 15-min to 40-min brisk uphill walk from the apartment. If you are happy to walk a lot like we are, it is absolutely fine, but I wouldn’t recommend this location to tourists with little kids with you or limited mobility. It’s located on quite a busy, unattractive road was unfortunately a little worse for wear. We could open windows onto internal courtyards… that were covered with bird poo. One cupboard was held (almost) closed with a bunch of stickers, there was a tear in our bedsheet and the bathroom pedal bin was broken. Our teenager found the sofa bed to be quite uncomfortable.

The check-in and check-out process was smooth. The room was nice, and I appreciated having coffee and a French press. I was able to cook my breakfast with the utensils provided. The bed was okay, and I liked having a washing machine in the room. The location was good, just a 7-minute walk from the subway, and I also used the gym, which was convenient.

The shower cubicle was extremely small. I'm not a big person, and I could barely move inside. It's impossible to bend down to wash your feet because your back hits the faucet. Also, on some days, there was a strong smell of food inside the apartment, which was quite unpleasant.

A warm and comfortable studio apartment, with kitchen facilities, a washing machine and a clothes drying rack. Cafes, supermarket and market close by, also metro (Palos de la Frontera) and convenient bus services to art galleries, Royal Palace, Moncloa bus station, etc. Staff available via WhatsApp and always quick to respond. I was sent a numerical code via mobile on the day of my check-in, which allowed me to enter both the building and my apartment. Breakfast downstairs (Cafe Gloria) was convenient and quick, and the apartment was also provided with coffee and biscuits. Located on a busy street, but double glazing and shutters kept out almost all traffic noise.

Some maintenance issues, to which staff were quick to respond. No microwave, and it took me a while to work out how to use the convection cook top. A little noise from people moving about upstairs and outside in the corridor, but not too obtrusive.

Flat was comfortable and warm. Soundproofing was good, which is useful as flat is in busy area. arrangements to get in were easy. Very good food shops across the road, and a cafe underneath. About 10 minutes walk from rail/bus station and the nearest metro station. The apartment is a bit off-centre ,but we had no difficulty walking to all the main attractions from the flat. We were 8 euros for a taxi from the station to the flat.

There are 2 parallel methods of communicating with Bob, one on WhatsApp and one by email. Use the WhatsApp , the email team are like their apartments..rather casual.

They thought about everything that a traveler might need. I loved that they offered me a crib and a high chair for my baby. I like that the kitchen included amenities such as detergent, new dish sponge and laundry pods. If need fresh towels or additional amenities you can grab them from the common room. They also provided a tote bag and an old video game console. They also had ground coffee to brew you a cup of coffee as soon as you got to the room and reusable water bottles to drink tap water. The location could not be more perfect. A 5 minutes walk to a subway station, 10 minutes walk to a train station. A large produce market across the street which includes a Mercadona (supermarket). A coffee store next to the building which made it very convenient to go down to grab a coffee. A lot of good restaurants in the vicinity, pizza, ramen, Spanish food of course, even Thai, you choose. You can even walk to Plaza del Sol (30 min walk) or to El Retiro (15 minutes walk). We loved it so much that next time we are in the city, this will be the first place we will check for availability.
