The room was spacious for that range of price. The housekeeping was well done. The room's TV had subscriptions of many services like Netflix and Amazon Prime. The staff themselves were friendly and helpful.

The staff are not always available even during the afternoon on working days. This was a bit inconvenient for me as I could not check-in normally. The building has no lifts and I had heavy bags so I had to take the stairs which weren't ergonomically designed. I almost fell from them many times. Also the building is uphill so if you are carrying heavy things or bags, the place will be hard for you to stay. The nearest station (Plittersdorf Straße) is not as close as I thought it to be. You have to do a lot of walking and cross road intersections and traffic lights.

The room has a romantic look, it is perfect for a city break getaway. As the breakfast is served inside the room, the balcony is a plus as you can have an enjoyable breakfast. Other pluses: amazing bed, clean room, enough deposit spaces, location (a lot of green and nice houses nearby, the city centre easy to reach by car or public transportation), friendly and helpful staff.

We did not like the coffee, which was instant coffee. The internet did not work, even though we had all the details in the room in order to connect, the internet connection could not be establish. To mention on booking.com that the hotel does not have parking spaces, but that you can park on the streets nearby and that the hotel has self-checking after a certain hour. Maybe a minifridge will be a good addition, especially during hot summer days to have cold water waiting for you at the hotel.

Comfortable, clean, spacious, modernly furnished and equipped room. Very generous breakfast served punctually in the room at the requested time. Pleasant location next to a park with a castle (hence the name Burgblick = castle view). In the neighborhood there are several Syrian restaurants serving tasty food at reasonable prices. The suburban railway station is within walking distance.

As I don't eat savory food in the morning, I would have preferred to be given a choice of breakfast items (in order not to waste the ham and cheese I made a sandwich for lunch). The stairs are narrow, which didn't bother me but might be a problem for some people with heavy luggage. The instructions for obtaining the keys and entering the hotel are not clear for non-German speakers, and should be provided in advance.

The Hotel doesn't have it's own parking so you have to find street parking, which can be difficult especially as it's on a steep hill There is no lift, so you will have to take all your luggage yourself potentially to the 3rd floor via twisting stairs (which is what we had to do - just something to consider if you are travelling with a lot of luggage and/or baby etc)

Everything was fine - room, personnel, breakfast! Keep up the good work! Next time we know where to find the best place to stay in Bonn. Burgblick is the best value for money - organisation, location. reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Something should be done to arrange parking slots. The absence of the parking slots creates additional load of checking car. It is understandable that it is a rather tricky task due to Winterstrasse landscape, but it is necessary at least to think about this issue.

It may not look great from the outside, but they did a really great job on renovating and redecorating the rooms. my room was very clean, new bathroom, nice bed and a couple of comfy chairs. it was also very quiet. breakfast was brought up to my room. check-in worked well via mobile phone.

The pillows were a bit hard.

Very nicely newly renovated. Breakfast was brought to the room, which at first I found a bit unusual. But it was brought with a very friendly smile, was plentiful and beautifully presented. The location is fairly close to the museums, so we will stay here again, no doubt.

The pillows were incredibly firm, a bit softer would have been nice.

Bed was amazing. Best ever mattress and pillow. Breakfast was delivered to the room at a preagreed time. This was probably because the breakfast room had not yet been set up. It was nothing fancy, but more than enough. Huge shower. Modern decor, which was tasteful. .

Was strange to have to call a mobile number on arrival to gain access to the building. ( A code was given, and on entering this into a keypad, a small door in a box at the hotel entrance swung open. Behind this were the keys).It was impersonal but served its purpose. Check out took time. Personnel preferred English, although there the comprehension was equally minimal. Very friendly, though.

Beautiful room, staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't order a cot for our 16 month old and they put one together for us with bedding when we arrived! Fantastic breakfast and having the table in the room meant we had somewhere to eat in the evening, too.

It's further from the city centre than expected but we did try to walk there along the river! Would either leave more time or take the tram. Very close to a good park and river, though.

Very helpful and friendly staff, especially Iwona who extended extra hospitality when i could not bring my heavy bag to the attic room and when i forgot my cosmetic bag behind.

No lift to the upper floors, only a narrow winding staircase.
