The staff were all lovely and helpful. The room was spacious enough overall. The coffee machine in the room was great!

The beds were so hard!! They needed a soft mattress topper as it was really difficult to sleep. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work and it got very hot when someone had a shower. There needed to be a selection of coffee pod brands; Starbucks coffee pods are terrible! The carpark should be lockable with a garage door so only guests can access it. We were concerned about our car being broken into with all the 'Leave Your Car At Your Own Risk' signs everywhere.

Location and parking super easy. My first stay and only 1 night. Very convenient to have a bistro downstairs (with variety of options on menu) as I was a late arrival. Similarity, the on site breakfast suited my travel schedule. Room was much larger than expected. Great to have easy access to a clean steam iron and a good sized board that fits trousers. Complimentary in-room beverages appreciated.

Thinking the room was too cold, I inadvertently turned a/c on only to find I couldn’t turn it off. As reception was closed and there was no ‘how to’ info, I solved it by switching the a/c fuse off overnight.

The property was great. Clean and rooms were spacious enough. The bowling and restaurant attached were great. The staff were all super friendly.

The cot I got for my 1 year old was so wobbly. Cute bedding. The pillow was a cushion I think, so small in size but super thick and chunky and hard. So I swapped it for one of my pillows which was better, but because of the wobbling and the squeaking noise my son decided it was a rocker (it literally swayed that much) so took him out and he slept in bed with us. I highly recommend updating the cot to something more safe (I’m not fussy, a cots a cot, but this was very structurally unsafe)

The whole experience was very positive for the most part. I had the best sleep I have had in a very long time. The presentation of the property was clean, bright, exceptionally comfortable, and quiet.

As a person who uses walking aids. I did not like having to ask for assistance with my bags. At the risk of a fall, I battled independently, on departure, rather than, ask yet again, for help. I had prearranged assistance, yet it wasn’t automatically considered. Regrettably, my evening meal, of steak, was average. Certainly compared, to the quality of the local product, I am able to purchase, when I am in my home town. The salad was swimming, in it’s dressing. The meal satisfied my hunger, but not much else.

The room was very clean and neat. The bed was super comfortable. Reception was friendly and helpful. We couldn't initially find the remote to the telly and they were quick to find a replacement. Location was easily accessible. The onsite restaurant was nice and affordable as well.

We did note that you could hear the outside noise from other stayers but I guess we're just used to staying at a hotel next to an airport and the rooms are super sound proof.

Room was great for us. Had everything we needed. Clean and spacious. Our TV played up a bit and had interference of some sort so turned it off at times. Told reception on checkout and they were going to check it. Bed a little firm for me but that's a personal preference. Restaurant was lovely and enjoyed both our meals there. Parking was easy and no fee. Mantra is next to the Reading cinema which is very convenient also. Would recommend this hotel.

We booked a girls trip visiting Melbourne/ Traralgon to see a friend of ours and we are so sooooo happy we booked the Mantra. Staff Were fantastic, the room was gorgeous and the bed was SO comfy! Breakfast was lovely too and the space on location for us to park the hire car made everything very easy and smooth. Night one we even had a little drink at the butter factory. Even though we have free accom at our friends we will booking mantra in the future :)

Everything was great!

Sparkling clean. Lovely new fit out and decor. Great location. Room had great amenities including free underground parking and easy access to rooms. Chromecast to TV was great. The beds and bedding were lovely and super comfortable. We loved the hotel and enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was overpriced for what turned out to be a continental breakfast. And it was a bit of a let down from the rest of the hotel that was really lovely. The main item seemed to be preprepared Toasted sandwiches, but both kinds contained pork. No vegetarian option and no non-pork option. No kitchen staff to help. It was basic and lacked some thinking around guest diversity. The fruit salad wasn’t fresh and had gone a bit soft.

Aircon didn't work well, no instructions in the room or after scanning the guest services QR code, staff were unavailable to come and look at it for us although did try to help when we went down to reception. Slow check in due to issue with another customer's booking and only one staff member on duty (she was lovely, kind and patient and handled the situation very professionally)

The hotel was lovely and clean. Staff were helpful. Free parking with internal access to rooms was very good. Individual heating and cooling in room. Coffee machine. Good size shower. I would stay again on future trips to Gippsland.

We pre ordered the breakfast package with room. It did not mention it was only a continental breakfast. No cooked breakfast available. The breakfast was in a tiny corner of the hotel near reception. Not in the Butter Factory restaurant. It was the only disappointing aspect of our stay. The receptionist refunded our pre payment. We had to eat elsewhere in Traralgon.
