We loved the welcome we received from the staff members (every single person working at Hotel Siena in Verona was professional, practical, kind and genuine; clearly happy to be there which is so rare and wonderful!) We loved the room and bathroom (spacious, immaculate, practical, good beds, fine pillows, lovely bathroom, very clean) the efficient way the hotel is run. Breakfast good (you can choose - sit inside or in garden with plants/flowers and violet coloured napkins - clean and attention to practical detail) ; I loved the cheese, the rolls, the Italian cornetti and the fresh fruit. There was toast too and ham and / or mortadella, jam, cereals, milk there were yoghurts & muesli and sunflower seeds and chia seeds etc. (cake as well and Italian savoiardi) The coffee was good. Plus, in the hall near reception there is a vending machine with coffee and hot chocolate and hot water etc. (0.60 cents each) and there is a fridge with water, beer etc. the price can be added onto your hotel bill (bottle of water 1 euro e.g.) When you arrive early or leave later than 11 am you can leave your luggage in a special luggage room. There are toilets next to this room. There is a supermarket around the corner (Pam local) and down the road (Marconi) there is a pizzeria (Pizzeria Bella Napoli) with a fine terrace outside and delicious pizza, gnocchi al Bolognese, simple side salad, and the perfect spritz al' Aperol. The location was obviously fantastic too, but everyone else has already mentioned this. Verona is super! We also took the train to Venice one day from the train station (Verona P.N. - trenitalia has the cheapest tickets as far as I know, 10 euro there and 10 back per person, no need for high-speed tickets; check which days tourists have to pay the new city tax). Went to Torri del Benaco, a beautiful village (Lake Garda) by bus - bought tickets at the bus station in front of the train station. Opera tickets in roman arena: bought in arena, super.
We liked everything!!!

It is located right between the train station and the historic center, so not a long walk on either direction. The hotel is simple but it was a comfortable stay. The room was clean and had a good size, and the staff was helpful. The bed is a bit too hard for my taste, but we noticed this to be a pattern in this region of Italy, so perhaps just a local pattern and a matter of individual preference. Great staff, very friendly and helpful!

Hotel Siena was an easy walk from the train station . It is a great basic hotel. In a great location to easily walk to the arena . Spotlessly clean, and a very good breakfast included with a coffee machine that made whatever you wanted ( and good coffee too). We had a room facing the street with a little balcony. Housekeeping came every day. Reception staff were very helpful and suggested some great restaurants.
The only thing that wasn’t so good ( and not the hotel’s fault ) were the workmen mending the street outside who started drilling at 7.30 am !! So early !! If I visited again I would also probably pop in my travel kettle as I did miss making a hot drink in my room , but such a minor thing . I would definitely return.

Staff exceptionally helpful throughout from arrival to departure. The hotel describes itself as 'budget', but is better than that. The location on the outskirts of the City is ideal. 10 minutes in one direction to Old Verona Centre (lovely city) and 10 minutes the other way to the Railway and Bus Stations for easy visits to Venice, Vicenza and Lake Garda. Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity as well at a variety of prices.
No Tea / Coffee Making facilities in the rooms and we had a slight problem with drainage which - when reported - was sorted promptly by the hotel. Very minor quibbles in truth.

Excellent location - close to Piazza Bra and the Arena - (around a 10-12 minute walk) also close to the Castelvecchio (similar distance on foot) , lots of amenities near by (a PAM local supermarket about two min walk from the hotel), restaurants and bars, and best of all, opposite (in our opinion) the best Gelateria in the city :) Room was modern and larger than expected, with air conditioning! Staff friendly and professional Highly recommended
It was all very good!

The friendly staff was very welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure. We enjoyed the breakfast. There was a good, basic selection, including fresh fruit. The location was both close to the train and to the main attractions. It was quiet at night.
It exceeded our expectations. The description said it had AC, but we were unable to control the thermostat. It did cool down after we opened up the windows for a bit. It would be nice to have cups in the room for water.

The location was excellent. We got the bus from Bardolino and got off the bus at Via Valverde and it was a very short walk to the hotel + which had excellent signage so we could see it even though we weren’t standing on Via Marconi. Check in by Martina was very swift and professional. We arrived before the usual check in time so we left our luggage in the locked bag store and went to explore. Martina gave us a map and pointed out the location of the hotel and so we set off to explore. Verona is a beautiful city and we loved it and really enjoyed our stay. We went to the Opera di Verona on the Sunday evening and that was magical. The hotel dining room was not able to accommodate us for breakfast at an additional cost of 9 Euros so we just ate out each day as there are plenty of places to get food in the locality. Depending on which part of the Centro you wanted to be would decide if you turn left or right out of the hotel. Either way it was only a ten to fifteen minute walk and was very easy to find our way around. There was a fridge in the lobby with cold drinks for purchase and they were very reasonably priced. Also, there was a coffee machine which offered a variety of coffees for only 60 cents - and, for vending machine coffee they used capsules which impressed us. The hotel and our room was very clean. Visibly, instantly and obviously clean. Which is what I like to see upon entering an establishment. The room we had had a small balcony which was delightful to sit outdoors. The room was adequate, a bit small but since were used to cabins on a cruise ship that didn’t matter at all. The room was serviced every day. In my personal opinion, I found the mattress a bit too hard but that’s just my preference. I always think that the $64m question is 'would I stay there again?' and the answer would be 'yes'.
I found the mattress a little too hard for my liking. But that is personal preference.

Room is small and simple, but clean and organized with everything needed for a few days' stay. Equipped with AC, hairdryer and TV, also bath complementaries. Staff is very nice and supportive, also reception available 24h. Location is strategic, in the middle between the train station and Arena di Verona, like 10 minutes of walking distance. There's also an option for breakfast in the morning, which, unfortunately, I couldn't try as it mismatched my schedule.
Please note that you'd need an Italian plug adapter. I managed to buy one in a supermarket (Eurospar) only 10 minutes away from the hotel.

Very convenient for the rail station for onward departure and ease of arrival from airport. My single room was very basic, but perfectly clean including small bathroom all in good working order. Aircon worked fine and full shutters on window helped to keep temperature down whilst out. No tea or coffee maker in room, but a cheap drinks machine on ground floor which was fine. Breakfast had a good choice and it was nice to be able to eat in pretty courtyard. Short walk into the main tourist area of town. Staff pleasant and helpful.
Nothing, given the low price.

We stayed here only one night and without having breakfast, so my feedback is based only on one time sleeping 😄. But overall everything was really good. The staff is polite. The room looks exactly like it's in pictures, so no worries for that. The room is clean, the wifi signal and speed is strong enough. The location is also awesome, you could easily walk to all famous places. So highly recommended.
Pillows are not very comfortable. But this is the second time I'm having such pillows in Italy, so maybe it's Italian pillow style and I'm the freak here 🤷🏻♂️
