Close proximity to the boardwalk

Just one elevator for guest and the living room furniture was not very comfortable to sit on! Way too low once seated, difficult to get up and out of the coach and cushion chairs!

The room was unexpectedly large and easy to stretch out and relax. The a/c was very cold and the beds were very comfy. The tv's were a bit larger than expected which was very nice. The mini kitchen had everything from cabinets with dishes, utensils, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot and an electric stove. I have to say I was blown away never seeing so many amenities in a kitchen before. This location was right next to the boardwalk and right in the middle of all the attractions you can have a fun day with. And the beach was just on the other side of the boardwalk plus plus....

The one drawback I have from giving a perfect 10 was the bathroom. It was a bit small in size containing only a toilet and shower bathtub. Both fixtures were fine but the space to move around was tight once you get past the door that swings inside. I'm a fairly large man but I managed okay. And please change to rain shower heads. Your water pressure is weak but with a rain shower head it works better and you still save water. I have one at home and it was the best investment I made.

Location was close to the beach, the kitchen was nice to have to prep lunches. the decor was very beachy.

The parking was tight, but manageable, except that some cars had bike or luggage racks that jutted out, making it impossible to maneuver into the parking spots across from their vehicles. I would recommend that management require that they remove the bikes/racks if parking in the lot. Beach tags are included in the price of the room, but when we arrived, they didn't have any to give to us and suggested that we check the next day. The next morning, there were still no tags available, and we had to wait for someone to check out. This was an inconvenience - we changed our plans for the day to wait for the badges. I'm not sure how they handle it when the hotel is at full capacity. But all in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others.

Right on the boardwalk. Very clean and recently remodeled. Very nice staff. Very nice pool. Can soft check-in and park at 11:00. Beach tags included. Table in main area is nice and lots of kitchen utensils to work with. Overall, a very nice place and I would stay again.

No outside shower. Hose was by pool which is up a level and awkward to walk through with people swimming. Also, it’s not always open so sandy feet in the morning can’t be washed. No extended parking day you leave. Pretty far down the boardwalk. Great place but more of a corporate feel and we were used to more of a bed and breakfast feel. Coffee and tea off at 12:00. Room for 6 was pretty crowded just by layout and bathroom was extremely tiny. We still. Had a great time though!

The location was perfect - we were happy to pay for proximity to the beach, with parking and beach passes included in our stay. We had storms while there, with a power outage; so the staff went above and beyond to make sure there was still coffee (and added donuts!) from an outside source since coffee couldn't be made in the lobby. We were minimally affected by the outage because a generator must have kicked in, which took care of powering the necessities (cooling, some lighting, fridge...) It was a great stay, and the atmosphere of the hotel was laid back, friendly & everything was clean. I'll definitely book here again!

Location was great and the room, for the price, was perfect for the amount of people we had. It accommodated a larger amount of people while having more room to spare. Bonus points having a kitchen area. Little game supplied that the kids utilized greatly. Air conditioning worked wonderfully. Clean and updated rooms were super appreciated too. Staff was SUPER helpful and friendly - especially evening shift male with glasses (my apologies I forget his name).

Only thing I disliked - only 1 elevator for the whole place. With the little kids, plus wagons/beach gear, it was hard waiting a fair amount of time for it. I'm also terrified of elevators so this may be a "me" problem and not the facility.

I have been staying at Ocean 7 for years, I love it. Conveniently located by the boardwalk and steps away from the beach. Everyone is super friendly and the room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had all the necessities dishes, silverware, pots, pans, microwave, refrigerator and even dish soap and sponges.

I told the front desk 2x during my stay about the refrigerator not being cold enough and it needed to be defrosted and it was causing a leak on the floor but nothing was done about it. I kindly reminded them at check out so hopefully it would be fixed for the next guest.

The location is top notch, so close to the beach/boardwalk and super clean. It was also great to have a pool at the location, although it was heated at the time and felt more like a bathtub. The beds were comfortable and there was maid service every day to take out the trash and replenish with fresh towels.

The induction stovetop was difficult to cook on (I guess there is a trick???) or the pots supplied were not the correct ones. We used the microwave a lot more than expected. There is no dishwasher, but they did supply a tiny sized soap and sponge. I asked ahead of time about the coffee maker vs. keureg, and we had to go out an buy coffee filters. I think that should be supplied for the price. We left the filters for the next folks!

This is a very nice place to stay. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice and many were in it. The staff is extremely pleasant in addition to housekeeping which is rare in other places I have stayed. The location is excellent if you like to go to the boardwalk....literally, steps away!

There are only 2 things that would keep you from booking this hotel. The parking spots are extremely close together. If you have a small car or a SUV crossover, you'll be fine. Any other vehicle would be challenging unless you are lucky enough to get an outer spot. The other reason would be the price. I think overall it is a nice place but more expensive than it should be for what you get.

The hotel is steps from the boardwalk and beach. The rooms were very clean and cutely decorated. The room had some glasses, dishes, utensils and things to clean them with (including a dishwasher). There was a small fridge. Parking and beach tags were included.

Due to there being 2 beds, the bigger bed was right against the AC. The room was right at the pool door (though have to admit, it was not exceptionally noisy, just distracting with people walking by all day). I'd ask for a room higher up next time due to the view (backs of the boardwalk restaurants).
