Excellent location right in the heart of Hampankatta, Mangalore and well-known by auto and taxi drivers. It was easy to get to other areas of Mangalore. Our room was on the sixth floor and had an excellent view of the city. The room was comfortable and clean. The restaurant was exceptional. There is a wide variety of dishes and drinks for breakfast. Eggs and dosas are made to your liking and cooked fresh on the spot. The dinner is just as delicious. We highly recommend the Mangalorean roce curry. And you must try the Mangalorean coffee - it’s like velvet. The laundry service was exceptional. We were shocked when our t-shirts came back clean and nicely pressed and packaged as if they were brand new! The attention to details such as this is an example of the high standard of service at every level. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional. The staff are delightful and will go out of their way to attend to your needs. They are thoughtful, professional, efficient and always greet you with a smile. The chef even comes out to speak to guests to ensure they are satisfied! We had such a pleasant stay and were sad to leave. The lift is very slow and takes so much time to come. The outside of the property has some maintenance and painting. From the pictures the room looks amazing but in reality its not The flooring of the room is damaged and also the tv is not a smart tv, the rooms needs an upgrade.

Our nearly 2 week stay at Goldfinch was excellent. We have been coming to this hotel since 2012, whenever we visit Mangalur from the US. The staff are excellent and once they know our routine, they remembered it and they followed it very well to keep us comfortable.

At the entrance of the hotel, there should be a railing to assist elderly guests to climb the stairs. This is something that should be looked at immediately.

Food. The hotel should look into providing vegetarian friendly options. The restaurant was smelling with fish and as vegetarian we were facing great difficulty in having our dinner. They can make some changes in the restaurant so that vegetarian people can also eat with comfort.

Restraunt ambience was not good. Furniture were old Quality of food to be improved . Food waiting time more than expected. Tea was not good to taste . FOOD QUALiTY HAS TO BE IMPROVED. Not in par with other 4 and5 starhotels

They have exceptionally delicious sea food. The staff is very courteous and friendly. We had a meal at the hotel’s restaurant on the eighth floor. No complaints

The hotel is not pet friendly. So though we booked at the hotel, we could not and did not stay there. That just a part of their policy though so no offence. 😊😊 and no complaints

The location is amazing, the food was excellent (one of the best breakfasts I've had) and the staff is quite helpful. The restaurant was really good.

Few snags like the furniture seems a bit old (with chipped corners), the bathroom floor is not bent towards the drain so the bath water stays on the floor.

The hotel staff wer good and the service too mainly the food was awesome and was available 24/7 other than the breakfast of course . Overall a great experience and it is in a prime location so all the nearby attractions are a small cab away. Highly recommend the stay here.

There wer no bathrobes and the slippers even if they wer mentioned in the booking details. Also don't take the lower floor rooms as it would be annoying how much the traffic would invade you conversation.

Room service is at point and the best part of the hotel is the food it serves a bit costly but fills your hear and your soul to the brim.would suggest to add a few bathrobes to the room as there are none.other than all that it was a great experience would be my choice for the next visit for sure.

Bathrobes should be available and a few extra toiletries also there wasn't a plug beside my bed only one on my partners side but other than that all great

The Property is located near the city center with shops and malls around. The Property has also good number of restaurants within the property. The room is descent sized with all facilities. The breakfast spread was good. Overall had a great experience with the property.

The check-in experience was not very great as i missed the empathy from reception. Nothing else
