The location was perfect. It is located on a quiet dead-end street, facing an empty field, surrounded by lots of trees, and views in every direction. The Passions Theater is a short walk away and so is the central part of town. The location is walkable to shopping, dining, and seeing the sights. It is also a reasonable drive to nearby castles and other tourist attractions and activities. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with all of our concerns and questions. The unit we stayed in was roomy and equipped with everything we needed during our stay. Highly recommend!

Everything was great! The property has free parking, excellent rooms, very clean property as a whole & great breakfast - lots of options for it! Owners are great, super friendly & gave us lots of recommendations. Awesome view from the room, its much bigger than it is in the photos.. and nicer! Very close to the centre, 3 mins walking. There are super market nearby and gas station. Totally recommend it & if we will visit again, this property will be our first option to stay! Extra: it has sauna as well which you can use if you mention it to the owners!

The location was perfect for all the activities we wanted to do in the area, and was walkable to some lovely restaurants and shops too. The room was spacious and comfortable, and whilst a little too warm for our comfort initially, a word with our hostess enabled us to get it turned down. Our hostess was friendly and informative and always around without being intrusive. The breakfasts were very generous - lots of delicious breads, cheeses, ham, eggs, cereal, yoghurt and you were encouraged to make up a bread roll to take with you for lunch which we really appreciated. It was excellent value for money and we would definitely stay there again.

Only the room temperature but that was soon sorted out. The duvets were very thick and fluffy which were lovely, but a sheet underneath would have helped our temperature regulation.

Location was great. The kitchenette was well furnished and the entire place was clean as can be. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was spacious and the shower was wonderful (no temperature or pressure fuxuations).

Would have liked a little bit more interesting view from the balcony but can't have everything.

We had a fantastic stay at Gästehaus Neu. The apartment was spotlessly clean and decorated in a lovely modern style with very comfortable beds and a lovely modern bathroom with large shower and kitchen. with everything you need. We stayed in the Laber room which was a great size with two balconies and a separate kitchen room. The kitchen was fully equipped and perfect for making breakfast every morning and dinner one evening. There is free parking provided on street and the onsite sauna was also a great added extra after a long walk (for a small extra fee). The hosts were very friendly and helpful with advice on the local area and as we stayed over Easter weekend, the Easter bunny even left us some chocolate outside our door which was very kind! The guesthouse is only a 5 minute walk into the main town centre. Oberammagau was the perfect location for our alpine stay, a very lovely traditional town small enough that you felt away from it all but still with enough bars and restaurants to enjoy and supermarkets, petrol station, chemist etc to meet your needs. It also has a lot of trails, walks and lifts available from the village itself to get into the mountains but is well connected by road and rail to get other locations such as nearby Garmisch and Zugspitze Mountain and is only an hour and half from Munich. If you’re considering staying here don’t hesitate! We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Thank you!

The room was newly updated and very nice but space was very limited and nothing to sit, relax or hang out. A small table to accompany the 2 chairs in the room would be very helpful

The room, bathroom, and breakfast area were all clean, bright, and cosy. The breakfast was simple yet satisfying and the location of the home was perfect.
