The hotel is very close to the Verona Porta Nuova railway station (no more than 5-8 minutes' walk, of course depending on how much luggage one has) and within walking distance of the city centre (the Arena and Piazza Bra are about 20 minutes' walk from the hotel). The room I was in was very spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom (with large, fluffy towels and nice add-ons, like the complimentary room slippers). The buffet breakfast was extremely nice and very abundant, with a large selection of delicious food, both sweet and savoury, together with fresh fruit, cereals, patisserie... the works! Last, but by no means least, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. A perfect place to stay in Verona!

I could not find anything wrong or that I disliked in this hotel. Indeed, there is the risk that one may enjoy so much staying at the hotel that they might forget to go and visit Verona!

We booked this hotel with the knowledge it would just be a base for our train hopping around cities. The hotel was just a small 5-10 minute walk to the main puorta nova station and around 10-15 minutes walk to the main arena area.The staff were very helpful and friendly dealing with any requests we might have had. The breakfast had a reasonable selection ( especially for those with a sweet tooth) and we enjoyed the setting for having breakfast. The room was a good size with comfy bed and plenty of storage.Bathroom was a good size with nice facilities. If we ever returned to Verona,we would stay here again. Grazie Mille

The accommodation and hotel itself was very nice. It was comfortable and always maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. The staff were exceptionally helpful and always available. The bar is not advertised as available but once finding this out we used this in the evenings for drinks, as the hotel is some distance from any bars or restaurants.

The location is very isolated from places to eat etc, and walking at night in unknown areas to get to areas of the main centre, can be intimidating and overwhelming. The Ark would benefit having its own evening restaurant operating as we witnessed a number of guests comment on difficulty finding anywhere closely to eat. The breakfast is mainly sweet carb options and processes meats; some may like it but it was a little to sugary for me when I was not feeling great.

I really liked the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was very nice as well. It is also very close to Verona Porta Nuova station.

The hotel was a bit further away from the city center, but I wasn't really bothered by having to walk for a bit to be able to reach the city center, because the walk was actually quite nice.

The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was impeccably clean throughout. Every morning for breakfast there was a great selection of hot and cold dishes. Also many choices of sweet pastries. Great location only 5 minutes from the train station and 10 minutes into the historical centre. Would definitely stay there again when in Verona

The room was modern, clean, warm, quiet and comfy. The staff was so kind. It is a very short walk to the train station and you can reach the city center in 10-15 minutes as well. Yes, as others mentioned, it is not a peaceful walk as you walk along and have to cross some main roads which is not the most relaxing part after a day in the center but its doable and no big deal. I would always choose this one again. It is perfect for a short stay in Verona.

Nice hotel, near the station. Clean rooms, a little small but containing everything you need, including a desk to work on and a good wifi. Nice bathroom with a very nice shower and despite being near a busy area the rooms are quiet. Finally the staff is helpful and they'll go an extra mile to help you with anything you may need.

We stayed at the hotel during the Arena di Verona Opera festival. We were looking for a hotel with parking for a car and the best ratio of price, service level and distance to the Arena. The hotel has its own underground parking at a price of 10 Euros. The walking distance to the Arena is 25 minutes. On the evening of the performance, we drove to the Arena by our car and left it at the Arena Car Park (Via M. Bentegodi) To the Arena - 400 meters, for 5 hours we paid 19 Euros. Spacious room with new furniture. Large and comfortable shower. Friendly staff. I took an iron from the reception. Good breakfast from 7 am. The hotel met our expectations and is a great option to stay during the festival.

Facilities great, location very good, breakfast selection was fabulous. Checkin staff and the person served us late at night on Friday was very good and friendly.

Lady on the day we left, I thought there was complimentary water setup for guests on the table as there was many glasses set up there and two bottles of water one still and one sparkling. I helped myself and husband to some water out of one bottle. She then shouted at me asking did I take two glasses. I apologised and advised I thought they were complimentary. Then as she walked away she shouted at me that next time I should ask and then came over with the bottle saying I might as well finish it as I was going to have to pay for it. Her attitude stunk and I made a genuine mistake. I did pay for the water but would not go back as for the sake of two glasses of water her customer care was disgusting.
