At first it seemed like it was going to be loud, but after it gets dark the street quiets down. We had Netflix but there was a problem with the sound so we had to watch it with no sound and subtitles but maybe that is why it was so quiet.

The guy that was working in the morning told me to take an Uber across town to catch a bus to Coban and he gave me the wrong directions and I shouldn't have listened to him because it cost me $20 to take a taxi down and back to get to the bus stop that was actually just a block away from the hotel!

Location is ten minutes away from Centro, the room is well equipped with large dresser and chair and two beds, they provide hot water and new towels or clean the room if you ask, they are friendly and professionals attitude, great TV with Netflix, Disney plus, TV and more, the bed is very good and there is hot water with good pressure the price is good for what you get

The bathroom is too small, but the shower is large the noise carry out from the room window and you can hear everyone talking like they in your room, there is noise in mornings , the WiFi stop for a day, you have to wait to buzz the door every time you go in or out

The friendly and helpful welcome of the staff even though we had language barriers, they went out of their way assisting me finding the next supermarket and cheap trip to Antigua. Once I checked out they kept my luggage free of charge until 8pm so I could go and visit Antigua until the departure of my bus. I really really appreciated that. Thank you so much.

The location is good for strolling around Zona 1...

The room that I was assigned to was tiny and could barely move around it, even the toilet space is really small for a tall or overweight person... The bed sheets were worn out and have seen better times in the past... Pillows are awful... Cost-benefit relationship non existent...

Central location, safe (during the day). We stayed here 5 nights, got a small, but clean twin beds in the corner of 2nd floor. Big fan, Hot water, can hang cloths, friendly cleaning lady, a small open terrace for smoking and sitting. No complain so far.

Very firendly and helpful staff. They partly speak English well. The rooms correspond to the price category. Partly small, no big luxury but they are equipped with everything needed and I felt comfortable during my stay. WiFi works very well with a good speed. Located in zone 1, there are restaurants and shops not far away.

I was able to store my Backpack so I could travel with a smaller backpack for a few weeks. I offered pay but they were good enough to let me leave it for free.

I wish there was a possibility to make my self a cup of coffee

Mario and Francisco, on reception, were super friendly and allowed us to store our luggage really early when we arrived off a night bus. Great value for money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The price is excellent. Good cleaning.

The staff at Hotel Metropolitano was excellent. All of them were friendly, helpful and were great friends during our stay! This hotel is perfect for both young and old families. We traveled with our elderly grandparents and every effort was made to make sure they were comfortable! Muchas gracias todos los del Hotel Metropolitano!
