I had a wonderful stay at this property in Guatemala City. One of the things I appreciated the most was its prime location—it's close to many great restaurants, making dining options easily accessible. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options that made every morning a great start to the day. The customer service stood out as well. The staff was welcoming, friendly, and attentive to every need, making the experience feel warm and personalized. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort of my stay. Overall, it was a pleasant and convenient place to stay, and I would definitely return!

Meraki was recommended to us as a simple place for an overnight stay at a good price. This is the 2nd time we have used it for that (flying into Guat City, with 2nd day flight to Puerto Barrios/Rio Dulce). It's great for that. The staff are very accommodating, and some speak good English. They arranged for car service from GUA and made sure we were picked up, even though the flight was really delayed. Good communication via WhatsApp. Unfortunately, early flights meant that we haven't been able to enjoy their breakfasts. As others mentioned; there is a good coffeeshop next door (shares the front patio).

A bit noisy bass thumping from another building nearby, but that's no fault of the hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located in Zone 10, centrally, practically across the street from the higher class shopping mall Fontabella Centro comercial, which also contains the best bookshop in Guatemala City. Great coffee shop next door, which does not belong to the hotel, but is adjacant. A small but nice room on the gound floor, as I requested. Excellent reading light, which is rare in the region. The staff is overall very friendly. Flawless wi fi signal 24 hours.

The room is noisy, the noise both inside and outside the room. The window only on the side wall, without any view. Difficult to get TV channels with news. The staff one morning forgot the wake up call which I requested.

My visit was very Short but Josué the front desk made sure our every needs were met. Being the fact that he spoke more and better English than the others made him ideal for outsiders. The location was great, pretty much in the heart of the restaurants,Mall, bars and clubs. Everything was within walking distance. I love the place.

Only thing I didn't like was the staff aren't bilingual except for Josué so when he's not working communication is a bit hard without your phone 😂 also the gate being close without you having a key 🗝️ and is only open by the doorman. My concern is what happens when he's not there?

The hotel is in a convenient location with access to shops and restaurants and quick travel to the airport. The staff are always helpful and friendly. the breakfast is traditional and quick. The rooms are clean and comfortable ( like European sizes). There is the ability to control the air conditioning in the room. Depending on the room, it can be very quiet and maybe romantic if in a room away from others.

The price feels a little expensive for the level of services. The neighbors can be a bit noisy. Overall completely fine.

Everything! The location is very convenient (near the airport, lots of restaurant/cafe/convenience store nearby), the staff really nice and the bedroom was so clean and comfortable! I loved how the bedroom was decorated as well. It was very quiet and I could sleep very well. The breakfast was also very good and the staff that morning were really nice as well. So I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The place is beautiful. The room was big and spacious. The restaurant entrance and courtyard are inviting and give the space a very calm feeling. I was so happy that the hotel was able to hold my luggage while I roomed around while my room was getting prepared. I was also so happy that they were able to hold my luggage overnight while I hike up Acatenango, it was very much appreciated

That I was only able to stay one night

The room was excellent and nicely decorated. The location was excellent as well with a very good coffee shop right next door. The privacy and security of the property was also top since they lock the gate at night so it feels more secure. The shuttle service was excellent as well, they arrived on time and got me to the airport very quickly.

A boutique without the price

The breakfast was ok. But, I would gladly pay for a more substantial breakfast. If Meraki offered a free breakfast menu and another for guests who would like a something a little more substantial. But, I realize that keeping the payroll as low as possible to maintain a boutique hotel and less than boutique prices, might mean sacrificing a full breakfast. So, I am still a grateful guest.

I own 2 hotels in Guatemala. Meraki is clean, Well run, all workers are friendly. The Wifi is excellent and the location is great. There is sushi, Chinese infusion, fondue restaurant and many more plus a large shopping mall all within 5 minutes walking distance. I used to stay at much more expensive hotels for years until Meraki opened, now I only stay at Meraki....For a single traveler or couple the rooms are perfect.
