Good location not far from the airport and friendly staff on-site.

There were issues with my airport transfer where no one showed to pick me up, so I had to uber. I tried to book it directly with the hotel in advance, but did not receive a response, so booked directly with Hyatt’s customer service chat, only for them to not communicate with the hotel (the fault for that part seemed to be on the chat person’s end). The hotel needs to do a better job of monitoring + responding to messages, and this would not have happened. On-site, they were very kind and apologetic for this mixup. Also, a small thing, but the ice machine on my floor wasn’t working.

Room was clean, modern and comfortable - it definitely tended more to an upbeat modern design. Bathroom was different to what I'm accustomed to (a specific "room"), as in this case it was replaced by a specific area for the toilet, an outside sink and a different area for the shower - which in hindsight, might make getting ready easier if two people want to get ready at the same time. Breakfast options were ample and inclusive in the buffet, including gluten free granola, different mils, keto diet options, local food, and more standard offerings.

This is a great hotel! I wouldn’t expect anything less from a Hyatt so no real surprise there. It feels much more generic than some of the more boutique hotels we stayed at in Guatemala that really gave you a feel for the culture and architecture of the country, but everything felt new, looked high end, and was tastefully decorated. We arrived in the late morning (around 11) and even though check-in is at 3pm they got our room ready for us quickly and allowed us to check in early (at no extra charge) after just a slight delay. This was completely unexpected and amazing! Other pluses about this hotel: The neighborhood it is in (Zona 10) felt safe to walk around in at night, the rooftop lounge and pool are gorgeous, the restaurant food is pretty good (and there is a decent selection of vegetarian options), and there are motion activated lights by the bed that provide a little bit of illumination without lighting up the whole room if you get up in the middle of the night. The rooms are quite large with huge windows and the shower had good water pressure. Lastly, the hotel throws an awesome New Years Eve Party! The restaurant had a fantastic buffet and live entertainment, and then up on the roof there was a DJ and drink service.

There is no door between the bathroom and bedroom and the bed is right beside the half wall that the sink is up against so if you are up early getting ready the light and sound from the sink area will likely wake up anyone still in bed. Also, rather oddly, the room did not contain a safe (there was a mini-fridge though!). Lastly, be warned that the elevator doors close very quickly and do not appear to contain a sensor as one started to close on me and did not spring back open when it hit my arm.

Excellent location, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, which I loved. I also liked the different areas the hotel had.

The quality/comfort of the bedding did not match the room/hotel. Also, the room did not have a proper blackout curtain so light went through. The area of the pool at the terrace was not what I expected. The water was not warm (as I was told) and the view was not that good because the glasses surrounding it were very dirty.

A very nice hotel with great amenities. It is super clean, and the beds are super comfortable. The hotel has everything you need, so if you don't want to venture out, you don't have to. Seems to be a safe location.

Be prepared that everything costs a lot here. The drinks, the food. I'm pretty sure they lied about not having pizza, because it was the cheapest thing on the menu. If I hadn't been solo, I may have found food elsewhere. I was slightly concerned being in the city.

The rooms are new and big, the hotel’s facilities are good and well maintained. The restaurant is fine and the breakfast is great. The location is perfect as Zone 10 seems quite safe and there is a very good shopping center just next to the hotel (accessible by the main entrance) and with a lot of different good restaurants options. If you need to move around Guatemala City or you need to arrange business trips you can arrange everything through the front desk (highly recommended).

Fantastic room, facilities, location, food. We stopped overnight between vacation legs and it was the perfect decompression zone. The room was large and very well-styled. The swimming pool and decking area is beautiful, with outstanding views of the volcanoes across the country. Well laid out, plenty of sunbathing and shaded space and extremely well-maintained. We enjoyed several hours up there and only saw one other. Location linked to a mall with everything you could need at your doorstep. Excellent customer service and super-friendly staff. Can arrange anything for you including airport shuttle and shuttle to restaurants.

Beautiful hotel very well located. The pool is gorgeous and warm !!! We enjoyed every moment. One of the best breakfast I ever had for very long. The choice is incredible and the quality of the product is also very high. An ex, you have a real chunk of honey to get fresh honey from! Where in the world do you see that?

Nothing! It was perfect

This is our second time staying at this property. We love the location for several reasons. The place is clean, quiet, beautifully decorated (although I do have a bit of an issue with them having original Mayan pieces), great location, and excellent facility. We love being at the top of the property enjoying the beautiful view of the city and volcanos. The location is wonderful as one can easily walk everywhere and there are many wonderful restaurants.

Honestly, it is a great property if you are in Guatemala City. The location is super close to the airport and we truly enjoy being able to walk everywhere. Avenida Reforma has a great walking path and that was definitely one of the best parts of staying here.

Seemed like a fairly new hotel. Rooms were decorated in a modern way. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast has a good spread of options, both Guatemalan and continental. For a short stay in Guatemala City would defintely recommend.

Nothing specific. In my room some (white) noise from A/C system (room next to staircase). Not too bothersome for me, could be for light sleepers.
