The location was perfect - only a few-minute elevated train ride away from the YYZ terminals, and it's free and runs frequently. It also connects with the train that goes to the center of Toronto which was most convenient. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good pressure. All the staff were courteous and helpful.

Wish the hotel had a restaurant with a wider selection of food, especially for breakfast. Luckily, after checking out, we were going to fly out of YYZ, so we had our breakfast at the terminal. It would've been nice to have a small safe in the room.

The front desk staff were amazing. Friendly efficient, and helpful, but not too talkative. I love that. I was also very very, very impressed that when I found two different times, someone answered the phone immediately and I didn’t have to go through a long queue with multiple options. Thank you for that. The staff at the Little restaurant we had breakfast were just lovely friendly. They smiled at me when I came in. They said goodbye when I left just great service all around. And I had a croissant with smoked salmon for breakfast and it was amazing. Great job. I was very impressed by your facility and will go again and recommend it in the future.

Stayed twice in the last couple of weeks. First night maintenance staff showed up to replace black out curtains just after we had settled in. They were friendly, polite, and said they would return the next day to do the job. Later that evening a large aluminum frame from the window came crashing down. It was quite startling but did no damage. Our second stay the room was not equipped with a fridge and the bed was smaller than requested. The condiments provided at the coffee station in the room are inadequate. One sugar and 2 small creamers may not be sufficient for 2 coffees in most cases.

We stayed at the hotel prior to our departure for a family vacation out of the country. The train to get to the airport is one of the main reasons for choosing to stay at the hotel along with the availability of parking while we were gone. The rooms are nice and clean and the lobby and restaurant are very nice. The front desk staff are very nice. The house keeping staff are exceptional. We accidentally left an expensive item in our room and the hotel contacted us after discovering it and held it in a safe for the week until we came back. The house keeping staff could have easily kept the item without anyone knowing but they brought it back to our attention which I am so grateful for. Our return flight was also delayed by two days and the hotel did not charge us for the extra days of parking. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Easily accessible from the air Terminals on the inter-terminal train; that was welcome after a long flight. A quite large room with good views over the terminals and surrounding area. Excellent coffee machine in the room. The food and service in the cafe/restaurant on the ground floor were very good - I had breakfast, lunch and an evening meal there. Bathroom area well organised and efficient.

I could not at first find the coffee machine in the room. It is tucked away in an alcove which you would not necessarily think of inspecting. A sign on the desk might be helpful. Also, the reading light over the desk is not really bright enough for reading (if any guests have time for that).

Convenient restaurant open until 12:30/close proximity to Terminal 3/quiet. We have been staying at the Alt when travelling through Pearson International, since the Alt was first opened. It is pleasantly quirky but suits us well as we have travelled frequently over the years and this feels like a bit of a European experience, which we love.

While I like the European-style key-activated lighting, it does not allow for individual lights to be on unless all lights are on. Thus, one person reading using the convenient reading light requires that all lights in the room be on. How eco-friendly is that? Also, a night light in the bathroom should be mandatory in all hotels - there is not one at Alt. Older folks who might have to transition to the bathroom several times a night must navigate a room with which they are not familiar, with no light (or all lights). Very poor design feature.

I think the rooms were very modern and had a European feel to them. I like that look. I also liked the "ledge" in the bathroom to put ones toiletries on. It was spacious and worked very well. I was alone, but if my spouse had been with me, that ledge could easily have supported all of our toiletries. Also, this hotel had a bar / pizza oven right in the lobby, so it animated the lobby and was very convenient to just go sit down. Everything is very clear how to move around with minimal effort to figure out where to go. Also, I did not know how to find the parking, so the front desk person actually walked me out the front door and showed how to park. That was very thoughtful and i have never seen that level of help before.

My pet peave is that there is no night light for us older people who get up once or twice in the night to use the toilet. That should be an easy think to accommodate.

The only problem was we only had 4 hours to sleep, got in late and up early the catch the 6:30 am flight. The sheets were amazing!

I think there needs to be more detail explaining once you are in the airport how to get to your location. We went outside where shuttles are located on ground floor, then I called the hotel for clarification. Had to go back up stairs with heavy luggage to get the train over. It would have been nice to know those details when I made the reservation.

Perfect location for airport use. Located next to the skytrain thereby avoiding early morning shuttles seem at other hotels. Long term parking is so close! Price somewhat reasonable compared to other on site airport hotrls found in other cities. We are seniors who live about 3 hrs north and using this spot for an overnight stay before an early morning flight is perfect

This is the place to stay if you’re transiting through Toronto Pearson Airport with a next-day early flight. Skytrain that connects the terminals practically brings you to the door, and back. It’s reliable, frequent (every five minutes or so) and free. No taxis, no shuttles. Perfect. And the restaurant/bar, “Sosta!”, is very fine. The rooms are clean, smart, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Check in was quick and easy, same with checkout.
