Great location, close to downtown and coast but still very quiet. A much better room than the usual Monterey Peninsula motels (I've stayed in a lot). Value was difficult to judge because all accommodation prices are stratospheric during Monterey Car Week – but it compared well.

Facilities - just a few bottles of water and a few snacks on offer would have been great. I knew breakfast wasn't served but without any shops within quick walking distance it would make sense to have something available other than the few fizzy drinks.

This was a great location which is less than 2 miles from cannery row. We came here to meet up with family to experience the Monterey Bay Aquarium (disappointing 👎🏼). We don’t travel that often and didn’t really want to spend more than $300 for just 1 night, but this place wasn’t much more than that on a Friday night. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and very helpful. The accommodations were perfect, our bed was comfortable and it was so peaceful throughout the night. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Smaller than I expected, but not terrible.

The Sea Breeze Inn is a village of cottages: many monolocali indipendent one from each other; each one has is parking place and it’s free: this is really useful and comfortable. Inside, the monolocale (queen deluxe category) has a kitchen richly equipped (microwaves oven and refrigerator) and a sitting-room with table and chair; the floor is in wood. The bathroom is not large but new. The bed is comfortable.

Really, nothing. The staff is a little bit close and not too effusive but they do their work and nothing has gone wrong.

I really enjoyed the quietness and the relaxation of the area! This place is located in Pacific Grove and away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy areas. We stayed here and highly enjoyed the room and the view from our window! As a family of four the room met our needs completely and was clean! We would definitely stay here again! What a beautiful area to stay in! Also the deer were an amazing surprise 😊

Easy walk to shops & restaurants, coastal trails, great lunch spot next door. Small room fine for basic needs, could hear neighbors, but lucky they were respectful and quiet during sleeping hours. Other than sleeping, I didn't spend much time there but instead enjoyed exploring the neighborhood on foot and being outdoors most of the day.

We had a lovely clean and recently renovated spacious room with a little kitchen. Wonderful location right near the beach and nature walks with stunning views. An excellent location for exploring the beauty of the Big Sur area plus Monterey restaurants and shops. This location of Pacific Grove is so lovely in atmosphere and beauty we want to retire here! Owners very nice and accommodating

Perhaps a few extra pots or pans or kitchen tools in kitchenette. We like cooking when traveling. That’s all! Everything was perfect.

Very convenient for a visit to Pacific Grove while steering clear of the more touristy areas. The rooms were adequate and clean but not much in the way of eye appeal. There was a small area with a fire pit, but this is mostly a convenient place to sleep and shower.

I realize this is an expensive area, but a more could have been done to make the rooms feel more welcoming.

We love cottages! This experience was beyond my expectations. The google reviews do not compare to the property.. possible went through renovations. Our room was delightful and felt like a little apartment. Very quaint and cozy. The ceiling fan was nice. The windows opened for fresh air. Bathroom fan/ventilation was pretty good.. the window opened as well which was nice. The property is waking distance to the beach which we didn’t do this time but have done in the past at a neighboring cottage. We have to say Sea Breeze is our new favorite! Great value for the money.

Maybe a pamphlet in the room on how to work the fire put would be great! We couldn’t figure it out but loved the area at night.

Bed was comfortable and the location was close to Butterfly Grove.

I had problems connecting to WiFi. The day we arrived I connected with no problem. That evening I could not connect but with TJ's diagnostic help and restarting the modem got connected. The next morning could not connect but that evening with the front desk help got connected. The next morning I could not connect again. Once we returned to my brother's house in Milpitas I have had no problem staying connected. Since I have no problem at my brother's house or mine in Canada I believe my laptop is not the problem. I appreciated the help I got from your staff in getting me temporarily connected.

While this is an older facility, it's been very well maintained and has received significant recent upgrades to bathroom fixtures, floor and wall tiles, commode. The bed, windows, and main flooring also appeared to be relatively new. Everything was exceptionally clean. Screened windows on the front and back (plus a multi-speed ceiling fan) allowed for great air flow. In-room Mr. Coffee and mini refrigerator. Large screen TV. Very strong free WiFi. Great location. Great value. This is your basic, minimum-frills motel done right!

The check-in person could have been more welcoming. Not a big deal, but the only less-than-positive aspect of our two-day stay.
