Lovely clean and views over river were stunning. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful.

The only thing that let it down but would not stop me staying again was the breakfast was cold and the toaster needs replacing.

Beautiful view. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included, which was very good and a beautiful setting on the river.. next to park, which was very walkable. Taxis were easy to get. Would suggest a car and there is parking available. Hotel restaurant did have lunch and dinner and also a bar menu for light snacks. indoor pool and gym and an outdoor pool. The staff was amazing and very accommodating and helpful.. highly recommend this hotel. They had a mini bar with four choices, which was restocked a daily for free with soda, water, and juice..

No snacks,.. like vending machine or sellable snacks ( chips, pretzels, candy…behind the counter…. for days when you’re inside and it’s raining.

Everything about the property was excellent, from the staff to the food. The hospitality was outstanding. The staff members were welcoming and lovely. Jorge Ramos made our stay extra special; he was a wonderful host. Tatiana was a darling, and her service was exceptional. Jarlene and Rita were also lovely. I can't remember all the names, but the staff at this hotel truly made our stay special for me and my family. It was a great experience, and we enjoyed everything about the hotel. The location was excellent, and I highly recommend it.

I love everything, except that I had to buy water at dinner, which wasn't clear to customers. People should be informed at check-in.

The hotel has a lovely location on the edge of the Douro river. Hotel facilities are very good, although we did not use the gym or pool as we were out exploring the city each day. Our room was very comfortable with an excellent view of the river. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice, although the options did not change much from day to day. The walking paths along the river are lovely and we chose to walk into Porto each day to enjoy the views.

Not sure if there is an hotel shuttle service into town? This would have been useful if the weather was bad. Although we didn't need it, I was a bit surprised the hotel did not have a tour desk to arrange excursions.

Hotel was beautiful, so modern, tasteful decor, floral theme, rooms & bathroom lovely, staff v helpful and friendly, location perfect - on the river with lovely terrace, pool and easy to get into the hustle of porto

Organisation at breakfast

Breakfast was awesome. Lots of food and big variety. All fresh and being replenished often. Location is not close to the center but as we drove it was not an issue for us. We parked outside, there is not much space but we were lucky and no need to pay extra for the hotel parking.

It is not what we did not like, we just found the restaurant of the hotel very expensive. The restaurant is great as per atmosphere, food, staff. We were very well served but the food it is quite expensive and we could have the same experience for a lot less. On top of it, if you want to include wine, even if Oporto wine, the total of the meal goes up incrementally. Of course you would expect the wine to be more expensive than in a supermarket, but the prices there are well above expectation.

It is a beautiful hotel, especially the view from the balcony and the swimming pool is stunning. Breakfast was amazing, with a lot of choice! The staff were also very friendly.

The overall coffee situation for a 5 star hotel. There is no coffee machine in the room! (Only awful instant Nesquik) We have stayed in 3 star accommodations where there was a Nespresso/Dolce Gusto machine. Coffee at breakfast was also not good, very watery :( We used the Nespresso machine for take away coffee. It just really surprised us because in the whole of Porto we had amazing coffee!

Beautiful position overlooking the Douro with great views. The rooms and bathrooms were excellent and well fitted, though storage was limited if staying more than a couple of nights. Lovely to have balconies looking over the river. Staff were very well trained and helpful, and all spoke good English. Julia Borges in the evening restaurant was particularly helpful and friendly, as were the reception team, including Jorges. It was noticed by staff that we were celebrating a big birthday, and gifts were left in the room for us - a great touch, much appreciated. Buffet breakfast was superb, and extra items could be ordered at no charge. Good car parking at no cost.

Evening restaurant was overpriced, and geared to expense account dining - €5 charge for tap water, €3.50 each for bread roll, and all accompaniments to main courses are charged extra. The clientele were a somewhat captive market, as there is no local alternative restaurant.

The staff was amazing, everyone who works there was super nice and kind. I love the location of the Hotel, the view of the river was gorgeous, quiet place, very clean, loved the theme of the Hotel. The breakfast area was very nice and comfy. We will come back to this Hotel for sure in our next trip to Porto!

The mattress, for our taste, was a little firm. Please take this like a positive criticism :): The breakfast was nice with different options, but the scrambled eggs (both days), sadly not was tasty at all, had a weird taste and texture, and is my fav thing in a breakfast :(, next day I get the sunny side eggs and since they leave it in a warm place covered, they overcooked. I think that for a 5-star hotel, they can have a person doing the eggs for the clients, is a nice option and guarantee that always is made perfectly :) For the bacon, they can have the options of better done or less done (that all was) some people (like me hehe) like them more crispy :D
