We liked everything - starting from the location which is just 2 blocks away from the Carmen-Thyssen museum and thus the historical center, and at the same time - 2 blocks away from the river - which gives you the possibility to use a less expensive parking - just accross the bridge - Parking Marmoles for 15 EUR/24H - compared to all the other parking inside the limits of the historical center - for 25-30 EUR per day. The room was even nicer than the pictures - the design layout is very modern, artistic, light and cozy with very tall sailings which makes the space airy and even more larger than can be seen on the photos. There is everything - big sofa, huge wooden table with chairs in the kitchen/dining area with all necessary appliances - fridge, cupboards, sink, etc. - really convenient both for short and longer stay. The bedroom is with a good size and a space for clothes. The bed is very comfortable. The temperature is controlled by AC and it was warm enough during our stay. The bathroom has a very nice design and comfortable shower, but the soundproofing could be a problem. There's a good wifi connection and a lift. The whole builing is recently renovated and all the appartments are made for guests from the same company - so you feel very safe. There's an inner courtyard which is accessible from the street by a door with a code. The room access is also with a quite complicated code, so write it down both in your phone and on a paper because if your phone dies - you cannot get back home :D Everything was really fresh and new, well designed and comfortable and we'd love to stay again when we return to Malaga.

- For friends or families more than 2 people - you should be aware that the bathroom is with a sliding door and all the noise from the bathroom/toilet is heard throughout the apartment :D So you have to be either very delicate with noises or turn the bathroom sink very loud in order to find some toilet privacy.

Clean and located in the heart of Malaga Centro. Angel the caretaker was an absolute star. There was nothing he could do for you after he translated your message. His English and my Spanish were on par but we could communicate. I’ve stayed in a different property in Malaga with a high 9 rating and Athena Malaga is head and shoulders over it. Don’t hesitate and book this place now. You will not regret it Tom (Ireland)

I didn’t like that the toaster and kettle was in the cupboard and there was no tea bags or coffee to start your holiday

Perfect location in old town . Easily accessible with door codes.i felt very secure as solo female traveller. Comfy bed. Great bathroom . Nice little toiletries package . Seating / dining area nicely equipped . Kitchen had all.essentials. very clean throughout Communication great throughout and responded very quickly re couple minor issues

No internet for 2nd of 2 nights stay , but property manager dealt with this very efficiently . Could add some bottled water / basic drinks ( coffee sachets/ tea bags) just to make it perfect!

The location, decor and communication were excellent. The facilities are very good, lots of hot water and great quality throughout. The whole building is well designed and the balcony a great bonus. Air con good and decent storage. Very good deal for the fantastic location in the old town. Parking is nearby as are all the sights, shops and restaurants. Great.

The bedroom and bed are very small and could definitely do with more pillows. The bathroom although well designed needs some upkeep, there was a bit of mold and grouting missing, needing a bit of tlc. the apartment can get noisy with toilets flushing above and door closes echoing loudly.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and very clean. It has a super convenient location in the old town with sightseeing places and restaurants closed by. It's located in a small alley so it's quite at night. Angel is very polite, and all the communication to check in or even during the power shortage was good. He made sure all the guests were able to return to the apartment without problem because of the malfunction of the main door during power shortage. He is very helpful and dedicated to his job.

The apartment was much bigger than expected and located right in the city centre of Malaga - it was very difficult to find parking at a reasonable price, but the host Angel was able to recommend the closest and cheapest parking garage available. Check in was extremely simple and Angel was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The apartment was very clean and equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, broom, mop, etc. so that our stay was as comfortable as possible. It was also very quiet in comparison to other places we'd stayed; we happened to be in Malaga at the same time fashion week was taking place but we weren't able to hear any street noises which is definitely a plus!

location, location, location! it really exceeded our expectations. so close to everything in the old town centre but far enough away to feel safe and peaceful. would definitely return. lots of storage space there were also plenty of plug sockets and the AC worked well. We booked taxis twice using our hosts (there are some contact details in the lobby) and taxi driver was on time (actually a few mins early!) on both occasions. great service!

a large/ full length mirror would have been useful and the tv didnt work (radio only) but very minor issues!

Location is great, near every important sight. You can relax in the balcony. The apartment has proper bad and pillows, hight of the rooms (aprox 3.5-4m) increases the space. The kitchen is well equiped. We were very well welcomed by friendly people and everything explained, could leave the luaggage in the lockers for free amd when case we could check in sooner. The cleaning components for the dishes were new and sanitary.

Not enough soap for 3 days even tough a gift is available at the beginning including soap. More cleaning soap for dishes

- At City Center - All amenities needed are close by - All attractions are at the walking distance - The place was clean and had everything needed for a good stay - Angel was quick to answer all our queries.

- Nothing related to the apartment. - The only issue I had during my trip to Malaga was that the parking area close to the apartment is such a rip off , it's 28 euros for 24 hours on weekends and 25 euro on weekdays ..

The location is superb. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. You can find most of the utensilies in the apartment from cutlery to coffee machine. We liked the single cleaning and hygiene packages they provided per unit. The staff was friendly when you saw them. The keyless door locks are also fine.

Accessing the property is a bit of a hassle. The instructions were not so clear and even when we informed our arrival time nobody answered the phone or whatsapp message. In the end we got in when other guests came out and we located the staff cleaning rooms. There's very little insulation and you hear every neighbor and sounds well. It was quiet time of the year so it was more or less fine.
