We booked last minute due to the place we were booked in at being absolutely awful. This place was relatively cheap but looked at least better than where we were. We were absolutely blown away by everything about this place. The room was amazing. Breakfast - which is simply described as eggs, toast and coffee - was amazing and needs to be sold better. We had a lovely time. We used the laundry service and that was excellent too.

There wasn't a lot of hot water for showers but the weather was hot as hell anyway. This wasn't too big of an issue.

The hacienda is very large with many great spaces including 2 pools, a cenote and great walking/biking paths. The service was the best part. We had a very responsive concierge to help with tours. And the other staff were very friendly.

The location is not close too much. Unless you want to eat at the hacienda it’s about a 30 minute ride into Merida

A very nice property, full of charm and authentic. the hotel is big but large enough to do not feel the other guests. The hotel has two pools and a restaurant open the all day, and a nice bar during night.

The restaurant was really OVER priced, the food is tiny and extremely expensive for nothing very small portion and no choice, the menu is quite expensive we got bill of 2600$mxn (150euros) for our small family lunch and nothing crazy at all we did not even order a plate for each we shared few things... !! in the morning we did not paid attention to continental or American breakfast we ordered 4 omelette and come a bill of 1795$MXN such is almost 89 euros for 4 omelette ... I am still make this joke and smile but the price are not faire at all, you should avoid the restaurant and go to Merida to eat and enjoy really food.

Everything. The site is absolutely gorgeous, staff are kind, food is delicious, prices reasonable.

Nothing. Every thing is top notch. Only complaint is we ran out of hot water before we could fill the massive tub.

This facility is beautiful, every detail is magnificent. As beautiful as the pictures are on the website, it is more stunning upon arrival. The food in the restaurant was delicious and elegantly prepared. We used the hotel as home base to visit sites near Merida. Later in the trip we stayed in downtown Merida, and with the traffic it took us 30 minutes to get outside of Merida. We highly recommend Hacienda Santa Cruz not only for its beauty but for its easy access to the highway and visiting sites nearby. We also loved our waiter - he was charming and taught us a lot about the area and also gave us excellent meal suggestions.

Different hotel experience at a historical property. At night it was very impressive with the hanging lights. The food and staff were excellent.

The room could have been cleaner and it smelled a little musty. The TV also had a large black line going through the screen making it difficult to watch.

The place is beautiful, It is a place that combines the beauty of the past with the comfort of the present. The food is very good. And The staff was very kind, friendly and attentive.
