It was a true delight to discover this charming B&B, especially given its convenient proximity to our Durban office – which was initially my main reason for choosing it. However, upon arrival, I quickly realized it felt just like being at home! Gerhard and his wife Yuri were, without a doubt, the most wonderful hosts. Their warmth and friendliness were exceptional. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, the internet connection was excellent, but what truly set this place apart was the genuine hospitality of the hosts. I would recommend this B&B without a moment's hesitation. I feel as though I've left Durban having made two new friends.

I stayed for 2 weeks. The owners were very sweet and very welcoming. They invited me to their family Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve. Weston, the guy who manages the place and did the servicing was exceptional. He was polite and helpful and is an asset for Terebinte. The air-con was an asset in the summer heat. When the remote malfunctioned and couldn't be fixed, the owner got a new one the next day. The bed was comfortable. One small load of washing was done for me at no extra cost.

There was no hot plate for cooking. Only a toaster, kettle and microwave, although the room had a sink for washing dishes. The room was serviced every day and I felt this was not necessary. No place to hang wet items of washing inside or outside. No dishwashing articles (sponge or dishwashing liquid).

Our stay at Terebinte brought the perfect close to our journey in Durban. A beautiful room, a rich breakfast in the lovely dining room of Gerhard and Yuri. Impeccable service, warm hospitality, welcoming smiles, and a cat wandering around. Everything especially the 🚿 with hot water at all times. Great size very comfortable to share a shower. Close to Musgrave centre like less than 5 minutes drive and Davenport with shopping centre, restaurants, shisanyama, news cafe and more. Love the deco in the room and around the house

Not applicable for me. We love everything. Our government will take place if we really want to relax and have a good time.

The place was close to everything and the setting was really beautiful, which will probably have us being regular visitors everytime we want to have a night out of fun in Durban Central. I highly recommend this place for the comfort and affordability. Yuri was a really awesome and friendly host

Nothing particular really stood out, besides the space of the area being a bit small, which in turn kinda lead to us overhearing what's going on at the host's space... However the setup and our host made us forget about all the things that might hinder the experience

The place is beautiful, clean and peaceful, it's serene. The owner always checked in on us and how our mom was doing since we were there as we wanted to be closer to the hospital. It was so peaceful it eliviated the anxiety we felt about the hospital. We really felt at ease and comfortable. We definitely will be back again.

being a digital nomad is crucial to be somewhere confortable and with good internet, Terebinte B&B managed to exceed my expectation, I did some creative work while I was there and the 2 nights I slept like a baby, I highly recommend it and 100% sure I would stay there again. It's a beautiful house with amazing gardens.

Very clean, comfortable and peaceful. Owners very polite and nice :) I really love the room service received everytime when I come back to my room, very impressive. I love the art paintings and the room arrangement, it makes my stay feel like an experince. It’s very peaceful. Good value for money.

I loved the hospitality and the aura of the bed and breakfast , the owner was exceptional and even left a birthday chocolate bar for my cousin who we were celebrating . The garden was the best part for me where we sat and made a few memories . I would like to genuinely thank the Gerald (owner ) for the amazing stay and cleanliness as well as the quality of it all was worth it

At no fault of owners there was no water for the first night. That was a bit of an inconvenience but even then they supplied bottled water and offered to drive me to an alternative location to shower.
