Breakfast looked really good and rich but we choose not to take it, we like having coffee outside. Location was AMAZING! close to U train and central station. The room was in a good size and the beds were comfortable. Staff was great and very helpful.

When we arrived late at night to the hotel, from the airport, the front gate was closed and it took them 20 minutes to open it for us. Also we were accommodated on the patio floor, it was a smaller room from what we reserved, the room was partly clean and ready for us. In the next morning we reached out to them on all the following and they fixed everything, changed the room, apologized for it not being ready for us and even gave a bottle of wine as an apologize. Additionally, there wasn't a fridge in the room, we like having some snacks and cold drinks so it kind of a bummer. Also the light in the room was to low, we wished for some more light especially at the evening.

Let’s be honest: Hotel AMO by AMANO calls itself a 3-star hotel, but that’s just modesty. This place easily outshines many “luxury” hotels I’ve stayed in, some of which charge triple the price and can’t even deliver a functioning bathroom tap (looking at you, George V, Paris). AMO offers stylish, comfortable rooms that actually feel like someone cared while designing them. The bathrooms are fully equipped (read: not a glorified sink-and-shower cubicle) and refreshingly modern. Everything is clean, calm, and cleverly put together. It’s Berlin cool without trying too hard. If you enjoy good taste, good sleep, and don’t need someone to call you “sir” every five minutes, this place is for you.

Stylish room with a great shower, good wifi, and comfortable beds. Close to tram stops, a train station and a supermarket so easy to get around the city. Easy online check in/out processes.

The double bed was two singles pushed together, we’ve had this a few times on our trip with no issues but this time our beds kept sliding apart if we rolled to the middle which wasn’t the best considering we are a couple. The coffee machine could also use a bit of milk (there was some but not enough) and the soap/conditioner in the shower was basically empty for the duration of our stay. I would consider staying here again but only if we got a proper double bed next time I think, that was the only thing that actually annoyed us.

Very clean, which is my number one priority. Quirky building and nicely decorated. Yes, it’s dark colours, but tastefully done. I really liked the lightning. Room is not that big, but the ceiling height and mirrors make it feel airier. We were on the street side. Due to traffic noise it is impossible to keep the window open during the night. The window, however, blocks the noise really well. I liked the firm bed. Only one pillow, but got another one when asked.

AC can’t be controlled from the room. Not sure if it was on, as it got a bit stuffy in room. That could be resolved by airing the room before going to sleep.

Perfect location! The property was clean and the staff were amazing, so professional and kind. They even lent me a charger for 3 days because I didn’t have an adapter. Anytime I asked them for something, they provided it straight away and always with a smile. They even had a proper powerful hair dryer which is something I always need. 100% recommended.

The lighting is a bit poor in the room however it didn’t impact my time there at all. The bathroom had plenty of natural and artificial light and a big mirror and even an adjustable make up mirror so I was perfectly able to put make up on and get ready to go out.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, facilities were clean and bed was comfortable but the lighting in the room could have been better. like they could place some more lights beside the mirrors to be able to see yourself better exp if you are preparing for an official dinner.

Overall lighting / darkness in the room was a big minus, it was as if the lights were permanently dimmed. i requested additional lamp and got some standing corner lap which didnt really help. The fact that it was winter and not much sun outside, lifting the blinds didnt help in allowing some more light in.

i loved the design of the room and the location of this hotel

as i loved this hotel and my stay, a few things i was disappointed in was how dark the room was during the day, as the location of my windows into the courtyard didn’t provide as much natural light as i hoped. Additionally, there was no shower curtain / glass inside the shower therefore it was easy to wet the floor and the surrounding area while showering. besides that, it was a beautiful hotel and a great place to stay! i would return to this hotel in the future :)

The room is small, but we knew this when booking and it was a nice spot for weekend sightseeing. The bed was comfortable, it was quite dark room, but we returned to it after a full day of sightseeing, so we didn't count on the natural light source anyway. Toiletries were provided in the bathroom and we had a coffee maker in the room which could also serve as a kettle to heat up tea water which was a convenient solution. The location was great, everywhere close even on foot. The ladies at reception were very friendly and helpful, it was always possible to ask anything as registration was open 24/7. There was also the option of buying breakfast in the hotel, which we did not use, but the very fact that it was not imposed in advance, but you could make a choice at any point was a very nice touch.

One bed consisted of two connected mattresses, which unfortunately spread out creating an empty space between them. The room was probably not soundproofed as all the noise from the corridor was clearly audible. If we were to stay there for longer we would have needed more lighting.

We came here for a weekend away for our anniversary and it was absolutely perfect. The location is a nice and quiet with it being easy to drift off and sleep but only a quick stroll takes you into the city centre and also a tram stop outside the hotel links you to anywhere you want to go to. The room was really clean and we had an economy room and it was more than big enough for a couple so the standard rooms should be luxury for anybody who takes one of them up. The shower was spacious, the beds were extremely comfy and the staff were excellent, even opening bottles of beer for us when we didn’t have a bottle opener!

Nothing. I can’t fault anything about this modern, clean and brilliant hotel

Fabulous location right outside the metro. Easy access to anywhere in the city. Restaurants and services right at the door step. Staff cheerful and very helpful. Light bright and relatively spacious bathroom. Windows that open and shut easily. Quiet throughout our stay.

The room is painted dark blue and with low lighting, it was sometimes difficult to see inside room and corridors. The room was also very compact. The location makes up for that however and we intend to return soon to stay again.
