Stylish/comfortable/good quality bed linen and towels/very comfortable bed. Everything impeccably clean. Stayed during a cold snap with snow. Room was comfortably warm. I turned the radiator on in the tiled shower room. Good supply of hot water to the sink and the shower. Really easy transport to Hauptbanhof and also to PotsdamPlatz via Brandenburg Tor/direct line no changing required. Soft drinks and snacks to have on an honesty basis. Record the goods/your name and your room number. My luggage did not make it onto my connecting flight from Frankfort. Hotel took delivery and brought my case to my room. My room faced onto an inner courtyard. It was very quiet.

Reception not 24/7: perhaps a luxury post Covid. The combination safe was on the bottom shelf in the wardrobe. I’m old and stiff. I was unable to make use of it.

Lovely apartment. Spacious room, big 4 poster bed, with sofa, armchair, desk and chair. Lovely shower, useful kitchen. Free croissants available every morning. Honesty bar. Lift, which after walking around Berlin we were grateful for. (We did a minimum of 16,000 steps every day for 5 days.) Good location and quiet.

None of these issues were major. The receptionist left at 5 or 6 each evening so not always there when help was required. Shower door wouldn't close entirely so bathroom floor got very wet. Apartment very warm, even with radiators off, but the windows opened. Room only cleaned every other day, which was fine, but would have liked to have known.

Really friendly and helpful staff. Stephanie was lovely at check in when I had an awful time arriving at Brandenberg airport. Loved my balcony in apartment and Chi Chi made me smile daily...that's the hotel dog. Warm croissants every morning and coffee were a great start to the day...alles es gut, danke. Great kebab place at top of street and more bars and restaurants than you can shake a stick at. Vibrant and bonkers city.

It was 34 degrees whilst in Berlin and hotel had no air conditioning. It wasn't a biggie for me but maid should have left some windows open....unbearable walking into rooms. Satellite TV would be a great addition. Don't go to watch tv but after 10 hours sightseeing nice to lie in bed a just watch a bit of non German tv before sleep.

I recommend this hotel ! Very beautiful, with some vintage vibes. I asked for a specific room and it did not disappoint (two large windows with a view over the streets). The staff is really nice, and discreet. I arrived late at night and they gave me a code to get the key and instructions to find the room. It’s also very well located, in a residential area, close from the main metro stations and the city center. They don’t offer a full breakfast but you can get coffee / tea and a croissant for free, which worked fine for me. Overall, a perfect stay to visit Berlin !

Maybe a fridge in the room and a full breakfast would make the stay excellent, but it’s just details for me

A set of very pretty rooms hiding in a fairly regularly looking house. There's no breakfast, but there's free coffee and tea, and a mini-bar-style corner with some drinks and snacks to buy. The rooms and hotel's inner spaces are decorated quite nicely, it has a feel of an old house that is kept in a very good condition. There's no air conditioning, but windows provide a good ventilation. Rooms are also quite spacious. It's close to U-Bahn and S-Bahn, and wlaking distance from many locations, bars and restaurants.

The rooms facing the street are a bit noisy in the morning when windows are open, even though it's a residential area - probably some municipal trucks are passing through. But not too much. There's supposedly a croissants as a complimentary breakfast downstairs, but they're swept away quickly so I haven't seen any. But there's a bakery nearby and there's a good breakfast restaurant in the same building so that's just to adjust expectations. The strange part was the request to share my credit card information for confirmation via email - I have refused to do so and came to the lobby next morning to provide it (they close lobby early), but it's an odd thing to ask in the first place.

Superb location in a quiet street close to the centre of East Berlin. Gorgeous period building with a museum vibe - the walls hung with oil paintings and lined with period furniture. A beautiful aura of calm pervaded the entire house and its tranquil courtyard. Our 2-bed apartment was generously proportioned and felt like a real “home from home”. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. The living room looked stunning with its beautiful wooden floorboards, long mirror and big wooden dining table. We were very sorry to have to leave!

Wow, the rooms!! Absolutely gorgeous and spacious and each room is designed differently. Nice and comfortable lobby. Great espresso station and the lovely ladies at reception. Quiet area so easy to sleep well. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Sorry to say the gorgeous room was not well cleaned. One of the drawers had what seemed to be chocolate in it, the floor had stuff on it (discovered when I stepped on it), and the toilet was not completely clean. Suggest providing slippers since the wooden floor is a bit rough and the bathroom tiles are really cold in the winter.

Location. Great for tram 6-7 mins walk away gives access to whole Berlin transport system. Can walk 20-30mins and be at Alexander platz . mainly residential area, quiet but plenty of places to eat within 10mins walk. Hotel has small (shared )garden area for guests loved having coffee and croissants there in morning. Very clean

Nothing would definitely stay again if in Berlin

Beautiful hotel with an old world feel but still comfortable. Lovely receptionists and delicious croissants for breakfast! The towel rack on the bathroom was incredible and saved the day because it was really cold in Berlin during my stay!

Like an old building naturally is, there is not so much sound proofing which some customers might find off putting.

The location of the hotel is great. In a gentrified area of Berlin full of restaurants, not in the central area with all the big new modern buildings, but still very close to all the main sites. The hotel put us in one of their apartments, which has a ton of space, including a small kitchen.

Noting really. This hotel is relatively small, and has slightly less services than the big chains: reception desk closes in the evening, breakfast is in a nearby cafe, etc. But I actually think this is a positive.
