I visited a lot of hotels in Berlin and was really surprised how clean this appartment was. Absolutly perfect. Plus there is a small park directly next to the hotel. If you book a room, try to get one with the 'garden view'. It's the park. The station 'Nordbahnhof' is handy to explore the city and convenient if you travel from/to the airport - you'll need to change the train only once. (A hint for unexperianced travelers: By train you get to or from the hotel for about 4 - 5 €. By taxy it costs 80€ but takes as long as the train timewise. Don't waste your money if you don't need to.) And the workers at the hotel are kind and helpful. Best compliments. One hint: If you book a room with a lot of windows, like the small apartment, ask first if there is one available above the first floor. Otherwise it could be uncomfortable feeling kind of exposed, by that is totally a personnal preference. From now on, this hotel will be my place to stay. No need to experiment with other locations.

I recently stayed at and had an amazing experience! The flat was spacious and modernly and very tastefully equipped, and the view in the park was amazing. The location was perfect, with easy access to transportation and the surrounding areas (10-20 minutes to almost anywhere in the centre, just few minutes by train/tram, both stations facing directly the apartment building), staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better experience - 5 stars!

Great location for access to transport therefore it was easy to get to all city centre attractions and onto larger stations to transfer to regional trains out of the city. Adjacent to the interesting area of Prenzlauer Berg for good restaurants and independent shops. The apartment is spacious and clean with v comfortable beds and pretty good soundproofing when the windows are shut. The air con in one of the bedrooms made a big difference as it was quite warm for our week in June

It might have been useful to access some kind of written guide with an explanation of what we could recycle and where - we did find the garbage room downstairs but we weren't sure what to do with coffee pods for instance. It's only a small concern however and not really a big deal

Downtown Apartments Mitte are very well presented, modern and clean in an ideal location. The staff we great and very helpful from the moment we arrived. The apartment we had on level 5 was very spacious with a large balcony and outlook with views to the Berlin TV tower. Public transport (tram) from the front door was great and the train station was also across the road - so plenty of options. We particularly liked the bar downstairs for a pre or post dinner drink. We were surprised how quiet the apartment was and would definitely recommend staying here for a Berlin visit.

Hard to fault. Housekeeping service more regularly (cleaning and towels) would have been nice.

The location is excellent — very convenient for exploring the city center on foot. The apartment itself was in great condition: everything was clean, fresh, and felt like new. There were plenty of wardrobes in every room, which made it easy to keep things tidy during the stay. I’m a light sleeper and was a bit concerned after reading some of the reviews about noise, but with the windows closed, it was perfectly quiet, and I slept very well. The parking garage is just around the corner, which was also very convenient.

Parking wasn’t available for half of my stay, so if that’s important to you, it’s best to check with the property in advance. There’s also no option to unload your car right at the entrance. If the weather is hot, it can be a bit uncomfortable — the only way to cool down is by opening the windows, but with them open, the noise level is quite high. One of the reasons I chose an apartment over a hotel was to avoid being disturbed by staff during my stay — I value my privacy, and I also travel with a small dog who doesn’t like strangers. During my time here, there was a window cleaning service scheduled. I managed to avoid having anyone come into the apartment, but if I had stayed just one day longer, it could have been an issue.

This is our second time at Downtown Apartment. In 2022 September, we stayed in DA in Mitte-Wedding. Had a very nice experience so again chose DA. And it didn’t disappoint. Excellent service by Lydia and Katherine. Promptly helped us in everything. Apartment was very clean. Had a lot of storage. Fully equipped kitchen with cooktop, dishwasher and refrigerator. Microwave was provided promptly when we requested. Quality laundry equipments in the basement free of cost. Location was bang opposite S-Nordbahnoff. Tram stop for M12, 1 line is just outside the apartment. This is a plus point with respect to commute.

But This is also a negative point, as like us, if you are also on the first floor, you may have problem at night sleeping peacefully as the trams are running till late night and from early morning. Also, People talking loudly on tram stop can be irritating at night. Curtains reduced the noise a bit but for the first 2 days, it was a problem. Then we got used to it a bit. That’s why 8/10 for location.

I rented two apartments. A one-bedroom for a friend traveling with me and a two-bedroom for my family of four. The building is modern and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable with balconies and all the amenities (ironing board, full kitchen, microwave if you need it). The exceptional staff go above and beyond to accommodate our needs and respond immediately to any issues. The location is across the street from a key metro station, making it easy to travel anywhere in Berlin. However, it is worth noting that the metro does run directly beneath the building, which did not seem to bother us. Additionally, there is a popular restaurant on the street level that features an outdoor space in the building's backyard. Again, the noise did not affect our stay, but it was noticeable if you were on the balcony in the early evening. Lastly, there is a tram station directly in front of the building so it is not possible to park in front of the building to unload your car. I recommend booking their private garage which is located 100m away. Overall, excellent accommodation and exceptional staff.

Apartment was comfortable and in a great location for mass transit. Since it was hot for a few days during our stay, we appreciated the air conditioning. Laundry facilities in the basement were available. Check-in was easy and reception clerks were friendly and helpful. Apartment had everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We would choose this apartment again when staying in Berlin.

The apartment was spacious, well-lit, and air-conditioned. It was also soundproof, so even though it was located in a busy area, it was very quiet. Location is near Nordbahnhof and the Berlin Wall Visitor Center, and is easily accessible by train to the Hauptbahnhof and thence to the airport. You could walk to many areas with a little effort and the subway or bus took you wherever else you wanted to go. The apartment had a sitting area, kitchen, and complete kitchen. We really appreciated the free washers and dryers located in the building basement, as we had been on the road for 10 days when we arrived at the apartment. Highly recommend this apartment, especially for more mature travelers who like to rest.

Excellent Location. Opposite Nordbanhoff S Bahn Station. Trains and Buses also directly outside. A nice choice of eateries close by, along with a lovely supermarket selling very nice produce. Great access to a park perfect for children. Fab laundry facilities and a bar with beer garden next door for the parents. We stayed in the 2 bed apt with 2 children 11 & 14. Very spacious. The children loved having their own bathroom.

A little noisy, but expected given the central location. I knew this before booking. Front bedroom could benefit from air conditioning. Back bedroom was perfect !!! Beds a little hard. Slight problem gaining access when arriving early to drop our bags off but resolved with a quick phone call. Reception staff very pleasant.
