Our caravan was basic but clean. One particular day the boiler stopped working we contacted the helpline and within 10 minutes someone arrived sorted the problem and had a brilliant attitude. The site was quite and restful with the added bonus of seeing the 'Harry Potter' train passing by the sight four times a day. This did not add any noise. The big big plus was the VIEW. It was outstanding to wake up to a loch view and mountains each morning was amazing. I would book again without hesitation. The walks on the beach were refreshing - Just make sure you are midge ready. This site is the perfect location. We took our dog and she loved the varied walks around the site.

Wish I had booked a bigger caravan.

Our cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable. The beds were big and very comfy. The site is peaceful and tranquil and overlooking the beautiful loch. Our dog was very welcome and loved playing by the loch. It is not far to Fort William, the Glenfinnan Viaduct, the Nevis range, Glencoe and the ferry to Skye. It is perfectly situated. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The duvets on the beds were big and heavy and we were there in July during a hot spell of weather. Lighter ( summer ) duvets would have been appreciated or the option of a sheet and blanket.

The location of this place is superb, very convenient! You're waking up to the incredibly peaceful lake view and behind is the highest mountain of the UK. This place really is amazing, where you can easily relax and enjoy yourself. Your body and mind will thank you for that. Close by to local shops, beautiful beaches around 1h away, Ben Nevis Viewpoint and waterfalls within 30min drive, Glenfinnan Viaduct 20 min away and about 2.5h to Isle of Skye 👌

The only thing we could mention is the lack of Internet in the caravan, but if your have your package on the phone then you'll be absolutely fine 😊

Linnhe holiday park surpasses in beauty as each year passes. Ive been going over 10 years + and every one that goes with me , they say it beats all their expectation.... The acckmmodation ( we had D11, right on the front) I had expected a mobile home with decking/outdoor seating, so obv a mix up with Booking.com).However it was in such a lovely spot, full view of the stunning Loch , so we didnt querie it . This caravan was amazing, had everything including a full height double fridge, freezer, Gas hob, electric cooker, plenty of radiators, big tv ( however wifi is always a bit hit and miss, couldnt get Netflix etc, but general channels worked, and at the end of the day, we dont drive 7hrs to watch tv, just need to see news and weather at 10pm!) It was very 'brand new " inside, brill size kitchen, lots of utensils, crockery, cutlery ...even a hoover ...etc. Comfy beds. Seating area was used for a bed as got a bit too hot in the smaller bedroom. My friend didnt pull out the bed settee as slept just on the sofa part, and slept incredibly well. The staff on site/reception/shop are super friendly and helpful, you get a lovely welcome. The site itself is immaculately tidy, and very well kept. Even the rocky beach is kept tidy. Great childrens play area, Camping ground, and great amenities for camper vans and tourers.... Highly recommended. Well behaved dogs welcome as long as they are booked at the time of booking must be on a leas, and obviously, please clean up after your dog. If there was one thing that was missing for me ( i have peripheral neuropathy), ...so i bought a rubber mat to go in the shower cubicle, as i felt it was very slippy. A bath towell would help if anyone has similar problems Did Mallaig , Glen Nevis Gondola , Cairngorms to Highland Folk Museum.highly recomend this, i go every time i stay at Linnhe, and its free.fabulous drive , Kyle of loch Alsh to Eilean Donan Castle( Braveheart!

.....the fact we were only staying 3 nights as we were heading to Bo'ness for a few days! My husbands ashes were scattered around the area, so its always sad to leave....

A fabulous location overlooking the loch. The caravan had a very comfortable double bed, a great shower and surprisingly a walk in wardrobe with a light. A great base, just a few miles from Fort William, allowing easy exploration of places such as Glencoe and the Harry Potter viaduct and the historical monument close by whch can be climbed to give great views. The scenery in this area is breathtaking including the drive from Fort William to Oban and Fort William to Inverness, probably my favourite part of Scotland.

I really liked how these were like a mobil home in the US. They had two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen (with a small fridge, stove, oven, and microwave), and a bathroom. It was great to be able to eat in so that we could save the money to use for other things to do on our holiday. The property itself was very large with two playgrounds for kids and a great view of the loch. There was a kind of beach area. Not sure as I would be lying out to try and get a tan, but we did see a few people on paddleboards that I'm sure people brought and took off into the loch from the beach. My spouse and I went on walks around the property just to get out and enjoy the evening without having to drive anywhere. We also loved that there was a laundry area that included the washing soap. Very handy.

The beds were not the most comfortable and the internet didn't work well until late at night when I assume most people had gone to bed. But for the price, the privacy, location, and kitchen, I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed in budget 2 person caravan, took our own bedding and towels due to £30 excess for these. If we hadn’t taken duvet this would have been the only downside as theirs was very thin. We had a fabulous view of the Loche, caravan was small warmed up quickly and had everything we would need for cooking meals which we did twice. Small but cosy and comfortable. We even booked an extra night whilst there, best thing without doubt was the placements of all the properties so everyone had a view of the beautiful awe inspiring view

Thin quilt, could have had cushions as with most caravans the sofa was thin and not very comfortable for 2, for 1 it was fine with a pillow

Excellent location, comfortable beds and more:)

When we asked kindly receptionist for a plastic bin bag as none were given we have been quite rudely told it is self catering? We spent there 3 days with no bags, two rolls of toilet paper and two tablets for dishwasher for family of 7 is a big push...I think self catering means you sort food for yourself not dishwasher tablets washing up liquids, toilet rolls etc. At least never in the past we had to provide that. Bathroom silicone was black from mould, more detailed cleaning needed. You can buy a spray to remove all yellow patches and mould with ease. Shame as you can see place is invested and in great condition. Instead of replacing all just clean it.

Linne Lochside Chalet offers a charming escape for those seeking a tranquil retreat surrounded by stunning natural beauty. The chalets themselves are cozy and functional, providing a comfortable base for exploring the Scottish Highlands. The two compact bedrooms are ideal for small families or couples, while the basic kitchen allows for self-catering convenience. One of the standout features is undoubtedly the breathtaking Loch Eil views. The chalet deck is the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the scenery. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a morning coffee or a glass of wine as the sun sets. The site's location is a major plus. Being just a short drive from Fort William and the Neptune Staircase makes it a convenient base for exploring the area's attractions. And for Harry Potter fans, the site is conveniently located on the way to the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct. While the chalets are basic, they offer excellent value for money, especially considering the stunning location. If you're looking for a no-frills accommodation with easy access to the Highlands' natural wonders, Loch Eil Chalet is definitely worth considering.

The early checkout time of 9:30 AM is inconvenient, and the Wi-Fi is unreliable. Additionally, the lack of nearby shops or restaurants may be an issue for some guests. The reception closing at 6 PM could also be challenging for late arrivals, although the self-check-in option is helpful.

We stayed in a mobile home on the lake and the view was amazing. The house is small but had all that was needed for a 3 days stay. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The weather was horrible but we didn't mind since the house was so nice to spend time in.

The pots and pans should be renewed. We almost destroyed good steaks on them. Were it not for this bit, the stay would have been perfect. Other kitchenware was in good shape.
