Wonderful house, lovely host and lovely breakfast. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was great. It was very hot so we were given an air conditioning unit in the room which was fab. Cold water in the fridge on the landing waa veey welcome. We were made so welcome. Really lovely stay. Saumur is lovely !

Not that we didn't like it, but the walk to town is rather long - at least 25 minutes and we don't walk that slowly. Just be prepared for it if you want to leave your car and walk. The walk is mostly flat!

The house was a beautiful period property, full of character, that had been lovingly furnished and cared for. Laetitia was a wonderful host, taking time to give us advice on where to park in Saumur and where to eat. Our room had everything we needed and there was a fridge just outside where we could store our food and get water. Breakfast was great, overlooking the garden where chickens happily wandered around. We were able to park outside the property with no problem. Outside of the city centre the street lights are switched off at 9pm so its a great place for looking at the stars. I hope we can revisit some time soon.

Our stay was lovely, the house had a gorgeous layout - we were in one of the two rooms at the top of the house. Our room had an en-suite bathroom, and the furnishings were so pretty. Madam Laetitia was very kind to us, we had a delicious breakfast! Thank you so much for being so understanding of our measly ability to speak French!!

A family house with character. The bed was comfortable and there was everything I wanted, including safe undercover parking for a motorcycle. Decent breakfast. Quiet, despite it being close to a road.

This place is a little too far from the centre to walk, but it's certainly possible if you have the time.

The property has been lovingly restored and fitted out with 21st century amenities. Excellent wifi and a very good shower. A large room which was thoughtfully laid out. The use of a fridge and microwave was much appreciated. This is a really top class B and B.

A beautiful home and we were treated very well by the hosts. Extremely comfortable accommodation and facilities. Details were perfect. Breakfast excellent. Great restaurant L’Harlequin close by

We had a warm welcome to the lovely property and enjoyed a spacious, comfortable bedroom and a tasty breakfast. We were travelling by bike and it was a short cycle into the centre of Saumur from the location for an evening meal. The safe storage if our bikes was also appreciated.

Rien. We liked everything

From the outside the house looks ordinary but inside it’s a lovely old tastefully renovated place with a large garden. Breakfast was very good with a range of foodstuffs. There is secure covered bicycle parking. Excellent value for money. The owner is friendly and helpful.

Very warm welcome from the owners was much appreciated. Pleasant room and healthy breakfast. Storage space for bicycles was convenient. City center is only 2km away, easily accessible by bicycle.

An absolute gem. Lovely welcome and check in by the owners daughter, fantastic room and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Great breakfast each morning. Would definitely recommend a stay here to other travellers
