When we got to the hotel we didn't want to stay because it is very high in the mountains. It was very foggy that day. We had then decided to stay. In the end, we were very satisfied that we stayed. Sonia and Martin were certainly good hosts. The natural area around the hotel is great for hiking or just walking in nature.

What is less good is the road in the mountains to get to the hotel, especially if you are afraid of heights. But once you get to the top, it is great.

The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help, breakfast was included which is always nice. The location was worth the fee alone. The views during the day and on a clear night were incredible.

The property itself was a little dated and tired with very basic rooms. But it doesn't sell itself as a 5 star luxury resort so expectations were met. Not to bad really.

Hotel Malixerhof in Malix above Chur is a really quiet place to stay. It serves a good breakfast and the rooms are quiet. The place is good to walk a bit, but the options seem a bit limited.

The room was really simple and lacks electrical outlets. E.g. the watercooker is located in a position without electrical outlet.

Great location for walking after a long drive with beatiful views over Chur, the Rhine valley and mountains to the east. Good room with a bit narrow and short beds (being 1.95 m tall). Very kind host.

Rather mediocre menu and food, in particularly in relation to the price.

Wonderful staff and beautiful location. The nature trail was very cool.

Staff had thoughtfully put on the heater in the room prior to arrival, but it didn't put out a lot of heat. The drive up there at night caused a little anxiety, but worth it in the end.

Great room, really spacious, with table place to sit by, access to the terrace. Tasty breakfast.

The entrance to bathing tub could be hard for kids/shorter people.

A nice old large ski hotel . Being a summer visitor probably did not show it off .

As a summer visitor it was a long way out of town but I think that’s booking .coms bad description. Rooms were a bit dated but I had a great sleep in silence.
