The room booked was a standard room which was spacious, clean and well presented. I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave, fridge as well as facility to make hot drinks with coffee, tea and hot chocolate provided. The shower room was spacious and included towels, shower gel, shampoo and hand and body lotion. Although I did not request breakfast the price was reasonable and the seating area looked pleasant. There was also free parking, a guest utility room, an iron and ironing board. The property is walking distance to the centre of the town so there were plenty of options to eat.

My room was located on the ground floor with the windows kerbside so people and cars passing could be heard. However, the night I was there the noise did not cause any problems and I had a pleasant sleep.

Although I did not book for breakfast, the hospitatility from the moment of arriving was warm and welcoming. I was able to use the car parking facility 2 hours before check in, I was then informed I could check in immediately at no extra cost. The staff were friendly, inviting, and I was made to feel very comfortable from the moment of arrival. The room was roomy, clean, bed was soooo comfortable, shower/bathroom spacious, and all the added little extras that make a visit comfortable...... various options of hot drinks, fan, great shower facilities including an informative welcome pack. Excellant location, safe and secure access. Well Done! Would definately stay again and recommend.

Nothing - very satisfied

The property was very clean and well presented. Off street parking was good and good city location. The Manager was nice and helped us get inside due to no wifi we were unable to retrieve our message from her. We thought we paid for breakfast but didn’t but we were able to eat continental breakfast. Lovely Decor.

The tower unit we stayed in only has a toilet downstairs from the bedroom upstairs so a bit unsafe at night for the toilet. Plugs beside the Bed are not normal UK plus but 3 prong ones so was unable to use my CPAC machine and no one onsite to help something to be aware of although was told in the morning I could have got an extension cord but this would I cure a charge for call out I assume.

We liked everything about our stay. The room was very clean, serviced daily, and had all the essentials, including a fridge. Although we didn’t have breakfast, the facilities were great. The staff were very nice. The communication before check-in was clear and helpful. Parking was available nearby, which was convenient.

The only small downside was that the room overlooked the street, so it was a bit noisy at times, but not a big issue for us.

We were able to park easily and locate our room key exactly as instructed. When I booked the room I didn't realize that there was an annex to the property, so was surprised on entering how spacious it was and also that it had a small kitchen area that we hadn't expected. The hot drinks tray was very generously stocked with a very good selection (with instructions on how to replenish if necessary) so we could have more than one cup of tea :) We found the room very comfortable and quite and very well designed with good mirrors and convenient surfaces.

The only slightly potentially negative point was the lighting. The bedside lamps had very dark purple shades that only served as 'mood lighting' and the overhead spotlights were rather brash when lying in bed watching TV. We compromised by using the angle poise lamp on the desk as an uplighter, which was fine for telly watching but useless if one of us had wanted to read a book. Overall it didn't impact our experience too much, but may be worth installing reading lights on the headboard.

I didn't get the notification that Breakfasts must be pre-booked in advance so had to go elsewhere for the first morning There's an alleyway running along the back of the annex and as its on the ground floor I didn't want to leave the window open for security - quite noisy at times There are very few car parking spaces on-site - don't park in the Barclays car park

The hotel is very nice. It's in an older building just 2 mins away from the centre of the town. We didn't have breakfast so I can't tell you what they served but the breakfast area was nice and cosy. We had the Tower Suite which was on two levels. The ground room has a small kitchenette with what you would need. (no hob, no washing machine, no dishwasher). It has microwave oven and cutlery. The bathroom is on this floor. Upstairs there is a nice open space bedroom with a tub if you want to relax. The rooms were clean and very cosy.

Two things we have found that I think need attention: - very small parking. there is free overnight parking to the right of the hotel how you are exiting. - the chairs in the downstairs room are very wobbly so I would be very careful especially with children that the don't fall and break or injure them selves.

We did not breakfast at the hotel but eat en-route to the destinations we were visiting. A well as the smiley faces for staff/cleanliness/value/facilities/comfort/location I would say that the nicest thing about our room was that it was spacious. It also had a large fan which was welcome as we visited on one of the hottest weekends of the year. There was also a fridge to cool our drinks and a corkscrew too.

The room was lovely and spotless. We loved having a big bathtub in the bedroom/living room area! The bathroom was stunning, too. The bed was really comfy and gave us a real home-feeling. We wanted new towels the next day and the staff delivered, as well as remade our bed - thank you so much for an enjoyable experience! We shall be back again!

It was a little noisey in the morning, but it wasn't anything major. :)

Very clean, central, character building. There’s a fridge and microwave in the room and a ‘utility closet’ off the main corridor with plates, utensils, kitchen sink, iron and board, if that’s what you require. There is parking for around 6 vehicles, very tight, first come first serve. I got my large vehicle in one time, the other time parked overnight at Market St. car park over the road. It was free until 8am. Excellent stay.

Couldn’t fault it
