We loved the pool area, the old warm charm, the beautiful grounds and gardens, the gas fireplaces in the room, the fine linens.

The breakfast isn’t great. Limited food options and staff are run off their feet. At times, very slow service getting a drink from the pool area. Some ground floor rooms have poor privacy.

Our whole experience staying at Kenwood Inn & Spa has been amazing. The place is gorgeous, unique, and crafted with great taste. We felt like we had traveled far away, in a very protected and cozy bubble. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the massage at the spa was amazing.

The only thing I would change is the music played outside in the garden by the pool before 8 am on Sunday morning because I could hear it from our room. Not that it woke me up, but I would wait until 9 am before playing it.

Very unique romantic property. The staff goes out of their way to be of service to you. They give you a tour of the property upon arrival. You might think you traveled to Europe with the beautiful landscaped grounds, courtyard seating around a fountain for your enjoyment. Complimentary wine tasting every night, hot coffee bar available all day, fresh baked cookies available in the reception area, and lovely breakfast room for a complimentary start to your day. Suite was well appointed with a fireplace that we truly enjoyed.

We found nothing we didn’t like.

The property was immaculate, comfortable and so beautiful. Each area of the property offered beautiful landscapes that were serene and made you feel peace. Our room was near the water wheel, which we enjoyed each morning from our bedroom window.

My one and only complaint was my experience with the spa, which is a 3rd party and not part of the hotel. There was some confusion regarding our spa reservation that seemed to be corrected the night before but the next morning, the spa staff was unaware if we had a reservation. My husband and I were scheduled for a 180 min massage but ended up having to do a 80 min massage due to the misunderstanding. My husband raved about his experience but my massage was mediocre. My massage therapist did not ask my preference on pressure and seemed to have long nails which scratched me throughout my experience. For the price of the massage, I was very disappointed in the organization of scheduling and quality.

I just checked out, and I can’t stop thinking about this incredible property! Nestled in a quiet area of wine country, it’s the perfect escape from the more crowded spots. The front desk staff were so lovely and helpful, and the architecture made me feel like I was in a European retreat. The lush gardens, blooming roses, and the peaceful sound of water features throughout the property create an atmosphere of pure relaxation. They also offer spa services, and the pool area was a delight—complete with complimentary sunscreen and water refill stations throughout. Every detail was well thought out. The rooms are spotless and modern, and the beds were unbelievably comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud! I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!

Great location centrally situated near more wineries you can visit in a weekend. The large bathtubs were luxurious. The open layout of room 24 above the lobby almost felt cavernous and had heavy shutters and white noise tech by the bed to help sound insulate. Room 5 next to the pool had a more intimate, bungalow-like feel.

They could use more towel bars/hooks for the generous number of towels and robes they provide. I guess I've just never gotten use to throwing my wet towels on the floor because I don't do that at home. Not really a complaint, just a design flaw of every hotel I've ever booked.

Pools and grounds were great and not over-crowded. Wine hour in the courtyard was very nice. The staff was very professional and provided good guidance on dining options.

The floor in my room was concrete... seemed a bit dangerous with wet feet from the shower. There was no tub. The breakfast was just ok... I'd have expected a bit more from such a place. Getting out onto the highway (which can also be a bit noisy) is a bit challenging. Hot tub had a lot of bugs floating in it.

This is a truly magical place of peace, comfort, and a profound kindness from the all, ALL THE STAFF! The Kenwood Inn far exceeds my wife and my expectations and was the perfect retreat from busy iives. We promised ourselves a wonderful time out, and ahhhhhh we found it here. We will be back, and back. This is not just another hotel. This is a landscape of rest, service, and tranquility that will transport you, I promise!!!

Lovely Inn and our stay was pleasant. Able to check in early. Strong communication via text prior to arrival. Cookies upon arrival were spectacular and the front desk person was delightful. The property is quite nice and we were given a very nice tour of the property in route to the room. The location, though it sits extremely close to the the highway, is quite nice.

Only two issues that we ran into during our one night stay......the room itself was quite closed off and lacked any view at all, and the TV kept turning itself on in the middle of the night and we had to finally get up and unplug it from power. I would expect the TV to be replaced/repaired and this would not be an issue for another traveler. There are many other beautiful rooms at this Inn, so our advice is to just be selective in advance when choosing.

Gorgeous Tuscan style villa. Yasmin at front desk is an awesome host, professional and so pleasant! Outdoor fireplaces, social areas, evening wine, spa services, large hot pool, lounges and plenty of areas to sit at regular pool area, delicious chef made breakfasts, great location. King garden room with fireplace and view of water wheel very comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom shower and table/chairs outside our private front door.
