The room was of very good size, with a huge bathroom and a great spa bath, with a large comfortable bed. Everything was soooo clean and the host was very hospitable and accommodating.

Unfortunately we did not account for the fact that there is a nightclub over the road or that the street sweeper would be going around early in the morning . Consequently we only managed four hours sleep. As the room was very cold due to the time of year, we would like to suggest that the heater is turned on maybe a few hours prior to guest arrival, as it did take some time for the room to become a comfortable temperature.

Breakfast provided was adequate although a bit more toast would have been appreciated. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was good. Room was large and comfortable

The rear fire escape is dangerous (nearest to room ) I went down to the car at night and fell off the edge at the bottom of the stairs There was no signage and lighting was inadequate. A barrier needs to be erected ASAP. If there was a fire, this would be a real issue. I fell and hurt my knee and foot when I went to walk down what I thought were stairs but was in fact a close to a half metre drop. I was very lucky that I am tough although having said that my knee is still extremely sore (I think I chipped my bone)

Super comfy bed, an assortment of pillow styles (soft, medium, firm) wow, very roomy spaces, great bathroom. Huge mirror, iron provided, two keys instead of having to share the one, parking provided, walking distance from everything in town, great vibe with the artworks in the lobby. Staff were super friendly and professional and helpful. Would definitely stay again. The Commission (pub next door) 10/10 amazing space and food.

Honestly nothing. You have to walk up a couple flights of stairs which we were happy to do but could be an issue for elderly vacationers. TV was small but we didn't go to Burnie to watch TV.

Access to our room Stairs to front and back access made it very difficult to get luggage to and from our car Because we had been on the road for over 3 weeks we needed to sort out our cases Was a dangerous staircase from the car park and not much better from the front

Comfortable bed and beautiful sheets! The heater was put on before my arrival which meant it was lovely and warm in side. The restaurant downstairs was recommended to me by the person who checked me in, and the food was really lovely.

The only thing that could have been a bit better were the blinds in my room. I sleep better in darkness, and the blinds let in the street light - only minor and wouldn't affect me staying at the hotel again.

Absolutely loved our stay, easy access and parking. Gorgeous big room and bed! Love the featured mirror. And customer service was great! Such a nice space.

The only thing I could say, was the bath was ever so slightly unclean. And no air conditioning, as it was quite a hot day the room was very warm! Although there was a fan, which we had on all night as it was very hot!

Really nice room well located. Large well appointed and relaxing. Mini bar was good and affordable. Room a little hot on a sunny day but windows did open. Spa was lovely but just too small for a larger person. Stairs a little hard to use for older person although there was a clear offer of help with the baggage Reception staff member was lovely and friendly and informative. We will definately stay again.

Massive room - and I mean MASSIVE! Could have swung several cats and they wouldn't have touched the walls let alone each other. Great heritage building that has been done up to be quite modern with all the mod cons. They even included some complimentary breakfast cereals/juice/milk/yoghurt. Perfect location in Burnie and the reception was super helpful with recommendations for local food/drink. Off street parking behind the hotel with the option for a secure parking area just a street over.

Good location in the centre of Burnie a block from the waterfront. Complimentary cereals & yoghurt provided and a well stocked bar fridge. The Ember & Vines restaurant on the ground floor (not part of the hotel) is excellent.

The hotel is on the first and second floor but no lift. However, the receptionist carried our bag up from the street.

The sense of spaciousness and old world charm. The building has been lovingly restored honouring historical architectural features including soaring ceilings, cornices, embossing ceilings, original window and door frames, with modern touches throughout. Very cosy, quiet and private.
