The room was vey comfortable, clean and wifi worked well. Staff were particularly helpful and friendly as well as being flexible. We arrived late at 8pm due to a flat tyre and attempt at Duck Bill Platypus watching and we were checked in quickly. The host gave us restaurant recommendations for this late hour and we got in, the restaurant staying open after we called ahead. In the morning we had not pre-ordered breakfast in the rush to eat, however, we were quickly supplied with an adequate continental breakfast. We had a great recommendation for a tyre repair shop. Particularly good customer service.

We would stay here again, it was good value. We stayed in the combined family room, which was two hotel rooms together with an interconnecting door. Had a microwave, toaster and cutlery and crockery. Also had smoke alarms which sometimes smaller accommodation places don’t have.

We were quite comfortable because it was the start of spring, and the heaters kept us warm enough, but it might be different in winter. The heaters were plug in panels style, so I didn’t feel safe leaving on overnight and they did not have a timer to turn on for the morning. The bathroom had a very effective exhaust fan linked to the light switch, which I think could be cold in the winter.

The room was good. The bed new very comfortable with good linen. The motel was still being upgraded as new air conditioning was being installed in the room and throughout the complex. The weather was still chilly so only needed the heating. The manager was very well informed about the local area and obliged a late check in. Its easy to find and just 200m out of the town where there's several cafes.

No complaints. It is an older motel but is clean and comfortable. Great bed tho.

The position was great. Good parking and an extremely comfortable bed. On arrival we met Liam ( at reception) and he was extremely welcoming and friendly. This is a great place to stay, and value for money.

The room may have been a bit old and dated, but it had everything we needed, and was exceptionally clean. It could do with a washing up sponge and some detergent, to enable the cleaning of the cups and plates. Also the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work..

Staff are amazingly helpful. My room was awesome, and I had a different garden and forested view which was interesting. My favourite tea and coffee and snack were available, with the ability to purchase some more on the go snacks for a busy and relaxing schedule. Great shows on t.v that night and free Wi-Fi very helpful for travelling.

My sleep was disturbed in the early hours, and this was inconvenient when I was feeling slightly unwell.

Everything! The hosts were very accommodating. We embarked from the Spirit of Tasmania on New Year's Day and nothing was opened so we headed straight to the motel. Even though we were quite early, they got us a room so we could freshen up. We were there for 5 nights. Room was very comfy and clean. The motel is in a very nice area in Somerset - quiet, walking distance to shops, cafes, IGAs, and buses to Burnie and Wynyard, across from a park and river, and a short walk to the beach.

The management and staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about the area, we only booked for 1 night but ended up staying 3 nights. Great location, walk to the river and beach. The Jetty restaurant that is attached to the motel is a great place to eat and extremely handy.

Fantastic location off the highway across from the river Cam. Extremely comfortable bed and great in room facilities.

Check in process and having to give a card to cover "possible" use of snacks available in the room! For some unknown reason they couldn't use the same card which paid for the room but accepted the same card! (Are you confused yet?) Suggest they scrap the "minibar" as there are shops around the corner! The bathroom door catches on the frame and is coming apart. These are minor things - we would stay there again!

My Wife and I enjoyed our stay at Best Western Murchison Lodge. The room and bed were very comfortable with everything we needed. Management and staff were so easy to deal with which made our stay uncomplicated.

No dislikes about this accommodation . We didn't stay long enough.

The location was great for exploring the coast. We had 2 rooms booked one of which we received a free upgrade to a king size room, on them so we were closer to our travel buddies. which was a lovely gesture. The rooms were extremely clean and spacious. Beds were super comfy. The whole property was very well maintained. LIAM was just fantastic. Super friendly and he couldn’t do enough for us and he even supplied us with REAL MILK 😀 We had a great stay. Thank you LIAM
