Clean, well equipped room and large comfortable bed. The staff were first rate; very helpful and friendly and really went the extra mile to make sure I was well looked after. The car park was large and secure and the reception staff even helped to store our bikes in a secure room inside the hotel.

The current road works all around central Le Mans make finding the hotel car park very difficult. However this is no fault of the hotel at all. They did send a message prior to my stay but sat navs find it very difficult to avoid all of the road closures. The reception staff helped a lot to ease the finding of the car park and I did located it in the end.

This was a much improved visit than our first stay 2 weeks earlier. On both occasions I had booked a suite, on the first visit (booked with Accor) the room was dark, it didn't have a balcony and there was no welcome or effort made. On this visit, booked with Booking.com, the welcome was excellent, we had a lovely room with a balcony and a welcome gift. I have learned a lesson, stick with Booking.com (the only reason I hadn't booked with them on the way out was due to them not having availability). A special mention to Aurelia (sorry it that's not quite the right spelling) who was so lovely, professional but also chatty and helpful. It can make all the difference. Overall I would book this hotel again, but with Booking.com.

I always have fruit salad and yoghurt for breakfast but the hotel had used grapefruit in the fruit salad which meant I couldn't eat it. I think it is worth them knowing that grapefruit is an absolute no-no to anyone who is on blood pressure tablets or statins - very dangerous for them. I would also have liked fresh coffee so I could have decaffeinated, a machine serving coffee in a 4* hotel is somewhat disappointing.

The breakfast was included and excellent. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Lovely pastries and fruit set out for tea time.

We booked 2 rooms, one for a single woman and one for a couple. It was odd that they gave the single woman the room with the queen bed and the couple the room with single beds. Since she had unpacked, we didn't switch but it seems like the receptionist would have assigned the rooms accordingly. From the location it was easy to walk to the historic town and the Jardin, or catch the metro to the 24 Hour Le Mans Museum.

Our room and bathroom were both incredibly spacious and comfortable. Parking was convenient once I finally got to ask about the location at the front desk. My husband idled outside for almost 10 minutes while she was on the phone and when I came back from giving him directions, she was helping someone else so all in all, checkin took almost 20 minutes. But the room had a lot of old character and was the biggest we’ve had in the last 3 weeks of travel.

I didn’t feel very welcomed during the 20-minute checkin. It would have been nice to just receive a little wave of acknowledgment. The location makes for a pretty uninteresting walk of about 15 minutes to get to a restaurant.

Great Parking for our large estate Car, one open car park and one underground I believe.(See piccy of my Car at back left) Staff were great and we had a Free upgrade to an Executive Room, really nice size room, we are those people that are never Lucky to get upgrades so that was good. Location on edge of City good, short walk to most areas. GO visit Old Town, Cite De Plantagenet.

IF you upgrade people to a better Room with a Nice Coffee Machine, please give more than two Coffees to drink .... I wonder how busy the Parking gets if you are late in, the rear Car Park seems to share a bit with other Hotels out the back.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The kindness and professionalism of the staff were truly remarkable — they did everything they could to make our stay not just comfortable, but genuinely enjoyable. A special thank you to the gentleman who accompanied us; he was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to help us. We truly appreciated his warm attitude and support throughout our stay.

A grand hotel that still has special ambience. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Our room (421) was impressive with a cupola ceiling and spacious bathroom. Very dog friendly so we were able to eat and drink with our pet in the restaurant and bar.

A bit tricky to find during the current road upheavals in Le Mans so maybe the hotel could provide some up to date information to drivers who are trying to get to the parking.

Love the hotel itself, and the staircase is awesome! Staff friendly and efficient. Room clean, bed fabulous, bathroom spotless and well supplied. We ate evening meal in - food pleasant but not outstanding. Limited choice. Staff excellent. Breakfast excellent- wide range of hot and cold fare, pastries, breads and even home made cake. Which was delicious. Parking good too.

They had a coffee maker in the room but no pots of milk. We got a jug sent up from the kitchen.

Lovely hotel, the building being converted from that of a former insurance company, with some very nice architecture. The room was large and well appointed, the bathroom was great. The staff, reception, bar and breakfast was all very good, along with car parking on site that was easy to access. A very pleasant and relaxed experience throughout.

Access to Netflix and other streaming platforms was restricted on the Smart TV?!

Location near the centre was good. Roads were under construction so quiet for a city centre. Directions to car park were good to deal with roadworks. Bathroom and room facilities good.

Car park far too small. Breakfast not great. Just 2 coffee pods for the nespresso machine (1 of which was decaffinated) was a bit mean.
