Very convenient location in the city center for a few days, friendly staff and cool design. They helped in understanding how to deal with the pedestrian zone and provided a discount rate for a local public parking

Access to the hotel (rooms and reception) goes via a single elevator which is often busy, so every movement requires a bit of waiting time. The bathroom is one thing with the bedroom, sink and shower at right aside the bed, while the WC is at least in a no window small “room”. Didn’t like this setup. Also beware of the limitations to access the hotel area, it’s in pedestrian zone as very clearly explained and mentioned.

It is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony. There was also a safe. The room was nicely furnished and even had a little reading nook filled with cushions. The hotel is secure, entry to guest floors is only possible with a key card. They offer a breakfast which is part buffet and part a la carte which is quite varied, and the quality of the food is excellent. The view from the restaurant is spectacular with not only a view of the alps, but the city tower as well. The staff is invariably friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a perfect location. The famous Golden Roof is steps away. When you check in, you are given a welcome card which gives you access to the public transportation system for the length of your stay. We very much enjoyed ourselves. It was a highlight of our multi-city tour of Central Europe. I highly recommend it.

A serendipitous find and a gem of a 600 year old historic hotel in the heart of Old Town Salzburg. The Mozart Suite ( apparently Mozart stayed there!) ,we stayed in was definitely OTT complete with even a billiards table in the centre of the room, a four poster bed and a "throne", but oh so fun. The hotel is run by owner Brigitte Steixner and she oversees the daily operations of the hotel. The hospitality she exhibited was above and beyond the call of duty-incredible personalized service. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the service staff were friendly and cheery. The evenings seemed to have a different vibrant energy with the restaurant serving as a pub- - with a younger local crowd. Loved everything about the hotel.

Nothing in particular. Though if you travelling with children or friends, the Mozart suite may not be the most ideal- since the bathrooms are kind of open. Perhaps the other regular rooms or suites might be better.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the staff were absolutely amazing - very professional, friendly, genuine in their conversation, and so, so helpful. Every single person was totally geared up for helping make our stay a memorable one, with nothing too much trouble. It is difficult to single out anyone in particular but, if we had to, then it would have to be Ilenya, as she was always willing to go that little bit further. The hotel was truly different, quirky even, so much so that every time we walked into the reception area (on the 6th floor!) we felt special.

Nothing.

Everything! The location is perfect, and the staff were so attentive. The welcome drink was lovely, and their bar is fantastic. I really wish we had spent more time here. The whole facility felt luxurious and also peaceful in such a busy town center. I booked two different room types and we ended up with two of the bigger rooms which was a lovely surprise.

I would have liked a coffee machine in the room. However, we were invited for a coffee up at the bar, which was better than anything I could have made. I also realise other room types my have them.

Staff where excellent and very welcoming. We where greeted and checked in by Lea, who was great and gave us some valuable tips for dining etc. The owner also greeted us with a welcome drink, which was a nice touch. The location is perfect for exploring innsbruck and is located in the centre. The room size was brilliant and the overall fittings where great, with a comfortable bed. Breakfast option was perfect, lots of variety from a buffet and then hot options from the menu. Overall, the staff and location make this hotel!

The only point we could comment on is the upstairs bar (6th floor), was not open during the day for guests. We tried on day to get a soft drink or coffee on day and was told the bar area was not open until 6pm. It would be great if the hotel could open the bar area for guests, so they can have a coffee during the day. Other than this I could not fault the hotel and this is more of a suggestion than a negative.

The breakfast is incredible, very fresh and healthy. Location is in the center of the old town, everything that is a must see in Innsbruck you can walk from here. I think also the bar of the hotel is one of the most popular ones, it looks most fancy, and the food is also of the night restaurant great. Almost all restaurants in the center serve the same typical austrian food. The place is more luxurious and higher quality than most places you find in Innsbruck.

The pillows of the bed are a bit hard, and the cleaning ladies didn't refill our teas, nor put clean teacups. Also for TV, there is no streaming possible, it's only german tv, so for many other international guests useless.

Good location in the heart of Innsbruck. The staff were fantastic and attentive. The breakfast was wonderful with a combination of a buffet and cook-to-order items. Very uniquely decorated hotel.

If you arrive by car you must lug your luggage 400m from a parking lot. However at time of departure you are allowed to drive in the pedestrian zone right to the hotel front door. The hotel was completely renovated during Covid but in a short period of time some of the rooms, ours included, have become raggedy with scraped walls and damaged fixtures. Another couple traveling with us had an impeccable room so maybe some rooms are fine. There also was a faint odor in our room. The staff, however, offered to move us. Be aware that there is no air conditioning at night. Our room was too warm and when the windows were open it was too noisy. The second night we were provided with a fan.

the hotel is in the heart of the Old Town, easy to locate, close to shops and sights. One must take the elevator to the 6th floor, to the bar/breakfast location where there is also the reception. The staff was very pleasant and helpfull- The room was tiny but very cozy with a balcony and a nice view. It was also very quiet. The breakfast was amazing a lot of varieties from local produce. i liked the fact that not a sound could be heard from the bar in the 6th floor. The house itself is amazing, very nice and well preserved, full of history and interesting artifacts

the price was a bit steep but one can understand that given the Christmas season is just starting and a source told me there was 0 room availibility in the city of Salzburg that weekend. the hotel is a 4* yet i missed a coffee machine or an electric kettle in my room (i am not mentioning a mini fridge, because it was cold and i used the balcony). And the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was soft and used. All this was fine for two night (=not extremely tragic) and the location and the views compensated more that enough.

Very helpful staff with booking skiing, transport, where to eat (named some really nice restaurants which we used) and really helped me out when our Welcome Card was not working at a ski lift by emailing me some more.

It was only a minor shame that reception is on floor 6 and our room was on floor 4. You have to use the lift most of the time and this could be a little cramped. There were stairs but these are not open at floor 6 onto reception. My son does not like lifts and I think it would be good if the stairs were available.
