Located right on the main square the location cant be faulted. It was a very grand looking building and gave an immediately good impression upon arrival. We arrived too early to go to our rooms but the reception staff processed our check in and stored baggage for us. They also gave us a bottle of local wine to drink whilst the registration process happened. When we went to our 2 adjacent rooms later in the afternoon they were beautiful with views from small balconies overlooking the square and the cathedral. There was an issue that we had double beds not the singles we had booked and as we were a party of four male friends this was a bit of a deal breaker. When I mentioned this to the reception they arranged for the housekeeping team to change the arrangement to single beds an hour later when we went back out. Excellent service so I wont be recording this as an issue. Breakfast provided an large and high quality selection of foods with friendly and helpful staff on hand. When we were due to leave we had to check out an hour before we actually left. We were told that we would have to walk to the railway station some 15mins away to get a taxi as they didnt come into the historical section of town but the reception staff ordered us one that picked up outside the hotel. They also offered a glass of wine and/or cold water whilst we sat waiting. Excellent service all round.

There was noting here that caused us even the slightest of issues.

The attention to detail ensuring everything is in place and the enthusiasm of the staff that not only were we satisfied but we were happy. The location is great. The Breakfast is superb. It is a very relaxing experience with no rush. The offer to turn the beds down, the welcoming drink and the afternoon chocolates, not expected these days, but very much appreciated. This is truly a 5 star hotel in more ways than one.

It is very hard to find fault with this hotel

The hotel location is excellent with lovely views over the market square. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The lighting in the bedroom could be better, especially near the bedroom mirror. It would be nice to have a smart TV in the room, which is becoming standard in many hotels now.

Size, location, polite staff, good and diverse breakfast

Had the bad luck to face the full 'might' of the noisy 'Brazil fest', but this was not the fault of the hotel, of course. I think that no building can be sufficiently sound proof to counter the ridiculous volume and bass level of the noises made in the central market of the city during this festival.

Breakfast was excellent. We really enjoyed it. There was lots of choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was beautiful.

There was nothing we didn't like! We didn't realise there was a fridge in the room as it looked like a cupboard in between the arm chairs!

onyx tower room 505 - one of best in this price range where I spent my time. Amazing. Really 5stars. Lot of hotels restaurants are horrible - NOT in this case! And the landscape from room terase - perfect.

The hotel room view and the located near the main station and everything close by. Specially thanks to Mohamed at the reception he was very helpful. Thanks to the receptionist who checked us in/out both were kind.

I was required to pay a 100 euro security deposit to cover any potential orders or damages. This was quite disappointing, as none of the other hotels I have stayed at in Brno have asked for such a deposit.

Great location. Great breakfast. Our room was perfect (junior suite) for a little toddler. Gorgeous views of the Xmas markets, that comes as a cost with the noise level, but it was expected. Majority of the staff were great.

No step free access. Carrying a child plus a pram, and suitcases; was very tricky getting in and out of hotel. Also no sign of a belly boy / help nearby. They seemed to be on a cigarette break a lot of the time/not present. Majority of the staff were great, however the receptionist when we checked in, barely smiled, gave one word answers and was inhospitable towards us. Although she gave the information required, there was a lack of engagement and or customer service. For the money we paid, we would expect better in these areas at least.

Everyone was very kind! The minibar didnt work when we checked in, and in an hour it was ok! They solved it soon.

The hotel is in a great location in Brno old town, facing the “vegetable market” square and with views up to the Cathedral. It is close to the major historical sites that are in easy walking distance, including the Castle and busier main square. Plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants and shops nearby. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were fortunate to have been offered a room upgrade to a suite, which was much appreciated. The room was large and airy, well equipped and tastefully furnished with good open views of the square. The breakfast buffet was extensive with plenty of cold and hot food selections available, including barista coffee to order. The staff were very also attentive. Overall, a very enjoyable stay that we would be happy to repeat.
