A beautiful hotel with excellent location. I absolutely loved the gorgeous building, full of beams, the strairs were gorgeous and the patio amazing. I love this style so it was perfect for me. My husband also loved it. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. They seemed genuinely nice, not just because they have to work there. Breakfast was wonderful! They have a very good variety. My favourite was tomato and olive oil on toast, with serrano ham, and everything was delicious. The ladies in charge of the breakfast room were also incredibly nice. The room was beauriful, with a high ceiling full of beams, and the bed was super comfy. Air conditioning was superb, which was a plus as it was very hot in August. Location is spot on to explore both the Albaicín and the area of the cathedral. We could not have wished for a better stay in Granada. I fell in love with the city and the great atmosphere day and night. The Alhambra visit was amazing.... I will go back as soon as I can!

This is an old house converted into a hotel, located in the centre of the Albicin / Arab area. The staff are really good and very helpful. Good location for visiting Granada, lots of options for restaurants, shopping and generally wandering the streets.
It is not easy getting to the hotel as you have to get off near the hotel and carry your bags up a small flight to stairs and similarly when checking out. The rooms were quite small and the bathroom was the smallest bathroom I have been to in all my travels, it is literally impossible for two persons to be in the bathroom at one time. It is an old building that was converted into a hotel so I guess it will have its plusses and minuses.

The staff was super helpful, day or night. The breakfast was quite enjoyable and priced well compared to going out to eat. Also, was available till 11am, which is good for vacationers who want to sleep in a little.
The building across the alley was under construction, so the early morning until 1pm was very noisy with workers doing their job. Ear plugs helped. We moved rooms after the 4th night. Second room was still a little noisy, but not so bad, but was smaller. When the construction ends, it'll be a perfect place to stay :-)

Amazing location, we could see the Alhambra from our top floor (room 22). It is at the bottom of the albaicin so if you didn't want to climb up and down the hill everyday you didn't have to! Room was perfectly sized and very clean, the bed was comfortable with two types of pillow (one firm, one soft) so we had a really good night's sleep. The bathroom was small, with one of the smaller showers I have seen, but was perfectly functional, no issues with running out of hot water.
We were very satisfied with our stay, and would be happy to stay again. The only point of improvement that I could see would be breakfast. It was fine with a small selection of everything including: cereal/bread/yoghurt/fruit/ cold meat & cheese/ warm mini sausages/sweet muffins & cake. The quality was not amazing, some of the fruit was quite hard and the pastries/muffins were quite dry and not enjoyable. In saying that it is not expensive, it is continuously replenished and the hours of 8am - 11am are generous so you can have a long leisurely breakfast.

It was very close to everything. Easy to walk and get around. Breakfast was good.
The rooms and bathroom were very small. It was a little uncomfortable for two people and we really only wanted to be in there to sleep. Parking was in a garage a bit of a hike away and they offered a discount but it was only 2 Euro off. Not that big of a discount.

What I loved most about this hotel was the location—you truly can’t beat it! It’s incredibly central, within walking distance of the Alhambra Palace, just a block or two from all the main transportation options, and very close to the Cathedral of Granada. In my opinion, the location is unbeatable. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the hotel itself had such a warm and inviting atmosphere. The building has an elevator, which made getting around even easier. Breakfast was pretty good—very complete with a variety of fresh fruits, cereal and milk, eggs, meats, cheese, coffee, tea, jams, and an assortment of breads. It was a great way to start each day! We rented more than one room. Mine was quiet, but one of the rooms experienced a bit of noise when a guest was leaving with their luggage. Even so, it was a lovely stay overall, and I felt it offered great value. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Granada and would happily stay here again!

We were blown away by the location and charm of this hotel, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the rooms were full of history and charm. To be able to stay in a 700 year old property was beyond our dreams. The way the bathrooms were integrated in to such an old property was so well done. The beds were very comfortable, the room although a bit small compared to some modern places we stayed was so lovely with it's shuttered windows and views on to the courtyard we couldn't fault it. Highly recommend the Casa del Capitel Nazari for a stay in Granada and we hope to be back to soak up more of this beautiful city. We booked with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law and they were able to give a rooms right next to each other.
The lift was a bit clunky and noisy but we needed to use it to get luggage to the 2nd floor but once we realised it was serviceable and not going to break down we were OK. It became something to laugh about in the end.

The accommodation is beautiful, rooms are kept clean daily. Wonderful that it is a historic building and the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We couldn't at first figure out how to get in the hotel. It's a pretty big wooden door, and you have to ring the bell on the right-hand side. So security is really good. Well located to walk everywhere.
There was absolutely nothing we didn't like.. We have recommended it to others and would definitely return back to Casa del Capitel Nazari.

The place is a beautiful location and a wonderful building! It is set up in the more tradition with the rooms around the edges of the balcony overlooking the area that's the breakfast room in the sitting areas. In addition, they have a whole series of tables and sitting areas that you can use to have a drink to cool off at the end of a hike or sightseeing day. However, I would also say one of the main highlights is the staff at the front desk who gave excellent suggestions for Flamenco or tapas and they were so kind and generous with directions and ideas for places to sightsee and walk! That really made the difference for us. Rooms were lovely in decoration and pristine clean! And they stayed beautifully cool even when the weather was very hot 40° C one day.
Everything was great and really exceeded my expectations!

Wonderful stay! Had a bit of a hike to arrive (the fault of google maps, not the hotel! And found a much more convenient bus when departing!), but so lovely! Great location to access the old city, tons of shops, restaurants, and sights to see in walking distance. The Alhambra is a 15-20 minute walk, and San Nicolas viewpoint also 15 minutes away. The hotel is so beautiful, feels like stepping back in time (in a very pleasant, clean way). The front desk staff (Adrian in particular) were excellent, providing great advice about where to go and what to see. The breakfast is very reasonably priced and is excellent (and Maria who looks after the breakfast is wonderful and efficient, and makes an excellent tortilla!). The room was compact but comfortable, nice beds, good water pressure in the shower. Overall, I would recommend this lovely hotel.
no complaints!
