The hotel is a old-school ryokan transformed into a hotel, definitely on the newer end and the design is comforting but looks older as compared to other cities. The location is difficult to get to if you do not drive. Only food options are in the hotel and some restaurants opposite the road.

Omg 😲 wow , wow. From the outside of the hotel, it looks lovely, but as soon as we walked into the lobby, it was like an oasis. We waited to get our room organised, and we sat in these beautiful seats surrounded by water. Complimentary drink. Heavenly.

It was an excellent stay. We were traveling almost a month and I would say this place was one of top that I stayed. It can be difficult to get here without a car but it’s really worth it. Our room was ocean view with private outdoor bath but the public bath was just wonderful. I wish my time has stopped right there. We had French dinner at the hotel. I thought the restaurant lighting was little too bright for that kind of fancy dining place but I see my meal very well.

Staff were trained very well, I suppose. I wanted to wonder around the hotel to see what’s in the other end but one of staff asked me where I need to go, I sensed that I should not be wondering around?

Large rooms and great views.. the little private onsen is a plus.

Nice staff, but unflexible in some situations. We arrived early and it was clear to me that the room will not be ready. However, when we arrived, we have not been greeted at all, the very first we got to hear was: the room is not ready before 3pm! The moment it was 3, all of a sudden we have been welcomed (!), a hot towel was offered and a drink. Good customer service would have welcomed us immediately, offered the hot towel and the drink when we arrived - the fact that we had to wait for the room was anyway unavoidable. So instead of creating an atmosphere of feeling welcomed and taken care of, it left me feel unwelcomed and a disturbing factor. Being all of a sudden welcomed later, only felt like a robot move. 出る釘は打たれる

- private bath was amazing because we were facing the water and the moon and so we could see the city and water while we were taking a dip in the onsen - the room itself was huge with multiple different sections of the room. it was pretty much like having a full 1 bedroom apartment. - there was a deck that faced the water which was beautiful - the beds were very comfortable - everything was very clean

- the regular showers did not have hot water. this was probably just broken for our unit but not really sure why it happened.

Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, great facilities. A full apartment with pool, Jacuzzi, and hotspring. Two bedrooms, a kitchenette, big tv and sofa area. The facilities were great although we never ate in the restaurants.

No early cheking availability, which is fair, but we arrived in the city early in the morning (and they did keep our luggage, which was put in our room for us before checkin) There was very little food delivery options. For some reason nobody would deliver to the area codes around the hotel. No laundry service at hotel.

Amazing accommodation and great stay !!! I'd like to say the photoes in the hotel websites cannot show how good is the hotel room and how good is the seaside view. The seaside it not talking about the clear water and blue sky but peaceful sea with sunset view. My family felt 100% relax when enjoying the onsan in the private onsan room. The space design of the room is excellent and accommodates to each guests' needs. The breakfast is as great as what the other travelers' comments on the hotel review. Absolutely you can't miss it. Highly recommend. A great deal of food variety and yummy. Fresh ingredients and freshly made. Additionally the service is very high quality and warm. No adverse comments at all. Love to re-booking next time :)

Room was very spacious and well set up, ocean view with its own onsen. However, air conditioner and safe instructions were only in Japanese. Breakfast buffet was excellent, extensive Japanese selections, limited western choices. Resort is composed of three connected buildings next to busy road and has no grounds or gardens: you go for the onsens, the public facility has an indoor one and an outdoor infinity pool onsen overlooking the ocean.

Room was lovely. A bit far from town. Spa service was amazing. French dinner was great. Japanese dinner was very subpar. My husbands wagyu was four slices perfectly prepared. Mine was three chunks with inedible gristle. The sushi restaurant was closed.

Japanese dinner. As above, the steak was below what is expected. And the service for the Japanese meal was lacking. By the end of the dinner very few dishes were removed. Half the table was littered with dirty glasses and dishes. Very disappointing Room. For whatever reason they gave us a handicapped room. Which was fine except a bathroom (the largest) had a weird mirror, sink etc. Again this was fine but they should have let us know. A family with young kids was above us and their jumping up and down woke us every am at 6. Why not put this family in the Ada room BELOW a couple trying to enjoy quiet time?

The hotel is right in front of the ocean so you can enjoy the ocean view while you enjoy their onsen! I thought the hotel had a swimming pool (from the pictures) but there is no swimming pool. Their breakfast buffet was amazing! Best i’ve had in japan so far! Such a huge selection and delicious! Truly an amazing hotel!

The rooftop onsen was closed for maintenance, i am so disappointed:( it would have been so nice to experience it! :( wish they had a swimming pool.. it was a warm summer day and a soak in the pool would have been perfect.
