Price was excellent. Bed was the most comfortable we’ve stayed on

The manager on duty was rude. We have stayed in many Holiday Inn thru out the US. If we showed up we’ve always been accomdated. If too early we’ve been checked in and said check with me in about and hr. This manager on call was nope we can’t check you in due to security reasons 🤷‍♀️which the parking lot was EMPTY. He then stated do not come back till 4pm. So we left. When I came and at 3:50 there was someone else there. Much more accommodating and apologetic for the previous manager. I know there are rules. Get it. Had the one manager was respectful and kind. I would have just said thanks we’ll see You at 4. Don’t be this way.

The room and staff were just fine.

The restaurant was a real disappointment. The menu on the restaurant’s website looked excellent. When we got there we were given a completely different menu which had basically sandwiches and appetizers. We were told that they served a limited menu on Sunday and Monday nights but we had seen no notice of that. If we had known that in advance we definitely would have chosen another restaurant. The bartender was the only staff which slowed things up. After we asked for the check it was almost 30 minutes before the check was delivered.

Great bar/restaurant. Clean & very nice hotel with great mountain view. All staff (except bartender) were great!

Bartender did poor job. We spent the night on Monday night & a second night the following Friday. Same Bartender both nights. Not attentive at all. Numerous times left the bar with several people at the bar & would be gone 10-15 minutes. When she would return most of the customers had been sitting with empty drinks for several minutes. Nice girl but needs to be more attentive to her customers.

Location was great. The bed was comfortable, which is the most important thing about staying in a hotel!!! Staff friendly. Amazed at the facilities considering there recent hurricane Helene. Thank you. The parking lot was FULL of big work trucks, which warmed my heart. The people of WNC are STILL in great need - knowing the people helping were sleeping close to me felt comforting and reassuring.

The breakfast bar was always excellent. We primarily ate the eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage and fruit. everything was top notch. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and accomodating.

We stress that this is more of an observation, and did not detract from our stay whatsoever, nor would it prevent us from returning (we have stayed at this location repeatedly). There was one day ( i think on July 4th or 5th) that the restaurant was closed due to short-staffing. We have dined not only at the breakfast bar but also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. The fact the restaurant was closed was a minor inconvenience to us, and we totally understand that staffing shortages can be beyond anyone's control.

The attention on the dining area at breakfast was SUPERB. I think her name is Luisa, she was really good, taking care of all the guests with the best attitude and energy. The clean spaces were also amazing and in general, the staff was nice. TV options were also a huge plus.

On Sunday the dining area was closed for dinner, a bit disappointing. Also, the vending machines were poorly equipped with few healthy options, just sodas.

Very nice hotel close to the parkway. Beds are very comfortable, clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast is very good.

There are 3 holiday inn in Asheville. Make sure to put the right address because our GPS kept taking us in different directions. This hotel is outside the downtown. If you want to go dining you will need a car. We did not mind because we had a rental. It was closer to the mountains.

I did not eat the breakfast because we are in hurry to explore biltmore.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel. Perfect location because it is near to everything. Near to Biltmore, near to downtown, near to Blue Ridge Pkwy. Given that I am OCD, this hotel has passed my standard of cleanliness.

This location was perfect for all we wanted to do in Asheville! Quiet, out of the traffic, and we had a beautiful Mountain View. The breakfast each morning was really good.

Originally we were put on the first floor (pet-friendly) but it smelled heavily of pet odor so we asked to move which the staff was very accommodating and put us in a room on the fourth floor! Everything was perfect once we moved.

I am VERY picky about hotels and this was a good one. The hotel itself was updated in decor and not your cookie cutter intestate hotel. It was decorated well and a very cozy vibe with natural wood and stone. The beds were comfortable. Hallways, elevator and all facilities clean. The rooms were very clean as well. The grounds were pretty as well with a walking trail, landscaping and places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. It felt safe. Honestly, it was a better experience than several 4 and 5 star properties we have stayed lately.
