I've stayed in many hotels in Leicester as I travel here often for work. The Gresham is now my go to, great location, comfortable bed, rooms have everything I need including kettle, iron, hairdryer, fridge etc. Although located in the centre, the room itself was quiet at night. Staff were friendly, service is fast. Nice bar and seating area on the ground floor. I can't comment on breakfast as I've never included it as an option. Rooms are reasonably priced. Not every room has a window, but the air conditioning and quiet extractor (for the kitchenette) means that the rooms always feel fresh and not stuffy.

If I had to nitpick, sometimes the temperature of the shower fluctuates a little bit.

We had a wonderful stay for our wedding anniversary. I pre ordered a bottle of champagne. So we could drink this on the terrace.

The shower needed the door to slide the other way .The sink was right up against the door where you had to get in and out of the shower. It made acsess into the shower very awkward. I opened a cupboard and said to my husband you will be pleased there's a safe .However, you could pick it up and walk away with it .It was not screwed down to anything. We did meet the maintenance guy in the lift. So we mentioned it to him .He said he was just finishing his shift. However, he said to report it to reception, and then I can fix it tomorrow. So we did .The receptionist said, "Oh yes, she was aware thatthe safe wasn't screwed down, but because it was on the top floor they hadn't got round to fixing it down. On our return on the 2nd day the safe still hadn't been fixed down .

Fab location Lovely bright apartment Modern and clean Excellent evening meal and breakfasts on both days. Even though staff were extremely busy on the Sunday morning everything was done with a smile Sharon was excellent and happy to oblige whenever we had a query at breakfast She deserves a medal after dealing with all the customers as it became very busy although staff from reception helped out with such pleasure xx 😘 We were part of a wedding party and all members of staff made our weekend memorable and were always pleasant and professional x

Maybe few more items for hospitality tray but when asked for extras more than happy for us to have more

We travelled by train to Leicester for a Cathedral Wedding and walked to The Gresham in about 15 minutes (not rushing). We arrived about 90 minutes early. We were welcomed by our informative Receptionist who said our Room was ready. The Floor doors are opened by our key cards, I like that added security. Our room was spacious, very clean and also had a kitchenette which was fitted out with everything you needed if you wanted to cook yourself. AC was a godsend as it was going to be a hot weekend. The location is in the heart of the city and close to our Venues locations. The Bar is well stocked and very good prices and the Menu has something for everyone and amazing food ( I had the buttermilk chicken coated burger (scrummy) and again, amazing prices. Shereena and Sharon were working and were so pleasant, fun and helpful on our first day/night. On our checkout morning, we ordered breakfast which were great prices and very tasty. It was full of our party Wedding guests including Bride and Groom and Sharon was working serving the guests more or less on her own and SHE was a superstar to keep her cool in such pressure. We just loved our stay and will most definitely recommend The Gresham and hopefully return for a leisure experience.

Be prepared for the hustle, bustle and noise of a City Centre but it didn't bother us at all and glad we decided to take the train because parking can be problematic and work out costly if your staying for a few days.

Lovely stylish hotel with a great vibe. Loved the bar area in the afternoon when the windows opened out onto the street. The facilities in the bedroom (even though we didn't use them) i.e. fridge, microwave, hob. Large spacious room.

No option of fried eggs on breakfast and only one sausage on the veggie full breakfast (which when we don't get bacon is a bit mean). The noise from the ventilation system in the bedroom could be a bit loud at night (and the quiet mode on the wall unit that controls it came up as 'function disabled'!? ). No restaurant on a Sunday evening.

Super location, lovely interior, modern and sophisticated. Big rooms, comfortable bed.

The pillows could be better. Breakfast had very poor organisation. The food was lovely but we had to wait a long time. Continental breakfast was pretty much empty when we arrived at 9.30am and then fully replenished by the time breakfast was at an end. We also stood by breakfast reception for about 10 mins and was ignored. Staff were busy but if they had said we will be with you shortly, it would have made us feel less anxious. It was a real shame as that was our lasting impression after what had been a great stay.

lovely conversion of old Fenwick shop. Very welcoming entrance area which is also a bar. Breakfast delicious and great value. Very spacious room.

On the third floor as you come out of the lift and turn right, then left, the carpeted corridor floor has a sudden small slope which I didn’t see and fell over. I got bad grazing from the carpet and went to reception to ask for a dressing and bandage which they helpfully gave me. I was surprised they didn’t ask me to fill in an accident report as the graze was quite bad. Maybe they need training on accident reporting. Also this part of the corridor should definitely have a warning about the uneven floor. I wasn’t hurt seriously (ie no permanent damage) but it could have been worse especially for an older person.

Very good location for a visit to Leicester in the heart of the city centre. Beautiful decor. Very comfortable. This was a studio apartment so good for self catering with the benefits of a hotel such as a restaurant and bar and communal areas. There is a lift. Breakfast was good. A nice, simple selection for continental and you could order a cooked breakfast. It had good quality ingredients and was nice to have it cooked fresh to order. Staff are very friendly and helpful. As I arrived I passed the receptionist helping someone with a heavy case. Good value for money. 10 min walk to station and large car park round the corner - 2 mins.

This area has a number of bars and clubs nearby so can be a little bit of noise from the street but I slept fine.

Great location for us opposite the Comedy Club we were visiting and close to plenty of bars and restaurants. An easy walk from the train station and further into the city. Breakfast was very good and all staff were friendly. Our room was quite cold on arrival but staff were very responsive when this was mentioned on our way out for the afternoon. They put an additional heater in the room so that it was really warm for our return. Easy check in online and pick up of keys on the desk. We liked the fact that even though it was an aparthotel there were always staff on hand. When the door was locked at night, we could let ourselves in and there was still a staff member on the reception desk. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Nice and spacious. We was locked in the car park because it was New Year’s Day and didn’t realise it would be locked up and closed with our car inside! The staff at the hotel couldn’t have done enough…extended our room for free provided a drink and offer of a meal and also went our their way to contact the car park office where eventually we was let out…amazing and compassionate team of people! Could not thank them enough! Thank you.

Nothing the hotel can do and it was NYE but it was very noisy with clubbers leaving at the end of the night. Could have done with a toaster in the room only because there is a little hob and microwave just fancied some toast.
