I cannot recommend Abbey Hotel in Leicester highly enough! Every time I visit Leicester, this is my go-to place, and for good reason. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. From the moment you step in, the staff make you feel at home with their attentive and friendly service, always going above and beyond to ensure your stay is perfect. One of the standout features of Abbey Hotel is the on-site café. It’s a hidden gem that serves delicious halal food, which is such a thoughtful touch for guests. Whether you’re looking for a hearty meal or a cozy spot to enjoy a hot drink, the café has you covered. They offer a fantastic variety, and everything I’ve tried has been top-notch. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around the city, yet the hotel itself feels like a peaceful retreat. The rooms are not just clean but also very comfortable, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. Abbey Hotel truly sets itself apart with its attention to detail and genuine care for guests. Whether you’re visiting Leicester for business or leisure, this hotel ensures your experience is smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Everything is perfect

Nice clean place. Spacious area with small fridge and microwave which was very handy and useful for food storage and heating. Kettle and hot drink facilities available.

The place was clean but could tell that the place may not be regularly maintained such as small bits of paint coming off the walls and finishing touches not done properly. If a small refurbishment was undertaken, this place would be MINT!

The hotel is in a good location , only 10 minuets drive from the train station and coach station. The hotel manager/owner and her staff were very friendly, they could not do anymore for me. I was there to go to the King Power stadium, but could get a taxi. I told the manager and she said she would sort something out for me. The room was very clean. The room was very comfortable. I had a good nights sleep in a comfy single bed. The room was decorated to a high standard, I love the colour of black grey and white. The bathroom has a big double shower, with plenty of hot water, with a nice big rain shower head. The cafe next door had good fresh cooked food at a very reasonable price. Really enjoyed my stay here, when I go to Leicester again I would stay at this hotel.

Nice property- key card access into and out of the building and rooms so felt very secure. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and tidy, albeit it quite small. Lots of tea, sugar, and milk. Wifi worked great. Attached to a place which serves food until late which was helpful.

As someone who got the train to Leicester, this was a good 20-25min walk from the city centre. The room design was quite bizarre, with the room having a desk but no chair, and the bathroom being less than a metre in width, meaning none of the doors fully opened and you had to close the bathroom door to move about. This room would not have been comfortable for a couple. The room was clean and no problems with that, but the hallway generally smelt of poo or broken drains, there was leakage in the ceilings (picture attached), and the extractor fan outside my bedroom sounded like an airplane going off. I don’t think the price I paid for the room was worth the room, but I had no problems sleeping.

So it’s 1 mile from town centre near a retail park however across from Abbey Park! Has a modern cafe as part of the hotel. The rooms we had were non window options however where en suite, good modern shower and toilet etc! Wall mounted tv screen and good size bed with professionally laundered bedding etc! All clean and tidy! For the money, great value decent rooms! Friendly and helpful reception team also.

Staff are great and friendly, room was amazing with own lounge and great value for money, highly recommend, will only use here when I stay in Leicester

Didn't like putting my tea cup on table and marking the table 🤣🤣 get some coasters and less wiping stains for you and solve my OCD 🤣🤣

Comfortable rooms, good shower, very clean, good heater, excellent value for money.

The surroundings are big-box shops and it's a walk of several minutes to anywhere "pretty." İt's not a bad/dangerous neighborhood though. Hairdryer isn't supplied automatically in the rooms.

Easy to find which was good. No parking but this was stated beforehand so wasn't an issue. The staff were very friendly. Checking in was simple. It is what I expected for the price I paid. I would stay here again.

Needs a bit of tlc. Looks a bit worn and tired but for the price I paid to stay it was perfectly fine.

I liked the fact that you were left to relax, carry on with work or whatever you wanted without getting disturbed.I liked the shower and I thought the TV was easy to use

Great hotel, fantastic value for money! Farhana / Hanna at reception was so friendly, welcoming and wonderful - it started off our stay beautifully! The rest followed in similar fashion: the room was delightful, the bed super comfy, and everything very clean and spotless, with bath wash and gel - I needed those :) Check-out time was laid-back and easy of a process, overall really happy with our stay and would definitely visit again!
